About the author

When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail.
Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.

Killer clowns, evil spirits, vampires, you name it, this band of paranormal hunters disguised as a traveling circus will take it on. The love interest is between 2nd in command Poet (a psychic) and the new head of security (Kade). There's a lot of drama around secrets in these first three books. The genre is a "cozy" mystery - not too violent or heavy, with lots of light romantic stuff to balance out any heavy parts. This author specializes in paranormal cozies, and she writes well.

Adventure, family, and a little bit of magic.

I loved these stories. The fact that it's about people who are so different from the norm and the way they work together to make the world a better place. I enjoyed the supernatural gifts and the fact that all these people can work together even during trying and dangerous times.

Strong females kicking butt is also a good thing. I love the fact that they love each other like family makes the books great.

I enjoy reading Amanda Lee's books. I am enjoying this series and like being able to read them in groupings. I like the description of these characters as I can picture them as part of a circus from my childhood. The paranormal part of the stories adds an interesting twist and the mix of normal and paranormal people working together for a common good.

This was so much fun to read. Amanda M Lee has just tapped into my quirky side with my romantic side and my inquisitive side. This was my first exposure to the Mystic Caravan. I feel like I couldn't read fast enough. I am thinking there is something up with Percival though.... it's coming. I am on to the next 3 and can't wait!!

Supernatural fantasy

The Mystic Caravan Circus is not your typical circus, they are a group of paranormal and humans who hunt evil as they travel and perform. Max is the owner and he rescued a young girl named Poet who is now his second in command. She is part romani and a psychic.

Fresh And very fast paced... evil doers beware, the circus is in twin tho clean up... I am totally engaged with the characters and the circus set. What a fun, place to spend time..

Evil Monster Hunters

Love this series. A traveling carnival with real witches, psychics, shifters, and pixies. And they not only hunt for evil beings, they actively call evil to the carnival to eradicate it. Awesome, freaky, goodness.

Not what I expected. Very cool stories

I was nervous because the cover pictures scared me honestly but the stories are paranormal mysteries just like the other books. I love how the characters are realistic and complex. No one is one thing.

If it’s written by Amanda M Lee, just read it. She’s funny, snarky, and you don’t have to be a genius to enjoy it but you will also enjoy it after your acceptance to Mensa.
