What I know about hockey could fit on the back of a stamp. So my latest patient may be one of the NHL’s hottest defensemen, but I’m not exactly blown away by his stardom. Add in the fact that he’s a surly, growling grump, and I’m more than happy to work my magic on his battered body and then hot-foot to my date with his teammate, Todd “Pretty” Carty.
Todd is sex on a stick, a slice of man heaven and I want a bit of the action, preferably of the bedroom variety. But when Raven emerges from his bad mood and throws his energy into blowing my mind with just one kiss, I find my head spinning and my libido raging.
What I didn’t bargain on is these hard-training, hard-playing hockey players working as efficiently off the ice as on it when it comes to getting results. But who am I to complain when satisfaction is their ultimate goal?
You'll love my Alpha male heroes and the women who (try to) tame them, so dive into my vast selection of steamy romances and be prepared to stay up late into the night being seduced by kinky dukes, hot hockey players, masterful Vikings and badass bikers. (To name a few!)

This book was well written but I had so many issues with it that I can't really say it was also a good book.
First, the hero is a whining, petulant brat. He's so fucking bratty that I felt absolutely no desire for him myself, nor did I want to read about the heroine's attraction to him.
The second guy is so flighty and uninvolved that there was no interest in him either!
The book's conclusion somehow depressed me... <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Spoiler >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I wanted them to stay a 3some, I liked the connection the two guys had when having sex together with a girl. I liked the dynamics they had, so I didn't like when the author wrote him out of the equation. Looking back on it, I see that that's what the whole book was leading towards, but I ignored the hints hoping I was wrong. I wasn't and I didn't like it.
I was however relieved to find out (sneaking a peak at the next book) that Todd didn't leave for NY to meet up with Raven's ex... I thought that's where he was heading and that really bothered me. But now I see that he was going off to eventually meet with a guy. I'd rather that then to meet up with the ex. However, like I said, I wanted him to stay with Raven and Fiona.
I also hated how Fiona reacted to Raven helping her at the conference. It was a really bitchy way to deal with the situation!
I also felt the menage aspect was way too suddenly initiated. One minute the hero and heroine aren't getting along, and the other guy is playing hard to get, the next moment they're all fucking in the kitchen. The scene felt forced and contrived, not natural at all... not that I know what natural is in such circumstances! hehehe <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< End Spoiler >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I didn't really connect with anyone and I hated everyone's nick name! I won't be reading any other books in this series, but I might try another book by the same author. Don't know. This book just didn't do anything at all for me but annoy and bore me.
In this standalone to the Hot Ice series, Raven and Todd give one physiotherapist her just rewards for taking such good care of others.
After a debilitating injury leaves Raven sidelined, it is up to Fiona to bring back one of hockey’s toughest players. The job had its perks with a trip to Orlando and all expenses paid on top of a nice fee. The bonus, however, came when not one but two insanely hot hockey players decide to seek out a more personal therapy session with her that leaves her craving more. Fiona knows the lines are getting blurred, but her new mantra of living in the moment keeps her going back for more individual and team workouts with two of the sports most valuable players. They are everything she can’t resist and doesn’t want to, but will have to when the assignment is over – that is until she unknowingly heals not only Raven’s injury, but also his heart.
None of them realized that Raven’s therapy sessions would be more pleasure than pain and incredibly addicting. But just as soon as the physical boundaries are crossed so to are the emotional boundaries leaving vulnerabilities unspoken out in the open. Unsure of how to proceed, the trio continues taking each other to new heights of pleasure while other obligations and new opportunities may end up taking them apart.
The brooding and ruggedly handsome Raven along with the playful and classically handsome Todd meet their match in one feisty Welsh by the name of Fiona. Fiona is a very likable heroine. She is accepting of her curvaceous figure and doesn’t really try to resist the physical cravings her body demands. Both of which are a nice change of pace when the opposite seems to be so common in other romance stories.
It definitely wasn’t clear how this one was going to play out as Fiona navigates her feelings for two very different men while battling new desires for both of them together and individually. While the turn of events leads to one somewhat surprising happily-ever-after, I missed the fought-for connection between the characters. Unlike earlier couples in the series, something was missing that didn’t leave me as invested and engrossed in the story as I have come to expect. The physical connection between the characters is definitely pant-worthy, but aside from that, the character growth isn’t as interesting. Still an enjoyable read and earlier characters do make a brief appearance that reaffirmed my love for the series. The author has certainly made me a believer of her brand of erotic romance and I will certainly be back for more.
These Vipers Boys get better and better with each book!
Injured whilst playing in the UK Raven Starr (yep, that's his real name) ends up being treated by Welsh Physiotherapist Fiona.
Offered the chance of a lifetime, by Raven's team mate Todd (drop dead georgous and sexy as hell), to go back to the states to help with Raven's recuperation Fiona doesn't have to think twice. Raven is a grumpy git and doesn't seem to communicate past the odd grunt here and there - but is also worthy of being called Sex on (or with) a stick!
Fiona ends up with both guys - can she handle them both?
I have to say the ending had me going 'awwwwwww, how sweet'!!
Not bad, but in something where the Amazon title is "Hockey Sport Romance (Menage a Trois - Standalone Read)" I didn't expect a tedious outbreak of monogamy.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋💋💋 Raven sounds Heavenly Pretty not my type but will suit others I’m sure . Great book , read some reviews that weren’t so complimentary on this book , I enjoyed it , I got the relationship, and I understood the ending had to be the way it was written . Shows you shouldn’t always take one view , read it yourself, everyone has different needs from a book , different emotions . Great book , awesome characters.
