HANNAH COCKER: We, the descendants of six notorious brothers, are a close-knit group. We have to protect each other. People want to be our friends, our lovers, for all the wrong reasons... For what we can do for them. What they can take from us. And sometimes snakes wear masks. Every man I've dated in this city has either bored me or hurt me. So when my wild biker cousin, Sofia Sol, offers me a ride on the back of her Harley With no destination in mind, just out-of-Atlanta and free free free, Can you blame me for saying, hell yes?
TOBIAS KYRKOS: Life doesn't hand you what you want. You have to take it. Two years ago I lost an MMA fight that cost me my Champion title. Now's my chance to turn the tide. I don't know who the Cocker family is. Florida doesn't give a damn what happens in any other state. So when I spot Hannah Cocker for the first time, I don't know she's semi-famous, and I don't care. All I'm thinking is, how can I make that beautiful woman's sadness disappear? I'm not good enough to be her forever... but I sure can give her one hell of a ride tonight. Problem is, when the time comes, will I be able let her go?
NOTE: This series is all stand-alones where any can be enjoyed first. Loyal family. Emotionally moving stories. Laugh out loud humor. Loads of steam! Get ready to be addicted...

Title: Cocky Senator’s Daughter: Hannah Series: Cocker Brothers of Atlanta #8) Author: Faleena Hopkins
If you want good laugh come join the Cocker Brothers of Atlanta, their children are all grown up – first up is notoriously Senator Justin Cocker daughter (Hannah)- the next generation of the Cocker
I love Faleena Hopkins book, but to be totally honest I was Lil worried about reading the next generations. I have to omit I had small amount of doubts, boy did Faleena Hopkins prove me wrong.. Trust me I will never doubt her again.. With that said- here we go
Hannah Cocker comes from a large family but has always felt like an outsider cuz of her circumstances. Hannah & her father (Justin) are very close & he is very protective over her. Hannah mother die when she was at young age, she went to live with her dad & Jaime , but at times never seem to feel like she fit in.
Hannah just can’t seem to find right man. Most of the guys in town call her the “Ice Princess” So when one guy intently sets out to embarrass her by breaking her heart. When her wild & crazy cousin (Sofia Sol) h ask her to hit road with her.. Hannah doesn’t hesitate
Tobias is professional fighter with a dark side. Somewhat alone, all Tobias has is his mom & grandma. Tobias has a hard time trusting after all that he been through in his past.
Hannah & Tobias just seem to fit together.. You’ll see that as you read their story- While cocky brother series will always be my favorite, it’s time for the next generations to give us our laughs & also our tears…
I also love how all the cousins interact amongst each other’s, they remind so much of their fathers. The poor young men & women that will have to face Cocker Brothers as parents …
I couldn’t believe there is 17 cousins in total now & if Faleena Hopkins writes a book for each one we in trouble.. Lol ➦Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
➦**"I voluntarily reviewed this ARC" ..** .**In exchange for an honest review.**
Oh my gosh the Crocker Children are all grown up. Hanna, Senator Justin Crocker daughter has been in the spotlight since a child 👶. Because of the way her mother died and her father Justin political career and him not even knowing she was born until she’s five years old. Book 7 - A Honey Badger’s Xmas Honey Badger and Margaret Book 8 - Cocky Senator’s Daughter Hanna and Tobias
Hanna: Having discovered a juicy underbelly her teeth can slice open, the reporter’s eyes glint with victory as she cuts me even deeper. “You didn’t know he was married?” My dad takes my elbow and walks me onto the elevator. “That’s enough.” They start shouting questions I can’t hear. The doors close. I croak, “Dad, he’s married?” “If I’d have known that I would have killed him!” Everything vanishes. I can’t see in front of me. It feels like I’m drowning. Sounds are filtered as if through water. I felt this before. Yes, I know this feeling. But it was so long ago. The doors open and by some miracle nobody is waiting. They probably already scoped it out and decided to wait downstairs…where they hit the jackpot.
The first half of this book is easy to read, but then the inconsistencies accumulated and it went downhill.
