Patrick Khayler lives in Texas with his wife of many years and two children. Together, they enjoy active family vacations to exotic locations with diverse outdoor activities such as camping, biking and SCUBA diving. He enjoys reading everything, regardless of genre, in any subject that manages to hold his interest at the time.
In fiction, Patrick enjoys stories with detailed character development. Those few gems in which the author has pulled the reader in so deeply, the reader can no longer determine where their own life ends and the protagonist's begins. Stories where the reader is engrossed the entire time, turning page after page just to find out what happens to themselves. They have lived every moment of each character's background or know others who have. They can actually see themselves acting in the same way and know it is themselves living the fantasy. Hoping it will never end.
Patrick Khayler's first book, The Present, was written as a gift to his wife for her birthday. Written in the erotic romance genre that she enjoys so much, he wanted to compose a story set within the realm of probable while still providing an absolute and total escape from reality. Two people, parents, who love each other completely, actively searching to fulfill their own sexual fantasies... Together.

Where anticipation and fantasy can take you...

What to say about this book...?

Hard to believe this is the author's first full-length novel. It tells of Lisa and Davis, a happily married couple who invite a third person into their relationship as fulfilment of a shared fantasy.

Sounds like a porn plot, right? Patrick Khayler does an amazing job bringing his protagonists to life. The love between Davis and Lisa "leaps off the page", especially in light of Becky's less fortunate romantic history. And the eroticism is out of this world. I've read my share of erotic romance, but never as well done as this.

So ignore the slightly cheesy cover, this isn't one of *those* books. Or it is, but it is so much more. Do yourself a huge favour and check it out. You'll be glad you did. Very, very highly recommended!

Marriage is often presented as something very depressing in erotic romance and erotica. At least when the novel starts with an already married couple It’s either a crumbling union of two people who can no longer communicate, a source of endless sexual frustration. The stories of the genre with a married couple usual revolve around cheating, illicit affairs, blackmail. The two partners are silent about what bothers them and what they want but are too ashamed to admit. Sometimes they survive the bad circumstances the author puts them through and come out stronger and happier, with a reconstructed relationship. In other cases, the couple falls apart and finds their physical and emotional desires with another partner.

I know a conflict is necessary to drive the plot, however, the idea that a marriage always leads to a rut and routine can be depressing. The Present, a debut novel by Patrick Khayler, had none of the above-mentioned tropes. It was a pleasant surprise and one of the most hopeful and deeply erotic books I’ve had the delight to read. The fact that the author wrote it for his wife who inspired him made The Present even more special.

The idea that two people can have a passionate and steamy connection even after years of marriage and children was exciting.

Lisa and Davis, the two protagonists of that ravishing tale of sensual awakening, have been together ever since their college days. I loved the fact that their relationship didn’t start as a love at first sight. They had to build their relationship and the intense passion that ended up consuming them was a result of their friendship and communication. First of all, they had to learn to trust and open up to each other before taking a swim in the pink ocean of their wildest erotic fantasies. It was amazing how they could be so honest with each other over things most contemporary people are embarrassed. There was no such tension and unspoken, pent up longings between them. No topic or sexual fantasy was too taboo or too uncomfortable to discuss.

That is not to say they were two irresponsible human beings going at it like rabbits while the world is falling apart around them because they are too consumed with physical lust. They had a steady family and home. Davis was a good father who valued the time with their children. Lisa was a sweet and caring mother. In many ways, they were a normal couple and the last people one would suspect of having such a hot and kinky sexual chemistry. It was great they were finding ways to satisfy their passion and not fall into the same routine and at the same time they didn’t allow the sexual urge to take control over their life.

The characters were so real, with their flaws, good sides, highs and lows I felt like these were actual human beings. Over the course of their ten years anniversary, I felt like I truly got to know them, feel their lust, their needs, fears and every emotion they went through.

