The short stories in this collection were H-O-T! The pace of the storylines was on point and the stories very believable. I also enjoyed the poetry and quotes that introduced each one.
The stories pulled me in, making me want more and more. The creativity of the stories was intriguing and I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style. I look forward to reading book 2.
I enjoyed most of the pieces in this anthology. The poetry pieces were nice as were most of the short stories. The two short stories I did not enjoy were because of the main characters; one of the people (the woman in one and the man in the other) was toxic. I do not enjoy reading about toxic relationships.
This collection was pretty well put together. The interludes did well transitioning from on store to another. Make me yours, was good but the first story, Colder than July and Through the Looking glass, stay with me.
This was a very good read of various stories. I do however, think the majority of stories belong under erotica given that 85% of them revolve around or involve explicit sex. The stories are well written, there are minimal editing issues and the characters
This was my first time reading a book by this author. Each story was different and had me wanting more. I enjoyed it and you won't be disappointed with this read. I can't wait for volume 2.
I enjoyed this collection. There were a bunch of stories I wanted more from but that is just how I am. Each story stood on its own and they were all really good.
Phoenix I will say this is the book that you pen in my opinion every short story got better as I keep reading. Out of the short stories two was my favorite the last one and Enter the Lion's Den. I m so looking forward to volume 2 Phoenix After Dark.
