Flirt (A Carlton University Novella) is by Natalie Rios. Natalie is a new to me author and I’ve had this little novella on my radar for awhile now. Good gosh almighty, I loved it and I’m hooked.

Veronica Sanders is a college student and had been in a long term relationship with a fellow student but it ended badly. During the relationship, though, Veronica had many ideas of how they could spice up their sex life but her boyfriend was most definitely not game. They’ve been broken up for a year now and Veronica has not dated. She is a nerdy, smart, buttoned up type of girl and perhaps has lost her confidence where the opposite sex is concerned.

Her roommate and best friend convinces her to use an app that instead of making matches for love, they match for sexual compatibility. It’s an app for hooking up, called Flirt. Veronica can’t stop thinking about giving it a try, so she finally does it. It’s time for her first hook up and who shows up but her roommate’s older, very sexy brother and college quarterback, Cam.



Cam Schmidt has had a thing for his sister’s roommate ever since he first met her. But she was in a relationship at the time. So he waited. Then she was in bad shape over the break up. So he waited again. Now here she was standing in front of him expecting to hook up with a stranger. No way was that going to happen.

Cam thought Veronica was irresistible, even in her usual attire of buttoned up cardigan sweaters. But when he gets her to look him in the eye and tell him what she really wants, holy cow, he likes this version of her even better.



These two together were amazingly, boiling hot! Cam is a take control kind of guy and it’s adorable the way Veronica will just blurt something out. This was such a fun, steamy story and I loved it like crazy. I see that the next book in the series is Veronica’s roommate Allie’s story. I’m not sure if it’s out yet but I want, want, want to read it.

Hot, sexy, funny, and sweeeeeeeet!!

This was my first read from this author and I’m very happy to report that it was a winner for me! It was such a pleasant surprise to come across this lovely book with an engaging story that held my interest throughout, two adorable main characters that very enjoyable to read about, and a romance that was scorching hot, so much so that I could literally feel the heat coming off the pages.

One of my most favorite romance tropes is unrequited love. I love, love, love, love it when the hero has got it bad for the heroine for years, but for whatever reason, he has to keep it to himself. Aww...it's superbly romantic—absolutely my kryptonite! And Cameron, this book’s hero, is no exception. He had a secret crush on Veronica ever since he first met her, but unfortunately, she was already in a relationship with someone else. Things got even more interesting after she broke up with her boyfriend. When Cam found out that she joined the app Flirt in hopes of getting a better opportunity to meet guys and hook up with them, there was no way in hell he would let that happen.

If she was looking for someone to fulfill her sexual fantasies, then why couldn’t it be him? And now, he was on a mission to make her naughty dreams come true, and of course, make her his… forever.

I couldn't help but fall in love with Cam! He's so precious, truly amazing! He cared about what she wanted and never judged her. All he wanted was to take care of her and give her pleasure—lots of pleasure. Ooh, I want this man all to myself. Well, Cameron is officially my book boyfriend! *loves*

I have to say that I’m not a fan of nerdy/shy/awkward heroines. I often find them more annoying than endearing. But for some unexplained reason, I never once got irritated with Veronica’s shyness no matter how much she actively avoided eye contact with Cam. Well, this came as a big surprise to me, I can tell.

Another good thing about this book is that there was no stupid drama. I usually find that drama-free stories either end up too boring or too cheesy for me, but in this case, I found the story very entertaining and well composed. Sometimes it just feels good to read a book with no nonsense.

This book captured me with a fantastic blend of sweet treats, sexy romance, and delicious humor. I didn't expect much from it but was just given so much in return. Oh, I can’t praise it enough! Now I’m thrilled to read the next book in this series!

Bastante cortito y se lee súper rápido, la sinopsis es tentadora y creo que la trama tenía potencial para ser uno de esos libros que se pueden disfrutar bastante, pero al ser tan chiquito no da para desarrollar una gran trama, pero me sirvió para despejarme tantito de los Dark Hunters digo tantito porque le.voy a seguir 😅😅😅😉😉

Pues dos tres... se lee en un suspiro. La historia no es nada del otro mundo y todo pasa sin sobresaltos. Es muy corto así que ese puede ser el motivo.

No es un mal libro pero me faltó que me contaran más la historia.

Kurang panjang, karena novella doang.. 0.5 deh, mustinya sebelum baca Player tu baca ini dulu, Player dimulai dr ending novel ini.. Theo si Draco ude keluar si, kl Allie kan emang roommate nya Veronica. Ini si Cameron kakaknya Lia, yg disebelin Theo karena manggil Allie Allison kwkwkwkw

Dan Cam terang2an gak bolehin Allie sama Theo, kr kan Cam ude kaya kakaknya Allie gitu, dan pas Allie dipanggil Cam "we need talk!" adeknya si Lia dgn kurang ajarnya bilang saat nya Allie ngadep principal (nama belakang Cam yg susah diinget itu) kwkwkwkkwkwkw

A really fun and sexy novella!!

The facts are these: Flirt says we’re a match. I’ve wanted her for a while now. But she’s my little sister’s best friend and possibly still vulnerable from her break up with the douche.

I love the best friend’s brother/sister trope and I’m glad that this one was so great. It’s not often that you get to read a novella that’s really interesting and with sufficient plot development, and I’m glad to say that I really enjoyed this. I loved Veronica and Cam and the chemistry between them, and the sexy times were hot and the romance sweet. I also really liked the secondary characters and I really can’t wait to read the next book about Allie and Theo.

