Frost Bite: Cannibal in the Forest

Rate this book
"'Let's go to my uncles cabin,' he said. 'It'll be fun,' he said. 'We won't get killed by a blood-thirsty monster in the woods,' he said."

When Jason brings his friends, Shawn and Maria, to his uncle's log cabin over winter break, he had no idea of the nightmare that would ensue. Lost, stranded without food or supplies, will any of them make it out alive? Will they succumb to the cold? Their hunger? Or each other?

Or maybe, the thing in the woods?

4.5/5
This was a very fast paced and gruesome story. I loved it! The gory descriptions were very detailed and I could vividly picture what was going on. My only gripe with it is that there are a number of grammar and spelling errors. If those were fixed, then it would easily be a 5/5 for me!

A fast paced exciting read. This story had wonderfully detailed descriptions. And bunch of gory and brutal attack scenes.

3 teens caught in a blizzard, hunted by an ancient legend with a terrible appetite. N. J. Hanson delivers the bone-crunching effects and scenery description well for a short story. Could use more character development for the 5 star rating, but still a good read. Just not when you're alone in a cabin...
