This is one of my go to book and I think it is one of those books that it won't be read and put on a shelf. You will keep referring to it and will go back to the pages you found yourself. The author very honestly shares some of her own experience which makes the whole book so real and so close to you if you are suffering with the same problems. It absolutely changed my relation with food so strongly recommend it!

I found this book really approachable and "friendly", which is rare in this subject area where it's either super prescriptive and full of rules, or rather superficial. Reading this book was like talking to a friend sharing her trials and triumphs and getting advice, as opposed to judgement and shame. It's also rather short so reading it isn't so daunting. If you have emotional eating issues you don't really want to have a bible-length book to get through, it's hard enough as it is, this is (pardon the pun) digestible and encouraging.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is a very honest and practical account of the damage of yo yo dieting and emotional eating and I gathered very useful insights into understanding what causes this behaviour. I would highly recommend Fadela's book and hope she will release the second book soon!

This book reads more like a memoir with sparse information sprinkled throughout. I didn't learn anything that I hadn't already read before. I was given a free copy of this from Goodreads for an honest review.

Short with good strategies

This was a quick read with bare bones strategies/tips to combat emotional eating. I wanted a bit more, but for length it was a good introduction. The fat talk was a bit much, so beware if that is a sore spot for you.

I liked it

My favourite were the strategies to deal with the inner critic . Also the emphasis on exercise backed up with science. A quick easy read, I read it in 2 days.