Hannah was a cute girl in her father's book and taken into the family fold with a lot of love, especially being the oldest grandchild. From the first hour of their meeting her father doted on her and even gave up his dream to run for senator. Nevertheless after more than 20 years she still feels like not belonging and grieves for her mother who was responsible that her father was not in her live during the first five years.
In her book Hannah appears to be a bored, insecure socialite. The reader gets no information about her job, friends besides her cousin Emma, we only learn about her whining some boy didn't call her back. How conceited is she? Apparently he was not into her. I also wonder how she could date such a wimp, all her rolemodels (father, uncles, cousins) are pure alpha-males and I would expect her to have some healthy self-confidence. The biggest surprise was that Justin didn't walk her down the aisle
At the bottom of the book Faleena Hopkins describes how she writes: she just starts typing, letting the characters dictate the story. As a reader you unfortunately notice that lack of research: Tobias is said to have a Greek mother, father unknown. So why did she give him a German name? No Greek I know would do that, they are very proud of their heritage even when they are living abroad. Why doesn't she speak Greek fluently? You never forget your first language. And the great grandmother. She should be over 100 years old: in the brothers' books Michael and Nancy were in their late fifties, now it is 25 years later, they would be in their early eighties, add 20 years for his mother, you'll get over 100years.
There is a lot going on in the book, but it is lacking a golden thread running through.
I apologize ahead of time for this crappy review. I stink at doing this. But I do love me some Cocker Family!!
Wow I loved this story. My heart ached for both these characters at some point. Having lost my own mother I know the pain she felt. I became fond of her in Cocky Senator. She is what you'd see as a spoiled brat but it's like once you get to "know" her you can't help but just love her like she was either your child or best friend. Tobias was yummy as well. An MMA guy whose an alpha. Yummy!! We get a glimpse of all the Cocker kiddos. There is so many of them tho I keep forgetting whose who's. And please God let Emma's story be next. We get a glimpse of her at the end and OMG sweet baby Jesus it's so freaking hot. I mean I hear Joey saying "woah"
A story full of hope, love and fulfillment of the soul!!! Absolutely beautiful! Read in one day!!

I read this book as an advanced reader copy. So glad that I'm a part of Faleena's pack. I have waited it seems like forever to read about this girl. Having read all of the Cocker brothers series, this was just the icing on the cake. You don't have to read the others to read this book, but if you have read them, the characters mean so much to you and you are able to understand each and every one of them so much more. I'm talking 3 generations worth of characters plus Grandma May but, as in Faleena fashion, it was supberbly written and so engrossing to read. I read this book in a short day because I just couldn't put it down. Those of us who have read this whole series have been eagerly awaiting this new book for what seems like an eternity. These Cocker's are a part of our family. They are a part of us and we have grown with them. It's like your favorite TV show and you never want it to end.
So, Hannah, who had her mother die when she was really young and came to live with a father she didn't know. Hannah and her father are very close and he is very protective over her, even when she is an adult. Hannah loves and needs him, but still has issues because of not having her mother. She also hates being in the lime light because of her fathers political career. She so desperately wants to find someone who loves her for her and not her name or what her family is in Georgia. She comes from a large family but has always felt like an outsider because of her circumstances. She makes some bad choices which continue to discourage her about relationships until she meets Tobias. He is a man without a family at all except for his mother and grandmother. He feels alone in the world and really doesn't think that he is worthy of most things, especially Hannah. When he meets her he is entranced with her beauty and doesn't know who she is until he checks Google due to someone telling him who she is. That doesn't really faze him only that he wants to take her sadness away from her and make her happy. Their relationship is electrifying and is so sweet and endearing with a couple bumps in the road that only makes them want each other more.
This story is one of beauty, love and finding self. Both of them have their own reasons for thinking that love is not going to happen to them for various reasons, but when they come together, they heal each other and find in each other their soul mate and reason for being. Hannah finally finds that fullness that she has been looking for and Tobias finds the belongingness that he has always needed and wanted. Yes, we do get a little bit of action from Justin, typical as ever. Gotta love that guy. And--we get a lot from the cousins in this story. Each one so much like their parents. So loved them getting in trouble together. Anyway, if you haven't read any of the Cocker brothers series you have sorely missed out. You need to read those and read this one as well. It doesn't matter that this is like the 10th book, including Honey Badger that Faleena has written with this family. Each and every one has been so drastically different with their own storyline. I am constantly amazed at how she is able to keep all of these people organized and incorporated in so many ways through these stories. This book is a must read!!! Beautiful and incredible Faleena, as always.
