A lot of nice accessible practical advice here on having a good mindset which comes from the author's experience trying to master the psychological side of playing professional football. The anecdotes in this book serve a purpose of explaining the advice rather than being an old pro wanting to tell stories for the sake of it.

Also discusses the difficulties which professionals experience when coming to terms with the end of their careers / dealing with decline in their sporting capabilities.
