This is my favorite collection of poetry that I own. It has great classics like Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost, Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day by William Shakespeare, and The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. It also has a few you might not have read yet! It has a only a small selection of women poets, but the collection is still great, nonetheless. I find myself picking this up again and again to read a few poems. It is also categorized by theme rather than author or time period, which I absolutely love! Sometimes I just want to read about nature, while sometimes I just want to read about love. The ability to read by theme is what really makes this collection superb. If you happen to get your hands on it, I hope you'll cherish it as I do.

From time to time I pick this up and have a read through a few of the poems within it. Often it is to inspire some sentiments about the loss of a loved one in my family or circle of friends.
I have never read every poem, or the book itself entirely in the twenty years I have now had it...almost to the day at this point of writing!