Eventually we all have to cut the apron strings. Hannah's story is an eye opener. Being in the limelight constantly isn't what it is cracked up to be. Yes, it has perks but it has more pitfalls. You can't help but cheer for Tobias. I don't know how Faleena comes up with her story lines but they certainly are NOT predictable! I loved reading the interaction between all the siblings and cousins. You won't be disappointed reading any of Faleena Hopkins books. I enjoyed seeing Justin come back. It was refreshing to get a glimpse of him "all grown up", still sexy but such a good dad. Faleena seamlessly integrates her characters from previous stories so that even if you haven't read their story you are not lost. I was given this as an ARC and am delighted to be one of the first ones privileged to read it.
I have to be honest. Although I am a huge fan of Faleena Hopkins and madly obsessed with the Cocker Brothers, I wasn’t totally sure how this new series of Cocker kids was going to work for me. I had just finished reading about the brothers falling in love and now I am going to start reading about their grown kids? I was a skeptic, but I was wrong. So, so, very wrong.
I absolutely loved this book. I loved checking in with the brothers and where their lives are at currently and I loved seeing the intense bond and love the Cocker cousins all had for each other. They protected each other and defended each other, no matter the cost, just like their Dads did for each other. It was really beautiful to see the family come full circle.
But back to Hannah, daughter of former Senator Justin Cocker… Now 28 years old, she’s having trouble finding the love of her life. She dreams of being a mom first and foremost, but she’s had to navigate through the cess pool of unworthy men who are just with her for either her fame, her money or her family’s connections. Hannah has a tough time trusting that she’ll ever find a man who loves her just for her.
After another disastrous break up and the subsequent fallout between Cocker crew and her former fling, she hits the road with her wild and fierce cousin Sofia Sol. She longs to go somewhere she can be free, unrecognized and enjoy life. Hannah doesn’t expect to meet a gorgeous MMA fighter who is ready to battle her insecurities and break down her walls to get to know her. She doesn’t expect to open her heart again so soon. She doesn’t expect to feel so strongly for Tobias after such a short time.
This story is not only a beautiful love story, where Hannah will finally find someone worthy of her love and loyalty, but moreover it’s a story about family. This Cocker family is incredible and would do anything to help, protect or defend one another. They have fun together and they make family a priority in their lives. It’s inspiring. It’s heartwarming. It’s funny. It’s the Cockers. And I am so glad I’m not done reading about their fabulous family and their journeys to finding forever love. I can’t wait for the next one!
Standalone, but I personally think you’d enjoy it more if you’ve read at least Hannah’s dad’s book – The Cocky Senator. The family plays such a huge role in all of the books, so it’s fun to know the background stories and catch up with the clan.
No cliffhanger. HEA. Highly recommend this entire series!
One, I love the Cockers. Two, I wanna be a Cocker! Three, I LOVE the Cockers!
This is a great start to a new series about the next generation of the Cocker family, and they’re as loyal, funny, and gorgeous as the original six brothers.
Kicking off this series is Hannah’s story, who is the illegitimate daughter of Justin from Cocky Senator.
Although well-loved by her family, Hannah has always felt a little bit of an outsider. She joined the family amidst a furore of scandal and now, as an adult, tries to live her life out of the limelight, as much as possible.
“I’ve secretly wondered what it would feel like to be with a man who scared me a little because around him I felt out of control.”
When her love life disappoints her, yet again, she’s takes off on the open road with her free-spirited cousin, Sofia Sol, and meets Tobias Kyrkos, UFC fighter.
“I’m lost. This woman is wrecking me. I don’t trust anyone but being with Hannah is how most people must feel with their families; like it’s home.”
Their initial attraction is strong but trust is a big issue for Hannah, and Tobias is very different to the type of guy she normally meets. He’s cocky, tough, and he seems to genuinely care for her and her well-being. Hannah is like a Nordic princess to Tobias – she looks untouchable. While her beauty dazzles him, her inherent sadness touches his heart.
