Roger Morneau just got out of the Canadian Merchant Navy. He was very good friends with Roland. Both of them became involved in spirit worshiping. Roger was so close to joining the secret society, and his friend really wanted him to. But God had different plans for Roger. Even though Roger thought that demon worshiping is the way to go, he eventually found out through a coworker the truth about Jesus Christ our Savior. This book tells the story of how Roger walked out of the secret society with his life. Even though it was hard at times, God carried him through victorously. This is a very good book about the power and awesomeness of our God. Leading someone out of the supernatural, who could have been killed by the spirits. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read aobut the power of Gods love and word. Or to someone who is struggling with the supernatural.
An excellent testimony that surely opens your eyes and shows you how hard the demons are working to capture every undecided soul. It also testifies that there are no coincidences in this world.
A must read for everyone who thinks that the Bible is only a "fairy tale"!
Recommended to me by Heather this book was very thought provoking. It had me thinking of things I hadn't thought of for a while, namely the biblical Sabbath being Saturday. Having been brought up in a Seventh-Day Adventist family, I went to an SDA highschool and we had vespers every Friday and church on Saturday. As I got older, I started going to a Sunday church and because I liked it so much I didn't pay much attention to "observing a Sabbath day". But it's interesting how the world has changed the biblical Sabbath to Sunday, having started the change in the Roman Catholic church. But God gave us a day of rest because He knew we'd need a day to be OUT of the world and things of the world and our focus on Him. DEFINITELY a powerful book that has me rethinking some important Christian topics for my Christian walk today. LOVED it!
An excellent personal testimony for opening your eyes to the workings of the dark side without glorifying them, but while glorifying our "Creator-God" and demonstrating that He is bigger, more powerful, loving, and still in control.
An eye-opener. Makes you re-think things that you often take for granted. Especially things/events that seem to happen accidentally or by "coincidence". Definitely a must-read!!
The story is very short jet so literal. It's a confession of a Ex-Satanist Roger Morneau , a former member of Church of Satan , after a strong member of the Seventh-day Adventists Church , who through this short confession describes i'ts way into the world of supernatural, since it's entry into the worship of demons ,to severe exiting .
Questioning the existence of God and introducing Satan himself, his faith is firm and undeniable. Fantastic confession, with terrifying segments.
Do not recommend it to timid and easily frightened people , but I recommend to those who seek and question their faith!
This book is not for the faint of heart, rather, God won't let you finish this book if he knows your faith is weak. This book is a powerful testimony of someone journey into devil worshiping. It is a true eye opener into the world that we live in today.
Just finished the reading of another book during this Sabbath afternoon: "A Trip Into The Supernatural" by Roger J. Morneau. At Roger's young age, he and his close friend Roland used to be involved in demon worship. It is very unfortunate that Roland determined to continue into that secret society, but thank God that Roger was saved by God to leave that society. After I read this book, it confirms more about my understanding regarding the issue of the great controversy between Christ and Satan. It is the same that happening in our lives right now, that our choice to worship the Lord is the safest decision we can make. Let us today make a decision to follow Christ now, for we will never regret it.
The reason I was reading this book is that I am preparing and gathering materials for a coming speaking engagement in one of the local churches in Taiwan. Since I had an experience before in contact with demon possession, the local church pastor invited me to share this matter with the church congregation and to discuss how to deal with this kind of situation when it arises, because that local church is facing some sort of issue that is similar to it. Even though the book "A Trip Into The Supernature" is written in a testimonial manner, it helps me a lot in forming my lecture content.
Please pray for me as I am still preparing and gathering information to share with that local church. I truly recommend this book to everyone who is interested in this topic.
Roger's journey from getting out of the world's hands and into the Father's has been inspiring and encouraging. I could, as I'm sure many can, relate to the distance and sometimes even hatred that Roger felt toward God, because he didn't truly know His character. This book is a real documentation, of a real person, that expresses the many ways our Father is truly there for all of us against anything and that we will find Him when we seek Him with all of our heart. It will stand as one of the many books that shaped a very important part of me; my faith and everlasting trust in Jesus.
after the "Incredible answer of prayers" wanted to get to know more about the system behind the prayer warrior, while in this book got an insight of how he turned back to God and was fully dedicated to it. worth reading to strenghten the belief.
