D.S. “Dee” Wrights was born 29th March 1980 in Germany. Her name is a pen name, and she describes writing as her passion and calling. Dee speaks three languages fluently, English, German and Dutch, and some other rudimentary.
Although she started writing at an early age and two short stories were published during high school, one as a school project and one in a regional newsletter – Dee never dared of thinking to pursue a writing career. Until she started writing fanfiction and readers encouraged her to publish The Beast And Me as an ebook in May 2014.
Dee worked at a publishing house at which she earned insight into the work, process, and production of publishing books. That was the reason why she chose to do all the work herself, apart from proofreading.
When talking about her novels, Dee explains that she loves to dive into the mindset of different characters, especially those of villains and anti-heroes. However, in addition to that, she enjoys writing women who start off as weak and grow through their experiences in her books and end up being their own hero.

The question "Why do you want to be my friend?" is meant seriously. If you have more friends than books, or your answer doesn't tell me anything, I most likely won't accept the request.

Heir (Howl #3) by D.S. Wrights & Lilith Dark D.S. Wrights and Lilith Dark did an amazing job with the third book to the HOWL series, HEIR.  HEIR takes place where book two, HUNT leaves off.  Liala and Rick are on the run from the hunters and making their way to the werewolf estate.  This contemporary paranormal/horror/erotica story is suitable for adult audiences.

I like that the characters are complex.  Liala grows tremendously throughout this series, in a short amount on time.  I love that she embraces her situation and goes with it.  I appreciate that she is open minded.  We discover a lot about Rick. He has an interesting past and heritage.  Nate is a thought-provoking wildcard that you are not certain how will play out.  Each character is very different and dynamic.

Once again, I enjoyed the plot.  HEIR was not as dark as the previous books.  There were multiple twists.  The conflicts were well-resolved.  The story was fast paced.  The epilogue was skillfully written, feeling well concluded.  At 98-pages, it was a quick read that I easily finished the same day.  D.S. Wrights and Lilith Dark make a great writing duo.  I would read additional books by them in the future.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Heir is the third & final installment in this series (though I'm hoping to see more from this clan of Shifters in the future).

After everything Liala has endured she is going to have to dig deep to find an inner strength & trust her Instinct to trust the people she really shouldn't.

The perfect conclusion to this dark, twisted series.

I've been reading these books since the first in the series, and they keep getting better. I love how the authors intertwine paranormal with the erotic scenes. This book picks up right were Hunt leaves off by Liala and Rick escaping the Hunters while Nate just lets them escape. Liala doesn't know what to make of Rick yet, all she knows that he is helping her escape. She has to make a decision- blindly trust Rick that he will help her get back to her family and protect them from the Hunters. Once she gets back to her family she has yet another decision to make, follow her mother and send all the half breeds to their death or step up to her rightful place as being the Alpha. Heartache ensues when she has to make the difficult decision... Will she finally take a mate? Who will it be Rick or Nate?

This was my favorite of the 3 books in the series. Circumstances and events seemed to fall into place and the pace of the story was perfect, in my opinion.
Questions were answered, characters showed their strength and their purposes were made clear.
A wonderful paranormal story from all angles, the author showed great creativity and character development and I look forward to more books written by, D.S. Wrights.

This is the final book in the series.
I was not let down. This book was full of twists and turns. I felt like Liala. I was not sure who she should trust. I felt my emotions being pulled on a bit of a rollercoaster.
I think the ending was perfect.
I would definitely recommend this series. It was worth everyone of the five stars.

Heir is the third and final installment of Howl and picked up right where Hunt left off. This book definitely did not end how I had originally expected. Had some good twists and sexy surprises. A great close to the story.

This book starts out on Chapter 14 but it picks up where the last one ended. It is DIRTY but delicious. Great conclusion to a gritty but delectable trilogy.

Super good! I am a fan of non-traditional stories and this is definitely it. There are some triggers in this story so be warned, but it was a good story.
