A strange dragon. A far off land. And a love triangle that will keep you up all night. The veil is sealed for thirty days and Izzy is looking for distractions to help her forget about Aethan. When a strange dragon and rider appear in Eynsford, Izzy and Isla travel with Emerald to another world. There, they discover the mystical city of Millenia; home to to a band of renegade dark faeries, Ubanty and dragons. Unable to return, Izzy is forced to battle pirates, assassins, and the advances of the devastatingly handsome Turos. But at home, the shadow of war is marching across the land. Santanas is back and gathering an army, and Izzy is needed if there is to be any chance at all of defeating the mad war Faery. Please note - Unlike the first two books in The War Faery Trilogy, Faery Revenge contains some sexual content.
Hi there, I’m Donna Joy Usher. I started writing my first novel when I was seven. With no idea about plot or character development (I mean I was only seven) my storyline quickly disintegrated into a muddled jumble of boring dialogue between two horses. Disillusioned, I gave up writing stories for quite a while after that. Instead, I concentrated on my studies, eventually graduating as a dentist.
After many years of ‘drilling and filling’ I turned to writing in an effort to escape the seriousness of my day job. During that time I created my first book, The Seven Steps to Closure, and discovered that I love nothing more than making other people laugh. Well that, and my husband and two miniature schnauzers, Chloe and Xena.
I currently live in beautiful Perth When I am not working or writing, I love to paddle board, walk on the beach and sip chai lattes at the local cafe.

Delightful light romance/para/fighting/family / story
The families of the faery trilogy are just your normal/abnormal family mix of races, cultures and jealousies. With some difference. Isla wants to end a war, subdue a few thousand enemies, seduce a man or two and kill her grandfather. Ho hum... What she does is all of those things, one instinctive act after another. Cute, very cute. No, she can't cook.
Donna Joy Usher has a gift for weaving words that grip and refuse to let go. Faery Revenge is the kind of book that steals time, one moment you’re promising “just one more chapter,” and the next you realize the night has vanished.
The third book in The War Faery Trilogy brings everything to the edge of war while still keeping the heart of the story beating strong. Strange dragons, forbidden lands, dangerous faeries, assassins, pirates, and of course a love triangle that refuses to let you breathe easy, it’s all here.
What I loved most was how the world felt bigger, darker, and more dangerous, yet still carried moments of warmth, wit, and wonder. Izzy’s choices carry real weight, and the tension between heart and duty makes this finale unforgettable.
Donna doesn’t just write fantasy; she crafts realms you can lose yourself in. This is a series worth every page.
Oh man! This whole series was an emotional roller-coaster! I felt what Izzy felt: the joy, the sadness, the pain and anguish, the hope and love, etc. I loved this ending! Although, I felt the way that they finally defeated Santanas was a bit anti-climatic, but the message behind it was good. The love triangle was crazy to watch (and a bit fun to watch the boys be all jealous :P) and I am so happy with whom she chose. It fit perfectly. The author did warn that there was sexual content and there were some innuendos, almost sex scenes, and a full on scene. I skipped what I didn't want to read and that worked for me. A good read.
Loved this trilogy from the start. Very sad to see it end. Spin off maybe???? Lots of action and the love triangle kept you guessing. No dislike for any of the characters. Seabrook on a life of their own! Hard feat to accomplish, I believe. Donna Joy Usher never disappoints. Look forward to more of her work.
This is a very good book. It's the last one of the series unless the author writes another one. Lots of action, friendships, magic, dragons, fae, witches and all kinds of magical beings. Great story line and fantastic characters. So grab your copy and enjoy reading.
I love this series. I never could completely finish a series all the way to the end. They always became predictable. Although I did see some predictability in this series, the excellent writing and story kept me hooked.
This book was beautiful. It was exciting and kept you on your toes. It was full of action and love. But most importantly it touched on some really deep themes of life, love and peace. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and highly recommend it!
Easy read with fae and other otherworldly beings. Was different, good characters, good world building, with action, magic and romance. Had a few misspellings but still a good read.
This series was really enjoyable. Loved all the characters and relationships and development. Really wish there was a spin-off or two to learn more about what happened to the support characters and their stories. Or, even a prequel about the fall of Santanas.
Overall, i really enjoyed this series. However, as this is aimed at being a young adult, it is mostly p.g, until he's sucking her nips or the point where he's sliding into her even if it is the most descriptive it gets fir this book.
I’m glad I finished the series, but it’s not my typical read. Very YA and not a lot of spice. There was tension, but not the good stuff. I also wasn’t a fan of her choice. I woulda picked the other guy 🤷🏻♀️ overall though it was cutesy.
A terrific ending for this trilogy, filled with both fast paced action and a range of emotion and exploring themes of love and hope in the face of darkness.
This book made me laugh, grin like a mad person, and put me on the edge of my seat. I was terrified for some of the characters, I had tears in my eyes, and I actually felt like I was looping the loop on the back of a dragon. THIS is what you call an epic, blockbuster end to a story.
The only downside - for me - was that it was a wee bit too long. Just a teensy bit overemphasis on 'the boys'. (I'm ducking, waiting for the bricks getting thrown at me...)
I so love the humour in Donna's books, and she certainly hasn't let us down. All the characters are there - yes, ALL the ones you fell in love with over the previous two books! I'm not going to spoil anyone's enjoyment of this, so get stuck in, it's fabulous.
I know this is the end of the trilogy, but I sincerely hope this is not the last we see of Izzy and her friends (and enemies).