Lisa was truly a ferocious minx and probably my favorite in The Present. Sometimes during their marriage games, she plays the submissive, allowing her husband to tie and tease her body. She was the real mistress of seduction in that story, always in control, even when her body was aching in desire. The way she slowly built up the innocent Becky’s slow seduction was truly a thing of beauty. Lisa was smart enough to know when to play hard and when to use sweet words and seductive imagery.

Davis was truly her match in every sense of the word. He was a good man with moral values and principles so it was really fun to read about the way his wife was teasing and alluring him. I’m not going to spoil the story for you by revealing too much but it was both endearing and incredibly hot to read about him reigning in his desires. Of course, Davis was also pleasantly dominant and once he was in charge he knew exactly how to revenge for the sweet torment.

Becky… well, a lot of women would identify with her. It was empowering to see her transformation from a depressed divorcee full of insecurities into a woman on her way to discover a new life full of unexpected possibilities. I loved her character and I really look forward to reading some of the next books she is a character of (Valentine’s Dreams and Bound By Cotton).

The pace of the story was perfect. Even if the story took place within only a day and a night it never felt rushed. Everyone was really natural in their reactions and I could see such a special anniversary really happening.

Patrick Khayler’s writing was absolutely beautiful. He has the talent to wrap even the filthiest situations in magic and seduction. There is a lot of sex in the story and yet it never feels crass or just inserted for the shock value. He uses words to craft an erotic spell and make his reader experience it all as if truly taking part in the story, feeling every touch, kiss, and every sensual pulsation. His steamy scenes were perfect and imaginative enough. I’m sure that if you choose that book you’d get inspired to try many of the situations, Lisa, Davis and Becky play with.

If I have any criticism about the writing and the story it is that at times the description of the house and places was a bit too heavy. There were some scenes at the hospital with Davis that I felt a bit unnecessary to the story but they were short enough so they didn’t distract me too much. I was also not sure if we really needed a repetition of his first time with Lisa through his point of view. Other than that, in case you haven’t figured it out, I loved the book and I can’t wait to read more of Patrick’s erotic world, fantastic writing and great characters.

If you want to read a book filled with ideas on how to spice your marriage and make your sexual life more adventurous this is your story. Five Sizzling Filthy Stars!

I am finding it difficult to review this book. Not because it was bad but because I found myself going up and down like a rollercoaster with my feelings toward the characters.

I usually prefer to read books where the male is dominant and possessive but in this case, it’s a little different.
I’ll explain below.

LISA
Lisa isn’t really a domme but she also isn’t a submissive for the most part. In my opinion, she’s a lot like me.
A switch.
She is outspoken with her desires and feelings and knows her own value as a wife, mother and sexual goddess, lol.
She and Davis have a solid and exciting marriage as well as a huge sexual appetite, and each year they try to one-up each other with their anniversary gifts.
This year, however, I think Lisa wins by bringing home a work colleague as a ‘third’ for a night.

I’ll be honest...I didn’t like Lisa much.
She got right on ma tits, so she did, and I can’t put my finger on why exactly.
I spoke to my bestie about it, as she was the one to suggest I read this book, and she suggested that it was because Lisa wasn’t demure and that in their relationship Davis was more the sub.
She may be right, lol, I know I prefer a growly, alpha male!

DAVIS
I liked him...but I wasn’t attracted to him.
Well actually, that’s not entirely true...I was very much attracted to his large penis and what he was able to do with it, lol.

Again, as my bestie said, it’s likely because he’s not my preference in the bedroom and not the kind of personality I usually gravitate toward.
I need a strong man who is able to put me in my place when I step outta line...or at least try to do that, hahaha!

Davis is more than happy to follow Lisa’s lead but when she brings a friend home on their anniversary he’s a little disappointed.
They got rid of the kids for the night and booked a table in a private room at a fancy restaurant.
He was looking forward to the evening and now it looks like they won’t be getting their freak on after all.
But when he realises that she has a little more in mind though he’s completely on board, lol!

