This impact biography written on baseball player, Babe Ruth, describes the path he traveled to become famous. George Herman Ruth, later nicknamed Babe, is known for his ability to swing the bat and be a home run hitter. Throughout his life he played for many teams and had many successful seasons. However during his career, which was more than two centuries long, Babe continued to get people to love baseball even during World War I and the Great Depression. He also faced many trying times himself, but he was able to learn from his mistakes and move on. Even after Babe Ruth´s death his baseball legacy continues to live on.

This book was a more of a challenging read but along the way it got easier. It is a book that includes a lot of small details, such as baseball statistics, which made it a little harder to find the important details. I would rate this book a definite 5 out of 5. It gives a lot of information into how the game of baseball has changed because of someone like Babe Ruth. For someone like me who loves the game of baseball, this book taught me that you should never give up even when things get tough.

I think it was a okay book.My only problem was that they did not talk about his personal life. But it did talk about his baseball career with:714 home runs,2214 RBIs, and about 2900 hits.Babe started his career with the Boston Red Sox in 1914 as a pitcher. In 1919 he left the Red Sox and went to the New York Yankees in 1920.In 1921 was his best year with 59 home runs with 168 RBIs.His career was from 1914-1935.He died in 1948.