"The sadness called to me...because I feel it in my bones, too. I recognized her troubled soul because mine is just as haunted."
I ADORED this story. It was as much an introduction to Hannah and her cousins, as well as the love story between her and Tobias. I loved the banter, the solidarity, and the strong familial connection between the cousins.
I liked how Tobias understood Hannah and wanted to shelter her from further scandal, especially when a closely-guarded secret is exposed. Hannah is nearing 30 and is desperate for love and a family of her own, but trust is a major issue. When the chips are down, I loved how strong she was and what she was willing to do to live her life on her own terms.
Wasn't a bad but also wasn't great. Found myself more interested in some of the other characters. Tobias back story was a big let down actually I don't think it was really needed. And feelings on the stepmom subject is still the same. For Hannah to feel in her heart that Jamie isn't her mom then don't call her mom. I was waiting for the moment that Hannah would realize she can love them both. I'm not saying that she can't still feel the hurt over her birth mom. I'm somewhat confused on the last chapter with Emma and Andy. I don't care if he and Sofia Sol are together they supposedly had sex just a few days or weeks prior. And let me tell you there is no one I would sleep with a guy knowing he and my cousin just recently got busy. Nope now one just gross!! So I hope that he and Sofia were just joking around about that subject!!
So it seems somebody got very disturbed with my previous review and decided to flag it although it didn't contain any profanity addressed towards the author. Anyway since I have to focus my content on the book itself I will say this: the series is a waste of your time, every book is almost the same, just change the names and some situations. Copy paste and all that. I absolutely loathed the book and I do not recommend this to anyone.
If you are still disturbed by the review, well at least now it is nicely put between the guidelines.
When: your brand is cocks, and males with Cocky attitudes... then you trade mark "Cocky" and develop a bad attitude yourself; you KNOW you just fucked your career... I hope you got a pen name and a backup idea, because Cocky just fucked you royally.
With such uninspired and overused titles I’m not surprised she needs to cheat in order to keep them original. Instead of threatening people she should use the time to come up with something new.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and this is my extremely honest review. First things first. I've read the whole Cocker series and if you have read the books, then you know they're all about guys so I was actually wondering how would this turns out since it's about the first book about a Cocker girl. It turned out very much fine. One reason why I really loved Faleena's books is how she builds such a strong and developed personalities and depth for her characters. Women aren't mats for the men to walk all over and guys are pretty alpha male BUT they recognize they have feelings! I'm not gonna tell a lot about the plot because I really like you to experience it yourself. All I'm gonna say is that it's about a love story. As if dating wasn't difficult enough, Hannah's celebrity status in her homestate makes it nearly impossible for her to be in a healthy relationship with anybody. Cocky Senator's Daughter got me rolling on my bed laughing and left me some tears too. Faleena has such a sweet and delicate way to include such up to date topics just as sexism in a really fine way that gets you thinking and wishing the change was already made. Although this book is about Hannah, her father Justin Cocker makes such impact in the whole story development that I'm delighted of how finely turned out. It's exactly what we want in men? Never to judge us women for getting the same men are without name calling? This book is so much about women's empowerment I can't contain my pride over how fantastically Faleena has portrayed not only the main character but the secondary ladies too... And finally, (yeah, I can't leave out this LOL) Faleena's steamy scenes got me fanning myself... Perfect for this time of the year! Hot cocoa, under the covers and a Cocker's book in hand!
I received an advanced reader copy of this book for review and am so glad that I’m part of Faleena’s review pack, especially after reading this story. The Cocker Brothers series is one of my favorites and I always get excited when a new book is about to come out (I always preorder the book as soon as I see the email in my Inbox, just saying). Hannah’s story probably cemented my love for this series and has made me excited for the remaining cousins to find love, especially Emma and Ethan.
To be perfectly honest, I always think that the more books there are in a series, the more the story lines start to feel repetitive. In this series, none of the stories feel remotely the same except for having strong men and women and happily ever afters. Hannah’s is no exception and I was pleasantly surprised with the plot line. I also love the fact that the story gave me a glimpse of what might be in store for some of the other cousins. If you are looking for a series to keep you engrossed and believing in love, family and happily ever afters, I totally recommend putting the Cocker Brother series on your to-read list.
