Alone is a serial short story which follows a woman who had been frozen in ice for thousands of years. This is her journey to find out what happened. Along the way, she will meet brave allies, unusual and magical creatures, dangerous beasts, legendary monsters, and evil enemies as she travels and learns about the world in which she awoke, with the hope that one day she can fill the emptiness that is in her heart, and to answer the question if she is, truly, alone

Hugo C. Bygott grew up in Cambridge, England. His love for reading came when he picked up his first fantasy epic, ‘Magician’ by Raymond E. Feist, followed by Robert Jordan’s ‘Wheel of Time’ series. He has traveled the world and for the last few years lived in Tokyo, Japan. The Ascended books are the first he has written.
