Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.

The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.

At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.

But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.

Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.

Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).

After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.

Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.

She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.

Unseen enemy...

Everything erupts into chaos after Devon stabs Rae. It seems there's an enemy in their midst; one that's been pulling the strings all along. Rae knows exactly who it is and she's determined to stop her. However, it may prove to be too great a feat for even Rae Kerrigan.
This book was nail biting to the very end! I'm screaming for the next installment! My heart pounded in my chest in every scene; waiting for what was around the corner. W.J. May never disappoints! This series is by far one of my favorites! It's worth every penny. If you haven't read her work, I suggest starting with the box set and going from there. I have yet to read anything that wasn't worthy of a 5 star rating. W. J. May sucks you into her world to the point where you can't stop thinking about the book, long after you've finished. I can't wait for the next book...The ending left my mouth hanging open.

WOW. Devon stabs Rae, Angel freezes Gabriel, Fodder tries to beat up his own son, Beth tries to burn everyone in the vicinity and Simon saves them all, and that is the first few pages. This book is fast paced the whole way through and lovely little Samantha is to blame....

Just keeps getting better and better.

This book, wow

This particular book has been the most devastating one of them all. I cried in the beginning, middle and was even more heartbroken at the end. I love it, it takes a real good author to bring you along on the emotional journey, now let's fix it, so glad I don't have to wait for the next book.

Interesting

I like the mind game in this book, the literal mind game, ;) it’s intriguing and captivating. I’m really interested to see how Samantha’s plot unravels and to find out where her harsh resentment derived from. I feel as if there’s more than just Simons mistreatmentb of her father, but we’ll see.

Just when they though it couldn't....

Any worse they got a surprise that none of them were ready for. Samantha was way worse then Cromfield. She had a Tatu that could control and change your thoughts. If you haven't read any of the series join in the funeral.

Great book like always

I love the kerrigan chronicles books every one of them, the only problem that I see is that every book has less pages write on them. The first books was 26 chapters and this one is only 18, only 150 pages we are 3000 pages short from the 1st.

Some of your favorites and not so favorites return for the continuation of the kerrigan series. I love this narrator. I'm tired of simon Kerrigan but am happy to continue the journey with the gang.

Oh so messed up

Oh that young girl is so messed up.
But then again, look how she came about and you can sort of understand.
What I can't understand is why she's blaming Rae for it all?

Good Read

Disappointed it was too short and only 1 epic battle scene. Good characters, good story, action and romance. Truly needs to edit these books the mistakes are annoying.