I usually say that you don’t need to read any of the other books in the series to understand this one, but in Hannah’s case, I feel that reading Cocky Senator (Justin, her dad’s story) and the bonus scenes will only increase your enjoyment of the book. That and it really gives you a sense of Hannah’s struggles as a child and an adult.
Oh, and just so you know, I finished this book in less than a day…it was that engrossing. Now I have to wait until the bonus scenes come out…
I voluntarily received an ARC for an honest review. The Cocker kids are all grown up in this book. Hannah, Justin's daughter, has been in the spotlight since childhood because of her mother's death and her father's political career. She's been hurt by the media and by people trying to get close to the family by using her. When cousin Sophia Sol breezes into town and offers to take her away from it all, she goes immediately. Feeling weak after an altercation on the road, they stop for a while in Florida so Sophia can teach her to defend herself. There they meet MMA fighter Tobias. Hannah tries to fight her attraction, but their chemistry is too strong. When the media gets pictures of them together, secrets revealed could tear them apart. This book is so amazing! It has all the feels, all rolled up into one. There are hot scenes, tears, and so much love! Hannah's character was perfect. I wasn't sure how the transition to a female Cocker was going to be, but her character is just as amazing as the other books in the series. I've read all the books in the series, and they are impossible to put down. Great story!!
I really do wonder what I will do when there are no more COCKER family members 2 discuss, will I cry, will I feel at a loss or what? What will a girl do??! I love this family. I love Faleena Hopkins' writing style. ... she is a master of words ... spicy, sexy and hotness too!! some how I have missed book #7 (the Christmas book it appears on Goodreads? How did I miss that one?) Oh wow, I would love to chat with one of the reviews on Amazon about this series, I think when an author repeats or maybe say a part of a book over ... they are just contact the dots ... making sure if you are new to a series, you will be able to see the connections or where she/he is or might go with that story line. Just saying. I just have such high hopes for this family. so fun. A must read series!! Loved it. Well done again F. Hopkins!! ( ;
I loved reading Hannah's story. The next generation of the Cocker family is great and I can tell that things are just going to get better. I love how close the cousins are and that they take care of each other, just like their fathers did in their books. Hannah doesn't trust easily and when she is hurt by the last guy she let in, her family is there for her. When she decides to take a trip with Sofia Sol, Jett's daughter, she learns to stand up for herself and to protect herself. I liked Tobias, he has his own problems, but puts Hannah ahead of himself. He wants to protect her and cherish her. I loved the whole story and how everything came to be. I really can't wait for the next book since I know it will be great like this one. I will continue to recommend this series to everyone.
I read this book as a ARC for my honest review. I am excited to be a part Faleena’s review pack, she has quickly become one of my favorite authors! Oh my God I love the Cockers and can't get enough! I read this book in 4 hours because I couldn't put it down, talk about book hangover I finished reading it at 3am. This is one of my favorite series each book is better then the last, I love how you get a little of each family member in each book. Their lives continue on keeping you connected. I'm already dying for the next cousin, after Hannah's book I am thinking the cousins maybe my absolute favorite. If you have not read this series you absolutely must, I recommend this series to everyone.
Oh my God!!! Faleena did it again! The Coker Family is awesome! Hannah's story made me cry, laugh and made me feel part of the action!! Love knowing more about the life after the six brothers found their soulmates!!! Tobias actually is a great addition, and his story is amazing! Absolutely a most read!!!!!
With every book I fall more in love with the Cocker family. I loved Hannah and I'm so excited to see more from this amazing family. It was fun and so full of heart warming moments and other moments when I had tears pouring down my face. A must read!!
This family amuses me with their crazy antics. I love how close they are! How have I never heard of these books until now? I popped my Cocky cherry with this book and there's no going back! Hannah and Tobias deserve their HEA. Loved this book. I received an arc, btw.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Cocky Senator's Daughter, Hannah by Faleena Hopkins.
