Mareka Cavannaugh, a girl whose life is seemingly going nowhere, meets R.K. Webber, an aging ex-author and widower who has lost his muse and feels his life is over. From the interior of an indoor putt-putt golf course in the "big-small" town of Solemn, Georgia to the streets of London, England, the two show one another that life is full of joy, surprises, and... overall... purpose.

About the author

Hello, my name is Shane Ramey and I hail from Lawrenceville, Georgia. I have recently published my first novel, The Putt-Putt, and I am excited to share what I think is a beautiful story of friendship and hope with all of you. Along with writing, I enjoy photography, and am of course a life-long reader myself. I feel blessed to have been born with a runaway imagination, and equally blessed to have been taught to have an open mind and open heart, all of which has led me to writing this story about the inhabitants of the fictional town of Solemn. My next story, December On Narrow Street, is already in the works.
