The best recording magazine ever. This is a collection pulled from the earlier issues. Great interviews, techniques and recording talk. If you are into recording at all and don't know about TapeOp, get on it now.

If you're into music recording, this book (and the second volume) are indispensable. Tons of fantastic interviews and some interesting projects and ideas. Way fucking better than 'Recording' magazine by ten miles.

danger: this book will make you buy a cassette 4-track. If you already have one, it might make you record pavement and my bloody valentine covers into it for 3 or 4 nights in a row.