I fell in love with Faleena Hopkins's work with her Werewolves of New York series and when she came out with the Cocky Brothers series, I thought, "no way could they even come close to being as good as the WWoNY". I am sorry for doubting Faleena. They were just as great if not better. I couldn't get enough of The Brothers. With every book I read, I felt like I was part of that big wonderful, real, down to earth, imperfect family. And now I have the children of The Brothers all grown up and having lives and stories of their own. I get to spend more time with "my" Cocker Family!! I get to catch up with beloved characters from the prior books. I get to see how the children turned out after getting to know them as little ones. I am thrilled with Hannah's book!! Her story is so perfect. And the way that the cousins band together, just like The Brothers did, to help each other out is incredible. Faleena is incredible for writing such an amazing book!! Hannah is suffering from a broken heart and when her cousin, Sofia invites her to go on an adventure with her, she jumps at it. Taking off with Sofia on her Harley is just what Hannah needs. Tobias is a UFC fighter that works out at the gym that Hannah and Sofia are using for Hannah to learn self defense. Sparks fly from the moment that Tobias and Hannah's eyes meet. Sofia and Hannah end up going to Tobias' match that night and hanging out together after. Tobias and Hannah decide not to fight the mutual attraction and end up in bed together. The chemistry and passion is hot enough to set their room on fire. It all seems so perfect till the outside world comes crashing through the door. They each have their own demons they are fighting and pain in their pasts to overcome but this may be too much. Is it over before it barely even gets started?
I voluntarily read an ARC for this, my honest review. I absolutely love the Cocker family! It's always exciting when Ms Hopkins releases another book and I'm absolutely shocked at how quickly she manages to do so (especially with her busy schedule). I've been looking forward to Hannah's story ever since we met her in "Cocky Senator" and I must say, she's every bit of a strong woman that I knew she would grow up to be. She's definitely had heartache in her past but Hannah's able to find her HEA in the end, which is what we all want right? This story to me had a different flow, a different feel to it in comparison to the other Cocker books. Maybe because of it being a Cocker female lead or maybe because of the generation gap between the last story and this one. You can definitely see the difference in the time period as well. Both Hannah and Tobias being somewhat famous, they have a constant barrage of people watching and wanting them. And in an age of technology, with cell phones and aggressive media involvement, they get no privacy at all. I'm actually surprised that Hannah and her cousins aren't in prison, even with her father's political connections ;) These Cocker women may turn out to be even more wily than their fathers were. They're comfortable in their own bodies (being nude in front of others...), and while great to see, I don't know if I would like it if my man gets to see my cousins breasts, or my cousin seeing my man's penis. And Sofia giving another cousin her temporary man toy for a quickie!!! Wow, just wow, I feel old ;)) I love the strength and honesty of these characters though and can I just say that SOFIA IS MY FOREVER WOMAN CRUSH and I can't wait to read her story!
OH, Faleena Hopkins… You never let us down. Congrats on another outstanding book!
We get the opportunity to love this Cocker family through the second generation, can we say, AWESOME! We get to kick that off with Hannah and many other of the loving “older” Cocker cousins like beautiful ladies Emma and Sofia Sol, then the men Ethan, Ben and Gabriel, join her!
Hannah has shield of strong cousins, just like the Cocker Brother (their dads) are to each other, a few insecurities about herself and some unexpressed feeling about her childhood. But soul searching is what she really needs to do. When Sofia Sol stops by Atlanta for a pop in visit and sees that Hannah is in need of something, she challenges her to find her freedom.Tobias is an amazing man, gorgeous, protective, a UFC Fighter and troubled in a way. He has a past, but he is not one to run. The moment Hannah and Tobias’ eyes meet in a gym, they find a connection in each other that neither has never found or felt before. Their chemistry is fire hot! It makes it fun to read and makes you want to cheer for them from the start!
Make sure to read the bonus scenes, don’t forget those! Faleena, goes the extra mile to give us their entire life! Once you start make sure you have a chuck of time, a glass of wine and comfy chair!
Just a side note. You can read this as a standalone book! But WHY? This entire series is AWESOME do yourself a favor and read all of them it is well worth your time, you will laugh, cry maybe a little, and for sure fall in love A LOT!!! I can’t wait for more!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and this is my extremely honest review.