SEX SCENES
Now, although I wasn’t particularly keen on the characters when it came to the sex, it was Hot. As. Fuck! Check it out.
“Shhhhh. It’s alright, my sweet baby girl. I’m with you. We’ll take him together.” She kissed her neck again and Becky’s breathing slowed. Her tongue slid across Becky’s skin. So sweet. It has to be Davis. She'd never been attracted to another woman but the heat from Becky’s skin was simply delectable. It’s the game making me feel like this. Watching Davis. That’s why I feel like this. She kissed Becky’s ear softly, wanting to hold her in her arms. “Together.” Lisa returned to Davis again, nodding her consent to him as her fingertips caressed Becky’s side. Davis pushed harder. Eight inches in. Eight inches out. This is unbelievable. Her husband’s huge cock was driving into another woman’s tight pussy inches away and Lisa was the one on the verge of orgasm. Her fingers drifted to her own clit, circling softly, sliding across her soaking lips. This was the vision Davis saw every time she gave herself to him. This was why he loved to take her from behind. Lisa watched the muscles in Davis’s back tighten. She moved behind him and pressed her breasts against him, staring over his shoulder. She smelled his musky scent. Overpowering. Tasting his flesh, she allowed her arms to encircle his body. Her touch drove him harder as she knew it would. Becky’s fingers reached for the edge of the mattress as she began to scream. “Davis! Yes. Don’t stop. Don’t ever stop!” “She’s gorgeous, isn’t she?” Lisa cooed in her husband’s ear. “So beautiful,” he panted. Moving faster. “Beyond tight.” Becky’s screams of pleasure caressed Lisa’s ears with passion. Nine inches in. Nine inches out. His pelvis compressed the luscious ass just beyond her reach. Better than any fantasy. Lisa could sense act two’s climax approaching. Davis needed to understand his motivation for this scene. He needed direction only she could provide. She licked his neck. “Listen to her, Davis. She’s yours now if you can take her. Happy anniversary.” Davis clutched Becky’s hips tighter and drove into her with everything he had.“Come for me, Becky,” he implored. “I need to feel you come.”

FINAL THOUGHTS on THE PRESENT by Patrick Khayler
So here’s the thing. The characters were okay but not great. And the story itself didn’t really pull me in as much as I’d like so I’d give 3 stars for that. However!! The man knows how to write a sex scene! I’d give 5 (hundred) starts for that, lol. So I’m going to give it 4 stars overall.

It took me a full week to read this book. I also highlighted 25 sections. Was it because I was bored and couldn't remember the content? That's a big NO!!
This book was so erotic to me, I kept having to take breaks to cool off. I found Lisa and Davis so different than the usual married couples you read about in romance novels. Also, having the husband worship the wife the way Davis does Lisa was so refreshing. I loved his attraction to her and his devotion to her and their family. Pick up this book for a little ménage fun and feel the love between husband and wife as they open their Anniversary night to a friend who has been unlucky in love. These sex scenes are written so well and so erotically that you will feel like you are participating in their Anniversary night with them. The different POV's add a whole different feel to this book as well. This book is an awesome read and a present for any reader!

First of all this isn't a short story. It is a full length novel.
The story alternate between the POV from Lisa and Davis. We meet them on the day of their tenth anniversary. They are madly in love with one another and with the kids elsewhere it will be a memorable evening and night!

Why do I like a story or I don't? First of all the main characters. I’d like to think of the heroes and heroines as real persons. So for a female it is important to me that she could be a friend of mine. I want to relate to her. Does she acts similar like I would – given the circumstances? Is she strong but sweet? Is she smart and caring? Lisa ticks all those boxes. I like her. Sometimes a female character is more and I fall in love with her. I didn't with Lisa.
For the male characters, I want to fall in love with them. I like them strong. Strong enough to keep a smart and strong woman on her tiptoes. I like them dominant and sexy. And with added kink in the mix I’m a goner. Unfortunately I didn't feel that way with Davis. Probably the way he lets Lisa play with him. Although he is very likable, I didn't love him. He isn't dominant, more a Beta. Lisa is the one in control.

