Freebie book after signing up for author's newsletter.
1. Glad this was a freebie.
2. Heroine is kidnapped & within 24 hours she's flirting with her kidnappers. She has no clue who survived or didn't survive the shoot out at her parent's house during this time.
3. 24 hours later she's taking a shower, while they're watching her & then has sex with them. Because that's totally normal?
4. Her father finally responds to their demands & once they're at the exchange point, he tries to kill them...and she tells him she's pregnant with their baby. (This is 4 days after she was kidnapped, 2 days after she first had sex with them.)
5. Father disowns her and leaves her with them. Two weeks later she finds out she really is pregnant and they ask her to marry them.
6. Pure fluff, made me roll my eyes several while reading it.

Big fat DNF at 22%
I read another review before reading this, thinking hey people have been wrong before. But no. This was rubbish. It was too rushed, with common sense flying out the window. I mean really. The first thing I'm going to notice about someone pulling a gun on me is not how hot he is. And I'm certainly not going to flirt with my kidnappers. It just doesn't make a lick of sense. But whatever.
Don't read it. It's just not very good.

Valeria Nero is the daughter of one of the biggest mafia families, and she is considered an old maid because she is 23 and unmarried. Her father wants her to marry someone who will make a strong alliance with his family. They are having a Christmas party, and while Valeria is in the kitchen she hears gunfire and she grabs the cook Lucia, who has been more like a mother to her than her own mother. She heads them for the panic room which is in the other end of the house. Before they get there, two of the rival Diamante family have guns aimed at their backs. When they find out Valeria is Nero's daughter, they take her and throw her in one of the SUVs and drive for over four hours. She has no Idea where she is Accept that it is on the beach and it is a mansion.
She gets locked in a pretty room with a half bath. Her guards are the guys that kidnapped her, Colt and Dante. She finds them incredibly sexy and flirts with them. On the third day of her kidnapping she begs them to let her take a shower and they take her to a huge bathroom and lock themselves in with her, telling her they have to make sure she doesn't escape and that they won't watch her shower. She asks them to unzip her and she takes off everything and gets in the giant shower that is already steam covered. They both enter the shower naked with huge members and tell her it is not nice to tease and that they do everything together.
They have sex every night until it is time to return her to her family. There is a double cross and she throws herself in front of her lovers when her father is going to kill them, and she tells her father that she is having their baby. What is going to happen to the three of them since they are from different families? will they die, will her father take her home, or will they all live happily ever after? Remember this is the Mafia we are talking about here.

I really didn't like it. The story felt rushed. I felt like there wasn't any bonding between the characters. She spent more of her time alone, locked in a room. And they basically came to her at night to have sex. There was no getting to know each other. But all of a sudden they are madly in love. It just felt every rushed, I know it was a short story. But it was missing that falling in love moments. Epilogue was good, it gave you a look into their future together.

Well, it was ok. Just, ok. It was free, it was short, it was full of sex. It felt like there should have been twice as many chapters. An incomplete story. There really isn't much to the plot or the characters' backgrounds. You get just enough so you know who everyone is, and what is going on. In my opinion, this was lacking development and purpose. I've read worse, but I did not find any real substance here.

This quick novella was hot & steamy with an okay story. A mafia romance of 3 is the idea behind this book. Kidnapping the daughter of a rival family can get you killed. Dante & Colt are in trouble but they don't care because the kidnapping led them to Valeria. Now Valeria has to hope that she can keep them alive.