I received this as an advanced reader copy for my voluntary, honest opinion. And below is exactly that.
I normally start getting bored with books that have more than 5 in a series, but not the Cocker family. I don’t know how Faleena managed to write all these books without some type of repetitive story lines. I would suggest you read at least the Cocker Senator to be able to understand some of the references in this book. It’s not really necessary but strongly suggested. You will be able to understand the relationship between Hannah and her father and Hannah and her cousins.
In this story Hannah tries to find someone who will love her for her. Not for what her family has or who her family is. She wants someone who will be honest, caring, and loyal.
She thinks she’s found that in Tobias. He’s a fighter from the gym she is training at. They meet and spend a few days together. Everything is going great, until her Daddy shows up. Then her world and her heart are torn apart, again.
I absolutely love the way her family rallies around her. As much as Hannah needs her space to grow, she needs her families to help her see the bigger picture. I wish I had a family who was as supportive as hers.
Thank you, Faleena for another incredible Cocker book. I can’t wait until the next one.
Ok so I am woman enough to admit that I am addicted to this Cocker family and to Faleena Hopkins!!! This book is the perfect beginning to the "next generation of Cocky" books! I devoured it! I hate to give too much away in a review, but I really feel like I need to tell someone lol. No spoilers though. This book picks up with Hannah and her cousins as adults. We watch Hannah struggle with finding true love in her life, and we watch her family (as always) stand by each other's sides. I loved meeting Sofia Sol and Emma as adults, as well as Ben and Ethan and Gabriel, because they turned out to be exactly who I thought they would be. Honest, caring and loyal til the end. Now for Tobias (swooonnn)! He is amazing, gorgeous, troubled, gorgeous and fierce. As soon as we met him in the book I knew I'd love him immediately, and so would Hannah. Their relationship moves fast and it just feels right. It just worked so well, but then what does Faleena write that doesn't! I refuse to give anything else away, but I will say that this book had a different feel for me than than the other books in this series. Maybe bc it's about their children. Whatever it is, I loved it and I highly recommend you go read it! But I really recommend that you start from the beginning. Go get Cocky Roomie and start there. I know this can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to miss out in this amazing Cocker family!! I was given this book as a member of the ARC team in exchange for my honest review.
When Hannah realizes that she's been "ghosted," all it takes is a couple of concerned cousins and a phone call for a few cousins to band together for her. It's obvious the boys are protective and loyal just like their daddies. Sofia is a wild card just like her daddy. Hannah decides to break out of her shell by hopping on her cousin's bike and going on an impromptu road trip.
Tobias – hot, alpha, and a secret I didn't see coming. He's brought to his knees by Hannah and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe, even if it means he's no longer in the picture.
I can't say enough good things about this book! I loved the overall story of the good girl with the "bad boy" who must overcome obstacles in order to be together. Seeing the cousins all grown up and getting a glimpse of the older (but still alpha and sexy) Cocker brothers was a bonus! I'm looking forward to the Cocker cousins finding their soulmates and getting more glimpses of the brothers.
This is the beginning of the next generation of Cockers. If you've met the brothers, you already know the Cockers are a crazy and loyal bunch. If you haven't met the first generation (the Cocker brothers), you will still enjoy Hannah's story, but I urge you to read the first books in this series just because they're amazing!
A titillating tale that lures the reader into the story with the dynamic plot, action, heart-rendering moments, humor, and blazing hot sensuous romance. There is, of course, a heavenly happy ever after, but not before all the obstacles are distinguished.
An incredible fast-paced skillfully written story that keeps you hooked until the delightful conclusion. This story is mixed with reality and fantasy making it a most captivating read. A fabulous cast of characters who are certainly praise-worthy come alive with witty dialogue and picturesque powerful vivid scene descriptions. Tobias and Hannah's back stories give the reader insight into their persona’s and also tug your heartstrings making you feel their emotions. Loved the romance between Tobias and Hannah as it was genuine, filled with fiery passion and much devotion. Both characters shine in this most entertaining read. If you treasure romance fantasy, this is definitely a fantastic book for your library. {I loved this story so much I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.