An other part of what makes a book good for me is trickier. It is wether or not the story sits well with me, based on:
• Are the people acting within character?
• Does the storyline wants me to hang on and finish the tail?
• Does the sex fit in with the story - does it contribute or is it sex leading like in a porn movie?
• Does the sex make me hot and bothered?
• How is the dynamic between the main characters?
• And does the book contain (elements) of BDSM.
For me “The Present” is a big hit on almost all of the above. There is only one thing that doesn’t make sense to me: Becky’s age. She seems older then Lisa - despite her lack of experience -, but then Lisa calls her ‘my young friend’.

I like that it is a novel. I am a fast reader and even if I can enjoy short stories, it is sometimes quite frustrating that books only last a day or an evening:-) so definitely a high score on that part.

So overall a very pleasing book. Not one of my all time favorites. But definitely a worthy 4 stars rate. And definitely an author to keep in mind.
Oh … And I know just the gift for our twentieth anniversary this year :-)

Hot dayum, THE PRESENT is one seriously smokin' read!

Lisa and Davis Hensley are celebrating their 10th anniversary, and neither can't wait to find out what's in store! The two are constantly trying to outdo each other with their sexual depravity, and this year is no exception. Lisa's last minute decision to invite newly single Becky into their bed will give all three of them the most erotic night of their lives!

THE PRESENT is the first novel by Mr. Khayler, and it's a doozy!! This book was one big episode of foreplay, from Lisa's decadent seduction of Becky, Becky and Lisa's seduction of Davis, Davis' dominating demeanor, Becky's innocence yet sexual ferocity once she gets going…it's all erotic as hell! Bonus: there's a little porn for everyone, some girl on girl action, some cuckold fantasies, pegging, MMF lovin, some BDSM, a little D/s, it was all packed in there as scene after scene unfolded before me.

The characters weren't particularly developed, but I don't think they need to be in a book that is primarily erotica. Instead, Mr. Khayler lets us experience every encounter as Becky would, not really sure about the couple who will rock her world, but damn willing to let them lead her to paradise. This is an extremely hot book, one that fans of FFM menagé and FF storylines will enjoy. I know that I personally couldn't tear my eyes from the pages, staying up well into the night to find out what the three of them would get up to next!

Bottom Line: This is a long book, but it's thick with arousal and the weight of delicious sexcapades. THE PRESENT pushed all my buttons!! - See more at: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/v...

Writing erotica, as I'm sure that authors will probably agree, is very difficult and requires great skill. Some books will make you curl up your toes in embarrassment, while others can leave you cold and unconnected to the characters. Neither of these things will happen when you read this book - this I can guarantee!

I won't re-run the story, or the premise behind it, as many others have already done so. But what I will say is that if you read the book and receive no libidinous effect, well you must be made of stone! The erotic content is pitched at just the right level. You never feel that the author is labouring the sexual imagery. It is written with great care for detail, without going over the top into caricature. I'm particularly impressed with the way the male author has interpreted the thoughts and feelings of the two women in the story. I can only assume that he is a very intuitive erotic writer, who understands the working of the female mind - a skill that is sadly lacking in some writers of his sex.

As a first book, The Present is amazing, and the writer is guaranteed a successful career in this genre. And as it was written as a birthday gift for his wife, I'm sure that we all wish her many more happy birthdays, and look forward to many more books from this author.

This book made me late for after school care pick up because I sat in the car finishing it! It is unbelievably hot, from the beginning to the very last page. It is my favorite kind of erotica- totally possible under implausible circumstances. Khayler adds authenticity by weaving the mundane of daily family life and work with fantasy, memories of past sexual escapades, and the anticipation of a hot, hot night.

The underlying love story of two people wrapped up in real life--kids, jobs, responsibilities--sang through the heat of the crazy menage sex. Throughout the book, you get a sense that the author is writing from experience. In the early chapters, he details the awkward beauty of the couple's first time together. It was like a look into a real past that blossomed into a happy lifetime, seasoned with hot fantasies.