“I should know better than to judge a book by its cover.” With that, I drop my shorts. “Why don’t you come over here and show me exactly what type of girl you are?”

This was my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. A must read for all readers who are in need of a short sexy novella.

Veronica salió de una relación que la hacía sentir extraña con su sexualidad, a tal grado que ha decidido probar la aplicación que su mejor amiga ha utilizado un par de veces para tener un encuentro casual. La idea va bien hasta que el chico que se presenta a su cita es Cam, el hermano de dicha amiga.

Cam ha querido a Veronica desde la primera vez que la vio, desfortunadamente, en ese momento ella estaba en una relación, y cuando esta terminó, parecía no ser el momento adecuado, así que decidió darle un poco de tiempo y espacio. Sin embargo, lo que Cam no se esperaba es que ella utilizara la misma aplicación que él y ahora es su cita.

Para Cam esta es una oportunidad para tener a Veronica como siempre ha querido y hará todo lo necesario para que ella lo acepte.

No tengo mucho que decir con respecto a este libro, fue corto, un poco divertido y directo al grano.

Si soy muy honesta, Cam y Veronica no era una pareja por la que estuviera interesada en leer, pero dado que me encontraba con la mente en el primer tomo de Calton University, pensé que sería buena idea terminar de sumergirme y terminar con Flirt antes de que olvidara por completo de qué iba la cosa.

El aspecto que más me gustó fue que Cam ayuda a Veronica a sentirse cómoda con su sexualidad y le hace sentir como se supone un relación física debe ser, pero fuera de eso no hay más nada.

I received this book as a free read offer and I must say although College romance is not my love this was really cute and refreshing.

I love the awkward nerdy girl who doesn't know her own beauty and that she attracted the hunk of the school. Yeah I'm a big fan of the underdog getting her own bit of sunshine and mix that in with some really fun and refreshing writing and you got a hit.

This is a sexy mix of awkward and hot with a side of funny as heck. I love the main h character who, although is supposed to be in a funk and basically a social misfit, is strong and stand up and boy do they get into some funny situations. I couldn't stop laughing at the misplaced condom or the sneaking around when clearly it was obvious something was going on. Our H is just too romantic and protective and wrapped in a young hot guy just seals the deal.

So guys it's a short read but it checks all my boxes for a good time, its funny and has you cracking up with a hot and spicy side. The characters are really likable and truth be told although I read it within a day it was a day well spent.

Natalie Rios is new to me and I will keep her on my shelf. Thanks Ms Rios for giving what I needed... a good laugh with some spicy bits!!!

I really liked this story. Veronica, or V for short, has taken a year to get over a rough breakup with her former boyfriend. He couldn't "handle" V's need for variety in the bedroom so V's roommate Lia convinces her to try a new app for college kids called Flirt. Flirt is a combo of eharmony and tinder rolled into one. You have fill out a looonngg application explaining you wants, needs, desires, and fantasies and the app will match you with a compatible person only you don't get to see them before you meet up. Of course, after weeks of stalling V finally signs up and who would her first meetup be, but none other than Lia's ultimate hot older brother Cameron. Cameron is the total package and then some AND he just happens think V is smoking hot as well. So all that's left is for these two to hook up no string attached right?? What could possibly go wrong? Well a shy girl, a sexually demanding guy, and a misplaced condom leads this into an awesome short read that I really enjoyed. very quick read but not so quick that it feels rushed or undeveloped. We can only dream of being the shy girl that gets the quarterback😘

Very small enjoyable book.
This book is about V and Cam. V decides to join an app that works like Tinder but for campus, and she is paired up with Cam (her best friend's brother). Secretly they are both attracted to each other but they never persuit anything because of his sister and V's attachment to somebody else at the time. Long story short, they decide to have sex and they end up dating. The end.
P.S. V's change of moods gave me wiplash. I was ready to 3 star this book until Cam had the same feeling as I had round about in the middle of the book and told V about it. Then she stoped and everything was well.

I loved it! Veronica decides to try out "flirt" for a hook up and wouldn't you know she meets her best friends older brother! Cam is a perfect 10! Quarterback, hot & sweet & considerate but, not for her!
Natalie does a terrific job of describing the characters and area. She also, draws you into the story so, you feel like you are right there.

I would definitely recommend this novelette and put it on your to read shelf immediately!

1st read written by: Natalie Rios ... I enjoyed it. If you enjoy college related love/romance stories this will be one for you. I love the characters, it is pretty light-hearted. not a heavy read. I will be hoping to read more from Natalie very very soon. I have heard of folks (friends) who have dated their friends' older brothers ... I can not imagine it happening in my life or situation ... 'cause most brothers I knew were all so goofy or weird. But it was a great take or thought for a story line. Check it out! (I don't even see this title on Amazon, to review it there? weird? Is this a special addition or novella or something ?) ( ;

Oh my, this book was so good. Short and sweet and totally worth reading. Even though it's short, your not left wondering about anything. Well except for what really happened to, V's roommate, Allie's shirt which will be in the next book!! This book was about V and Cam,aka the shy girl and the jock which I loved. You don't get too many stories about a shy girl.

Short and dirty read about a girl who enjoys sex but grew to be ashamed of it by a sexually incompatible ex.
A bit dirty on the words (F’s and such) and a bit cliché (hot jock and shy-girl-who-happens-to-be-attractive), but good to get your horny juices flowing.
