Ivy: Some Say she's Poison

Rate this book
Ivy is a master teacher and her lovers are students of her game. Their wills she bends to fulfill her own lustful desires and they enjoy every blissful minute of it, until she dismisses them, one after the other, until there is only one… well, maybe two… one has never been enough for her. Taken from the pages of “Woman at the Top of the Stairs” comes the candid tale of Ivy; a woman cut from the same cloth as the father she idolizes. And just like her father, Ivy is a rolling stone, never stopping, never settling. She has left many a lover in her wake, wounded but wanting more. Ivy is poison to some but a pleasurable antidote to others. Dare to take a taste for yourself and see if she’s really poison.

Camomile can't sooth this itch...

Children watch and learn from their parents. Behavior can be emulated and adapted to fit circumstances. For Ivy the way her mother reacted to her father changed her life. Ivy lived within the bounds of that behavior without trepidation. Life was good damn good until the dam broke. Ivy takes you on a wild erotic ride. Some say she's poison, and if you touch her you might end with an itch of a lifetime

What do you do when you have the best of both worlds? What do you do when you straddle the fence? Would you be content with being on call just for a touch? What are you willing to sacrifice?

Meet Ivy a beautiful woman who always gets her way and no one ever says no to her. Her presence is captivating and once you get one touch or taste of her, you are either in heaven or hell. Ivy gets her ways from her father as she learned from the best.

Ivy's insatiable appetite lands her into a complicated love triangle with several and Ivy, not one who knows how to engage in a healthy monogamous relationship has a hard time adapting. She is torn between many in this interesting pager turner.

Green gave us a different body of work that was tantalizing and sensual. She opens the door to the taboo topic of polygamous relationships. I rate this book 4 stars.

Ivy is Poison

I am very familiar with this author and her work so the fact that this was a good read was not surprising. Loved the plot and characters. It really offered a lot of explanation as to why Ivy is the way she is. Great Read! Keep up the good work!

"Ivy: Some Say She's Poison" by Deidra D. S. Green

My Thoughts....

This author really knows how to give the readers a read that will keep your attention till the very
end. For Ms. Ivy one woman who got her way and was definitely "master teacher and her lovers are students of her game." Ivy grew up thinking one way about her mother but later to find out from her father that she had gotten it all wrong. Will she be able to get it right before it's too late? Be aware that this is a very erotic read and now having said that and not wanting to spoil any of the novel to the readers, you will just have to pick up the read and see for yourself how Ivy comes to the right conclusion for who she wants in her life. To the author .... you really know how to write to hot steamy stories!

I was every bit of hot, bothered, ruffled and fluffed during this exceptional read. Ivy reminded me of a like character but Ivy has a heart of gold just don't f' wit her nerves. The two weeks it took for me to complete this awesome read, Ivy game me several things to think about that's for sure. I didn't have my bubbles buy my glass stayed half full. Now I must brace myself to back track and find out what happened before Ivy...

Thank you Deidra for recommending Ivy for my first read of you. I was both shocked and delighted.

There's no question I am a #FanOfTheAuthor

Ivy! Ivy! Ivy!

When I first read about this character in another one of the author's books, I didn't like her at all. Now, I have a better understanding of who she is. Seeing love portrayed a certain way can be detrimental, especially for a girl child. Ivy's childhood shaped the way she chooses to live her life. I'm not mad at her, but, at some point, sharing can get old. (I'm not one for sharing when it comes to love) I wish nothing but the best for Ivy as I'm sure her story isn't over. Plus, I need to know if her path will cross with Brock's again. Hmmm...