The narrative was bulky in spots, but the sex was so hot, it didn't matter. Khayler's writing is slick and easy to read.

If you are in the mood for wet panties, read this book.

Definitely worth a 5 Star rating!

This isn’t my favourite book, but it’s so well done it’s got to get 5 Stars. The story is terrific and the characters mesh together perfectly. As per other reviewers, there was too much description for me at the beginning of the book, but then again the descriptions were full and rich and beautifully crafted.

Once the action began, the descriptions filled the pages with beautiful scenes, rich with feelings and emotions. One wonders why every couple wouldn’t want a few experiences like this over a lengthy marriage?

At points there were aspects of fantasy, some continuity issues and in the intense sections too many typos. But the story, scenes, emotions and thoughts were so strong, they overrode any detail concerns.

I understand the continuing stories are Becky’s story. I would prefer to read about Lisa and Davis’s next adventure. I wonder how open the couple would be and whether Davis would explore the “other side” the way Lisa did? It’s always interesting to me that couples’ desired “experiences” seem to have some pretty fixed boundaries.

I’m definitely interested in reading other books by this author.

The premise of this book intrigued me. I was curious to know what would cause a happily married couple to pursue a ménage, how the scenario would play out, and how the event would conclude. The story begins with Lisa preparing for her tenth anniversary with her husband, Davis. The reader is immediately presented with the couple’s profound love, and is periodically given a window into the past. At first, I read the flashbacks with hesitancy, considering it is a large amount of backstory. Yet it wasn’t long before I was sucked into their past. The way they met, fell in love, and their first sexual experiences with one another only made the couple more endearing to me. In fact, the sexiest scene is when they first slip their hands into each other’s pants. I could feel the rush, the excitement of touching someone for the first time. And the many games they play with one another, while slightly concerning if done in reality, were amusing and made for an entertaining lead into the ménage.
When Becky is finally introduced, the story comes alive. The reader is provided a deeper insight into the characters’ motivations. It was painted so well that I understood why each character wanted to participate in a ménage, which is important to me as a reader and what makes a successful story. While the stakes aren’t high, the reader understands the motivations and what’s at cost: their marriage. Can Lisa and Davis fulfill their fantasy successfully without any complications to their relationship?
The Present is well written, and I only have two very minor complaints. There’s a little bit of head hopping when Becky enters the story, which made connecting the internal thoughts confusing. And there were times when I could have done with a little less description. Otherwise, a fantastic story about the tremendous love between two individuals and how that passion can be shared with another. Patrick Khayler’s The Present is packed with sybaritic prose that is sure to have any reader fanning themselves throughout the story.

I definitely recommend and will be picking up the next two books that follow Becky. I've grown fond of her character and am interested to see where her sexual appetites will take her next!

It's Davis and Lisa's fifteenth wedding anniversary. The couple, always looking for new ways to share their passion in bed, has used their anniversaries to do wilder and wilder acts. As Davis is at work, eager to get done with the day, his wife runs into Becky and learns she is moving away.

The chance encounter leads to a conversation and idea. Lisa knows there is one fantasy she has that she never thought she could fulfill—she wants to see her husband make love to another woman. And thus begins her seduction of Becky into a night of hot, menage passion.

Davis won't know what hits him when he comes home and finds two beautiful women to enjoy!

The Present is one hot, erotic novel. Patrick Khayler keeps the passion stewing as he intertwines the lives of Davis and Lisa as they go through their day getting ready for their anniversary. And things only heat up when Lisa bumps into Becky and the two women begin talking and sharing their fantasies. The book keeps your reading, eager to get to that moment when Davis receives his present and has one hot anniversary.

There is nothing dull about this book. It was spiced with hot sex that just gets better and better until you reach the finale. You'll be so primed by the time the menage happens, you'll be exploding with your own passion as your read.

This is one of the hottest erotic novels on the market, and one you should be reading!