Teamwork is book four in the Hot Ice series, and my favourite so far. It tells the story of Welsh nurse Fiona, who ends up treating hockey player Raven for injuries he got while playing. She knows nothing about the sport, but does know that Raven is possibly the surliest patient she's ever had. The only saving grace is that his friend and teammate, Todd is sexy and much more pleasant. So pleasant, in fact, that he arranges for Fiona to go and work in Orlando for a few weeks in order to get Raven back to peak fitness. She jumps at the chance, especially since there's a conference in Miami that she never thought she'd be able to get to. But because Orlando is much closer to Miami than Wales, she's really getting a good deal.
Once in Orlando, Fiona's delighted to go out on a date with Todd, and would be even more delighted to jump into bed with him. However, when Raven confuses matters by kissing her until her head spins, she wonders how she can possibly be attracted to both men, especially when they're so different.
However, it soon becomes apparent that Raven and Todd work as efficiently off the ice as on, and when they set their minds to taking her to bed - at the same time, who is she to resist?
I gobbled Teamwork up in just a few very satisfying bites. I loved the change in setting at the beginning, and how the action was so seamless. The polar opposites of the two men really kept me interested, and when they got what they wanted - well, wow! These are amongst some of the hottest ménage scenes I've ever read - phew! I very much enjoyed the twists and turns and didn't see them coming - my very favourite kind of book. I'm really looking forward to next instalment in this series. Hot stuff, Lily Harlem!
A lusty Welsh physiotherapist (Fiona) is hired to get star Orlando Vipers defenseman (Raven) back in top condition. Raven is all dark and difficult (surly and brooding) but best buddy Todd (star forward) is all blonde, sunshiney and with stunning good looks. And both 'team up' on the Welsh beauty to maximize her pleasure. But there's only one guy Fiona wants to give her heart to, and guess who it is?
Lily Harlem's hockey world is not exactly the NHL (the players are as huge as WWE wrestlers, for one) but I've given up on getting annoyed at the inaccuracies and decided to just live in her fantasy hockey world. The book was a quick read, had plenty of steam, and the scene where I knew I was right about him! 4 stars
LOVED RAVEN! Loved him, loved him, loved him!!!! Did I mention that I loved Raven? Oh, I was so sad to have this one end, but boy did I enjoy every tantalizing bit of it! OH YUM!
Thank you Lily Harlem for putting that extra little kink in this menage story for me. I don't want to give anything away about it but .
Anyway, Whew! this was hotness to the nth degree. I do not ever want this series to end! Never!
"I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review" teamwork is the forth book in the hot ice series by Lily Harlem . if you like muscles and hot men you will love this !!!! i loved this as it shows how love beats lust in finding the one true love fiona desires , its a very hot book and a must read cant wait for more in the making of this series
Listen I love a good spicy book, I can overlook some flaws but not this many. The female physiotherapist goes from “I can’t even look at my angry grumpy patient and appreciate his tattoos without feeling like I’m crossing a Dr. Patient boundary” to “let me bone him regularly sometimes even with his teammate that I’m kind of dating.”
I can’t do a 180 character swing like that. Also how absolutely obnoxious it is that a grown adult woman goes out literally once and half the people she meets side eye her and instantly know she’s had a threesome and she’s like “gasp I can’t go around them again they see right through me”
I don’t really know what I expected but it was something better than this.
I like that the relationships were fairly organic in this book. One was instant attraction and one was a build up. I like that she has a full blown career.
Also I liked the spicy parts. The three characters had good chemistry and it was palpable.
But… this wasn’t a true why choose because she did, indeed, choose. Also seemed disproportionately hurt about a guy’s feelings for her that she’d known for less than a week. I would have enjoyed it being a true throuple.
If you want a fast and spicy read, though, this is definitely a good choice.
I'm loving this series and the addition of a menage book adds a little more spice to an already hot series. I love hockey romance and this was a good one, a little short on actual hockey scenes but the hot sex more than makes up for it. I like the way we keep seeing pieces of the characters lives that played a bigger role in one of the previous book. Even then, this book could stand on it's own but is best read with other books from the series
I read this story in a few hours while relaxing by the pool. It’s hot and steamy, with a story I enjoyed. Damaged characters who need the right person to infinite the sparks again for that happy ever after. I’m diving into this series for the rest of the afternoon and look forward to more heat and characters to root for.
Todd was looking out for his friend. It didn't hurt that he got some time with Fiona as well. I loved these three to together. Too bad it couldn't work for the three of them. They were hot together. I do love the twosome, though. I love they found each other and were able to help each other.
Sorry but nope. So much wrong here. From plot holes to character issues, from no communication to stepping away from things that would happen in reality, this is a hell no for me. But hey, at least they used condoms?
Great story, well written with humour, romance and plenty of sizzle! I will be reading more books in this series which is the best recommendation I can give!
This was confusing. The Spicy Scenes were good, not great but solid (albeit a little repetetive) but the rest was just really all over the place. The Romantic storyline felt rushed and not well thought out and the side Characters were even more flat than the main ones. I really liked the idea but it lacked the emotions.
The hockey is so wrong it's like the author haven't heard of the NHL. An NHL team traveling to UK for a match. Also it read like bad porno. Hate the FMC, she had so hard pick me vibes
