Aimee isn't like your typical girl. During the winter, she's Angel Connor, a high school student with a perfect GPA that can go to whatever college she wants. During the summer, she becomes Aimee the Apex, a half-human, half-alien. Every summer, Aimee's father gives her a special assignment to complete for an allowance and this year, the assignment is very special: track her sister and best friend Charlie down and rescue her from the alien kidnappers that wish to do her and her family harm.

An easy read, a little mature, for anybody in high school or about to enter high school. If you like adventure or cross country adventure you'll like this book.
