A TIMELESS TREASURE is a romance between a modern woman, Maddie Emerson, and Captain Ben York, a privateer. The storyline is typical. Woman meets man, neither trusts or likes each other, lust rules, then they can't live without each other. Unfortunately, only after the sex, does Maddie realize that "she never really wanted to see the twentieth century again-not if she had to leave him."
The intimacy scenes are continually weaved throughout a weak storyline. If you are looking for substance between the two, or something to make everything gel, don't read this book. I have rated it two stars for 'OK' but IMO it could have been so much better.
