This book was well-written with succinct chapters that you can get thru quickly. There are good lessons to be found, religious or not. One of my favorite quotes that brought me peace and acceptance was, "Have patience and courage. Do your work, be faithful to prayer, to your daily duties." Most of us are always looking for more... the meaning to life, the next big thing, etc. But maybe it is in the minutia that we find ourselves and bring meaning to others.

i liked this book. the takes on the parables presented are fresh and thought-provoking.
