One day, Itsuka Shido has a fever. Because of that, Shido develops irregular abilities. These various abilities are things like having a very fast speed and an abnormally strong grip power. Then, Shido somehow becomes a play boy. To seal his abilities, it is essential that the spirits need to kiss him. However, this fun event quickly becomes a dangerous situation?!
Well, sort of like that, it has a pretty busy mood, huh? Because of that, there a lot of fun and serious developments. In the middle of these events, the spirits' personalities are gradually emphasized. As a result, there are a lot events that have fans' favorite characters. Since there are a lot of spirits, there are few boring developments. If you are interested, please check it out!
This time the roles are reversed. Shiro is in trouble and to be saved the girls have to make his heart miss a few beats. There have been worse excuses for a beach episode, and seeing Shiro act as the suave guy with most of the women in his life (including some of the non-spirits) was certainly funny. It did end with raising more questions about who Shiro (and his real family) is and what exactly the antagonists want, and this lack of understanding (and in all fairness the MC doesn't know either) is a bit frustrating. Still for the most part it is a bit of a funny intermezzo, a breather after the drama of the previous volumes and I really enjoyed it even if it came (not unexpected) with an overdose of cringe.
Phewwww. Blitzed through this in one day, and it cause I really enjoyed it. The main character finally showed some character development, granted he was "sick," but I do hope some maturity sticks with him. This story is good. It's just a whiney, scared protag can only carry you so far. High 4 out of 5 stars.
