I'll give him my body. I'll bear his baby. But I won't fall in love.
SARA Ever since my parents lost everything, I've been dreaming of building a brand new future.
Danny Reynolds says if I have his baby, he'll give me enough money to start over again. Sounds simple, but he's not a simple man.
He's rugged, tough, and a long-standing member of the Fallen Knights MC. I knew at a glance that sleeping with him would change everything.
But I did it anyways.
Now I have what I thought I wanted – I'm pregnant with his child. So why isn’t it enough?
Why do I want Danny, too?
DANNY The last thing I need is a baby. But it was my dad's dying wish and the only way to get my inheritance. Fine. I'll find some woman to have my kid. But I will not settle down.
I've got my life with the Fallen Knights. I don't need distractions. I just need solutions.
Sara Taylor seems perfect for the job. She thinks she's too good for the likes of me, which means she won't try to get too close.
The problem is, I can’t stop thinking about our nights together. Her body, in my arms. I’m not right for her in any way, shape, or form. So why am I not satisfied? Why do I keep craving more?
I bought her body. But I won’t leave until I’ve claimed her heart and soul.
BEARING HIS BABY: Fallen Knights MC is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, no cheating, strong language, a happily ever after ending, and no cliffhangers. Contains dark and disturbing themes that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
Nicole Fox writes smart, sexy mafia romance novels. She is a crazy cat lady in her late 30s with a coffee addiction, an overactive imagination, and a husband who somehow puts up with her impulsive need to keep buying new plants for their house.
This was not bad. Sara and Danny were both occasionally dense about things. They came together in a completely unbelievable way, but not so skeevy that it ruined the story. Unfortunately most of their time together was having sex, so I had a little trouble with it turning to love with very little time spent outside the bedroom. There was maybe too much sex. I hate to say that but I think we could have had a scene or two less in favor of some romance. I liked the secondary characters. Would be interested in reading more. Very low angst and safe.
This story line revolves around a biker and a women he meets and the deal they strike to get pregnant to secure a trust fund after the bikers father dies. When reading a biker romance you expect alpha, hot sex, mixed with possessiveness and street smarts. Whilst the sex "scenes" were good, it could have been hotter, wilder. The book hints in one chapter there was a snitch in the biker group but fails to address it further leaving that wide open. Also, they didn't have a safe compound and really didn't seem to have any idea on how to keep their families safe, leaving them in a ratty home or a unlocked empty warehouse didn't sit right with me. Whilst it was well written and sweet it would be a great book if it had more " meat" in it. More gritty biker savvy smart sexiness.
This was a great read. It was full of surprises and action. Danny is a biker that needs to find a woman to have a kid With. All because he thinks his old man screwed him and his mom over. Sara is looking for a job when her life changes for the better. Sara has had a bad up bringing and has been alone for awhile that when she starts having feelings for Danny she's not quite sure on how to act on them. I loved the storyline and plot. Like I said before this was a great read.
I dunno if Fallen Knights MC is some kind of a books as series but anyway, this is the first time and the first book that I read about them and about bikers. It took me some time to finish this book. I think it's because there are some parts wherein I lost the connection with the characters. I'm also hoping for a scene with the baby before it ended but I still like the ending. Overall, 3 out of 5 stars.
I did not care to much for this book ,but I gave 3 stars because I would like to see if the writer could do a better job with another story line. I had big problems with both Sara's & Danny's ambivalence about creating and loving and caring for a child.
2.5 stars It wasn't bad. But not something I would read again. I actually regret reading It little bit. There was just too much sex and almost no romance, It also Felt like There were too many club moments But what i hated the most was how the book was written. It was written from the narrator's point of view🙃. I know i know some People like it i just can't Stand it.
As I start reading a book from a new author that I have never read before, you never know what kind of adventure you will be taken on. You are coming into it blindly and I will have to say that I was sucked into the story. I really enjoyed it. I loved the cover of the book. The way the word BABY and the teddy bear was in red was really eye catching.
I have really gotten into the MC book and you just never know how the motorcycle gangs will be. I have to say that the Fallen Knights MC was pretty tame and know how to take care of their own. I have fallen in love with this biker group and I hope I will get to hear more from them in the future.
The characters Sara Taylor and Danny Reynolds had a great chemistry. I really enjoyed finding out about their lives. They both have secrets about their families and want different things. I have to say that Danny sounds like one hot alpha male. One I would want to have for myself. They have some ups and downs and there for awhile I didn't think they would make it. I was pleasantly surprised with how the story went. The only thing is the ending. I felt that there should be more. I hope that we will hear more about these two and see how things go.
I really loved the sexual connection between Danny and Sara. This book kept me interested in reading. I enjoyed the storyline between Danny, Sara, family and club family. It shows you that love can win out in the end especially when you least expect it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I'm giving this book 3.5 stars because it had so much promise . I felt like the only reason this was an MC book was to have something for the bad guy to have against Danny. There were some other things that I thought the author could have done to add & improve the story but otherwise It was a good read.
If you LOVE a good MC book then you need to read this. Couldn't put the dang thing down once I started to read it. THAT'S HOW AWESOME IT WAS!!! A must read!
Sara is in a desperate situation. She needs a job badly. In such a small town her choices are limited and with no hope she finds herself at the worst biker bar in the area. This option is still better than her last option which would be the strip-club.
Danny is part owner of The Old Crow and he has problems of his own. His brother is missing, his mother is ill and his recently deceased father has made it nearly impossible for Danny to get his hands on his inheritance. Danny's father was the head of the Fallen Knight's MC and has money and ownership in various businesses around town. He has left this all to Danny in a trust, and Danny could have it all on one condition. Danny has no interest in any money, but he needs it for the care of his mother.
Sara is still at The Old Crow thinking on her messed up life, sucky parents, and the fact that she is so desperate for money, stripping is her only hope. That is until Danny offers her another option. They strike a deal that will be beneficial to them both and agree to part ways and go on with their own lives afterwards.
Danny is 100% dedicated to the Fallen Knights and his family. He has no time or interest in anything else until little by little Sara starts worming her way into his head. He has things he needs to take care of concerning his family and doesn't need the distraction that Sara is becoming. He is confused with the way he is feeling and is a jerk because of it. All he has ever needed is his MC brothers and his family and it's a struggle for him to realize what Sara actually means to him.
Sara knows Danny is not the man for her, but she can't help the way she feels either. She really doesn't want to be involved with a man that is so dedicated to his MC and seems to be a dangerous man. Her fears are confirmed when she finds herself in the middle of a situation with a rival MC.
Danny and Sara started out in an unconventional way, but as they go thru their ups-and-downs, it's obvious they quickly develop feelings for each other. This is a steamy read, with some suspense and action.
I really liked this story, Danny and Sarah began their relationship for business purposes but soon fell for each other. The flow of the story was right on target. Hope to read more about the club and would enjoy a book about Jeb. Would have liked an epilog to see the birth of the baby.