What a gift! This is a book that you will want to unwrap again and again and again. It has so many layers of deliciousness that it will be going on my ‘to read again at least once a year’ list. Patrick Khayler has delivered a passionate journey exploring the love of a husband and wife who still crave each other after so many years of marriage but adds to that the sexual awakening of recently divorced neighbour Becky, who joins the couple to help fulfil some of their deepest desires. He manages to build the tension right from the start gradually revealing the couples fantasies until they reach the pinnacle of their dreams in a once in a lifetime night of lust and loving. It was a joy to read such a beautifully crafted erotic fantasy that grabs you and holds you spellbound right to the very end. I loved the characters, I loved the fantasy and I loved this book! 5 stars of super sexy hotness.

This is one of the most Erotic, eloquent, arousing well developed and well written books I've read. It was so arousing, sensual with laugh out load moments, down to earth and believable.
To feel so safe and to understand the desires of a long term loving relationship such a turn on. My wish is that more men would read this sort of book to have a males view of a female the way Davis does. It is not just the physical that's attractive it's the mental pictures and understanding as well ..
I agree with our author at the end being able to attract your audience and hold with the ability to make you apart of the book so that you feel,or even act out scenes is such a wonderful talent.
Lisa And Davis are wonderful and I love the teaching part of the book, if only. Makes you wish. Congrats Patrick Khayler .. Very inspiring and I'll be looking for more.
Thank you to MrB and the Dungeon with out which I would not have found.

The hottest book I have ever read

Davis and Lisa are celebrating 10 years marital bliss, its become a tradition to try and out do each other in the present stakes which often of an erotic nature. They have a private Room booked at their favourite restaurant but Lisa is struggling with a gift idea. Their teachers son is moving Away following her divorce and Lisa invites her home while her ex. Clears out his stuff. That's when Lisa remembers a long forgotten conversation with Davis about fantasies, his to watch her with another man and hers to Watch him with another woman and the one In front of her fits all the criteria. What follows is one hot sexy night that none of them or the reader will forget. The detailed narrative takes you on this amazing experience with characters and i really hope to read about Davis' fantasy being realised sometime. I will certainly be reading more of Patrick's work in the future.

I’m so happy to have discovered Patrick Khayler’s books! This is my first and I was totally blown away by what a page turner it is. We follow Lisa and Davis, a married couple who still have a deep and passionate connection despite many years of marriage and children. Their annual one-up man ship on Valentine’s Day leads to finding a unique present in the form of divorcee Becky. This was a highly descriptive story, without being wordy which drew me in and made me feel as though I was there experiencing it - I wish! Intensely rousing, I recommend having your partner on hand, otherwise some toys or a very cold shower, you’ll need it! Although this is scorching hot what touched me most was the incredible love of the married couple and how they navigated their adventure, simply great writing. More please.

The present is a scorching hot fantasy book. Lisa and Davis is a hot sexually charged married couple that has a very big appetite. While celebrating their anniversary Lisa has no idea what to get Davis. As she is trying to figure out what to get him she comes up with the best present. While Lisa is preparing and organizing Davis comes home to the best present ever. This book is super HOT and super sexually charged Patrick Khayler had me wiping my brow a couple of times that's how good this book is. This was my first book to read from this author and will be very pleased to continue to read his work.

What a steamy, well though story!

I truly enjoyed this novel, showcasing a deeply-in-love couple celebrating their love and passion for each other. This is a true erotic romance, with each corner filled with sexy scenes pushing the boundaries of passion and arousal more at every turn.

More than is there, though, as I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship between husband and wife. It was filled with credible emotions and depth of character, making me care about more than just the sex. This was my first book by this author, but it won't be the last.

I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a sexy escape!

Steaming HOT

This is the second book I have read from Mr. Khayler, and he utterly surprised me with this one.
From the beginning I was hooked.
Mr. Khayler has a way to bring you into the story and keep you wanting more.
The P. O. V. From both Lisa and Davis was perfect.
You could feel the love and bond that Davis and Lisa had, with that they could enjoy their fantasy together that makes one hell of an anniversary gift.
I highly recommend this read to anyone who want to be blown away by Mr. Khayler unique and very steamy thoughts.
I loved it and this will be a read I will read a few times.

