Rain is living the life that most women would kill for. She has more money than she knows what to do with and most of her material possessions are made by designers she can barely pronounce. A girl sitting on top of the world right? Unfortunately for Rain, a very heavy cloud darkens her horizon; the secret that she holds dear, and the fact that her lifestyle comes with an enormous price, which she must pay in pain and self esteem. Trying to strike a balance between the constant violence, and allure of the streets, Rain seeks independence and a happier future.
Considering that I am a hard person to keep the attention of, this book was just right. It drew me in from the first word to the last word and I truly enjoyed reading it. I can't wait to read other books by Chance.
