Adult and child readers will learn all about cats together in this new co-reader from National Geographic Kids! From house cats to big cats, readers will learn all about their favorite furry felines. Co-readers are designed to be read aloud together, with one page for the child who is learning to read and the adjacent page for a parent, caregiver, older sibling, buddy, or other more fluent reader.
some cats are tame and some cats can be wild. Tame cats are house cats and people-friendly. There are 36 different types of wild cats that live in Australia, Antartica, and even on some islands. Cats use their tails to balance themselfs and they almost always land on their feet. Their whiskers are also very helpfuk to them they use them how to see through the dark.
A good overview for kids and a balanced book that has pages for early readers and pages for advanced readers/adults. The cover photo is of domestic cats, but this book includes wild cats and how they and domestic cats are different and similar.
the pictures in this are super cute and the info is great. I really love how they ask questions along the way to be more engaging super great for kiddos and kiddos at heart :)
This is an entirely adequate intro book about cats. It has nice photographs featuring a variety of wild cat species. The you-read-I-read setup works. It’s fine.
