Binding is tight; front and back covers have considerable shelf wear; child's name written in "belongs to" box. The title page has a bent corner and small tear on right edge. The remaining pages are in very good condition; no marks, stains or tears. Simon and Schuster, 1952. This is probably a First Edition, although there's no proof.
