I enjoyed this book. It is simply written but if you like history it is a wonderful view into the life of an amazing man and an amazing American. I learned a great deal about the relationship between him and his only son and how critical Benjamin Franklin was to the revolution

Great if you are not already a huge history buff. Really good.

I think this was a VERY good short summary of Franklin. It does not go into great detail for each of the aspects of his life but certainly give one an idea of how greatly diverse his interests were and and how influential a figure he was in formation of the United States of America. His wit was incredible! While he has been credited with being a founding father I fear he is not celebrated as highly as he deserves.

There are several grammatical errors that slow reading as you try to determine what the author wanted to say. The book wad a quick and interesting biography of Franklin, a unique and important historical figure in U.S. history.