The Present by Patrick Khayler is the second book I read by by him. Right away I was drawn into the story. I really liked the way the author wrote Dennis and Lisa's POV. I gained insight into the couple's thoughts and reactions to one another, family life, and work. I liked the way Mr. Khayler wrote Dennis and Lisa's backstory of their life together and how it grew into a very beautiful, loving, and trusting relationship. I also felt Becky was a believable character.

This book was very hot and more than steamy. Mr. Khayler definitely knows how to write erotica. I liked the way he balanced the story and the sex scenes. I will definitely read more by this author.

Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect when reading this. I certainly got a lot for my money! Davis and Lisa have been wed for ten years, together for fifteen. Their anniversary is a time to compete for the best - sexual - gift, outdoing each other year on year. This year, Lisa's planned present hasn't worked out, and she has to go shopping on the day for a replacement, but then an acquaintance, one of their sons' teachers, is in need of a shoulder and Lisa offers hers. It is an eye-opening experience for both Lisa and Becky (a unicorn!). A tribute to a deeply passionate and loving marriage, full of erotic sexual exchanges. Inspirational.

I have to admit that I was feeling a little jaded about reading another Menage. I'm happy to say, I'm over being jaded! This book is funny in spots and the loving relationship they have is awesome and added to that, well, lets just say my recliner's still smoking!
Patrick gives you very good POV from both husband and wife and he's spot on in that! Be prepared to read this when your not going to have distractions because believe me it's a book that your not going to want to put down until the end. He is on my favorite list and I'm looking forward to his future books!

OMG!! This book is seriously panty melting!! DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC!! well..... unless you are into that kinda thing lol ;)
I suggest not reading this book when kids are home, rather start reading just before your other half is due home!!
This is not just a story featuring FMF, but more a story of two people who love each other unconditionally, and have an open, honest relationship with each other that allows them to explore each others sexual fantasies in a healthy and beautiful way.
Loved reading this

This book was the most erotic and sexiest book I have ever read. Patrick Khayler writes with such detail that you almost feel like you are there with them. I love the story of a husband and wife that are not considered newlyweds but still have so much want and desire between them that you have to be a little jealous of their relationship. It was truly refreshing to read about two people who still find each other so hot after 15 years together. It will definitely be a reread for me, several times!

THE PRESENT by Patrick Khayler is red-hot! And written by a man, oh my word!!!
His dialogue and descriptions of rising desires and exquisite fulfilment are deeply stirring, and the story of two people committed to each other after years of marriage is delightful! Don’t miss this one. I highly recommend this book for couples to read together because you’ll need take a cold shower directly after of you read it alone!

OMG!!!

Hot, hot, hot!!! I was warned, by the author himself, not to read this book without a partner or some type of "aid" nearby and I thought he was kidding...he definitely was not! From the get go, this book has you sweating with desire until all that is left of you is a puddle. This was the ULTIMATE erotica story and I can't wait to read more of his work! But first, I need a cold shower.

What would you give your spouse for a 10-year anniversary gift? Lisa gave Davis a night to remember when the opportunity presented itself and she ran into Becky. Things turned uber hot in a hurry. It was erotic, sexy, yet full of love and respect. I love how both male/female POVs were captured spot on. Well written, and amazingly loving. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Omg! This has to be the hottest, most sensual book that I have ever read!! It has me squirming in my seat. They are such a beautiful couple that were open about their sexual needs and desires and weren't afraid to go out an achieve them. I love how much love and respect that Davis and Lisa have for each other. Becky was certainly a lucky lady!! Bravo on such an amazing book!!

Beautifully written erotic romance. The flow was amazing, the characters well developed and a strong excellent plot to thrill the reader. It was a fun and hot book to read. The author wrote with emotion and clarity about an often taboo subject. I wish everyone could enjoy Patrick Khayler's writing!