This has the story of my life written all over it. So much here resonates with the experiences one is likely to encounter having sampled almost every aspect of spirituality.
It was so eye opening to the dangers of dealing with occultism! And it really highlights the important foundations of the seventh-day church! God is moving mountains!
Frightening in its implications, ‘A Trip into the Supernatural’ reveals a horror that may be in our very midst. Unseen and unexpected. The reality of which is solidified by the implacable moral honesty of the writer.
Roger Morneau shows his journey from atheism to demonic worship and ultimately to a profound encounter with divine love. "A Trip Into the Supernatural" is not just a personal testimony; it is a powerful evangelistic tool that underscores the importance of spiritual discernment and the hope that can be found in God's love. Morneau's story is a beacon of hope for anyone struggling with spiritual bondage, offering a path to liberation through faith and divine intervention.
Wow, this book had me to the point where I didn't want to put it. When I work got in the way and I took it into December, sigh however, I completed it. Roger reminded me of my current situation spiritually. It also made me question my internal and external habits and to whom do I given my allegiance.
It makes one realize how little they know of the Spiritual warfare over our souls. Satan is no joke in his cleverness but he is definitely terrified of the God who created everything.
It also speaks of religion. Either it will piss you off, make you question everything from start into the present that you were taught, confirms what one knows already, etc.
At the end of it all, you either accept the reality and realness of this book when it comes our daily life choices or you choose to remain in ignorance of the truth.
Choice is yours however there are consequences to your choices.
I really enjoyed this book. As a Seventh-Day Adventist myself, I found it particularly amusing that the evil spirits must yield to the spirits that are sent by our Creator-God. Evil must yield to Good if the person chooses Jesus in Spirit and in truth. That's a wonderful blessing that we have access to through the Son.
His account shows just how real the spirit world is. That Satan himself, wants the very worship that only Creator God deserves. That Satan counterfeits everything that Creator God does, and that we should give no allegiance to him in ANY thing that we do. What Roger Morneau also proved is that even the slightest deviation from Christ, is allegiance to Satan. You can be 99% holy and 1% unrighteous, and in just that 1% you've become a tool for evil spirits. GIVE SATAN NO FOOTHOLD.
To all who do not believe in the Great Controversy nor the war raging for control over your mind, give this book a read. If this one man's experience is worth anything, it's more investigation by the skeptics. Prove that his experience was a hoax. Prove that there is no spirit world -- chances are, that if you take up my challenge, you'll see that it will be proven real by the time you're finished.
Fantastic read, if for nothing else that to see "the other side". This man's journey from that side to the straight and narrow way, is fascinating. You owe it to yourself to go for the ride. God Bless :-)
Review: In a trip into the Supernatural Roger Moreau tells the story in narrative/first person form; of his journey from worshiping spirits to becoming a Seventh-Day Adventist. The back of the book was misleading in that it portrayed that the book would have more scenes like that in it, when really the book was like a bible study for Adventist beliefs, which is fine, but just be aware of this before buying or reading this book.
Roger Moreau talked about himself in a very relatable way however the other characters/people seemed flat, descriptions of them very nominal. In addition when any important event happened I did not feel like I was there right along with the characters/ and or people. Everything just felt very vague.
If you are looking for what Seventh-Day Adventists believe and almost a bible study this is the book for you. If your just looking for a story then I would not recommend this book.
This was a good read. I mean I am extremely familiar with the Bible and some of the truths Roger Morneau discusses yet I really enjoyed this book. I found it quite surprising that such a book has been around for so long and I only just became aware of it's existence. This definitely qualifies as light reading for both Christians and non-Christians. Truths that Create or Enhance Loving Relationships: The Christian Perspective
