Such a great story about family, determination, and adventure. A great read for my 5th grader! We loved how the character Jockie never gave up, was a hard worker, and treaded on against all odds.

Part of T's language arts curriculum. It's a fun story of a boy and his horse, his pet crane, and all of his little adventures over about 9 months time.

I read this with my son for school and it has to be one of the most boring books I’ve ever read. 😂 The events really had nothing to do with each other, and we were both bored stiff.
