HARD & RECKLESS: Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives' Jameson & Brooke
After Jameson finds out from a mutual friend that his best friend of twenty years had slept with his girl friend of four years broke him to the core, drinking himself into oblivion didn't help, it just kept on eating him alive, chasing his dreams at night, nothing seemed to change the fact that his best friend had betrayed him in the worst possible way. His only thought that kept racing through his mind was revenge and he knew just the way to get it.
Cole's only defence in his honor was to claim to Jameson that Katie wasn't right for him and to open his eyes to the fact.

He's captured my heart completely and I hope with everything in me he never gives it back.

One rule Jameson made clear was if they were to partake in a threesome, it's a one time thing, and if feelings were to get involved it would be with her and Cole.
But what if Cole and Brooke aren't meant to be? What if it's always meant to be Jameson and Brooke? Who is going to end up hurt? Which one is going to claim her heart?
The secondary character Rowdy has definitely captured my attention, I hope he gets his own book!! He's the hot stoner that has Jameson's back, another tatted up hot boy!! God I'd love to see what his cover would be like!! lol
This author always and I mean always delivers us a hot alpha leading male, hot sex scenes, and always leaves us a hot mess after it. She fast became one of my favourite authors after Hemy, since him I could not get enough, she's set the pace for all other authors when it comes to giving us readers exactly what we need. If you've not read anything by this author previously I urge you to take the plunge, seriously the ratings speak for themselves, definitely highly recommend!!

Cole has a gorgeous woman named Brooke Collins he's starting to care about. Jameson wants to make Cole work for his girl. He plans to get her attention, make her want him, and possibly do some sharing. After he's had his fun he'll back off, call it even, and move on. He wants Cole to know how it feels to share his girl, & this won't be the first time they've pleasured the same woman.
Brooke Collins is a waitress who has been crushing on Cole King for a while. Now that she finally has his attention, she's also caught the eye of his best friend Jameson. Jameson is sinfully delicious, and making it clear to Brooke he wants her bad. She can't help the way her body reacts when he's near. She finds herself desperate for both Cole & Jameson. Ok, for starters, the one thing that is wrong with this book is the plot!!!
Apart from the steamy hawt scenes which are self-sufficient and self-explainatory, the storyline was really bugging me, and therefore i really could not relate to any aspect of it.
First of all, the main character (Jameson)'s best friend of 20 years (Cole) fucks Jameson's girlfriend of four years (Katie), so he could show Jameson that his girlfriend was a bitch cheating on him…
The fuck?! What the fuck kind of reasoning is this? This is the most stupidest shit I have ever heard! Honest to God, I was fuckin stunned by this mockery and yet I wanted to see, out of mere curiosity, if the stupid shit can get even more stupid!
And guess what? It can…LOL
So, after this huge revelation, Jameson is pissed at Cole but even though the friendship means a lot to Jameson, he still has to punish Cole for the shit he pulled. So when Cole finds a chick he's interested in (enters Brooke), Jameson makes his move and tries to seduce the chick.
Now, shit gets complicated, cause Brooke, likes them both and wants them both, hence the threesome, but Jameson warns her that Cole should be the one she should fall in love with, cause Jameson is not the right guy for her.
Cause, listen to this…
God, help me to survive this…I'm trying so hard to supress the impulse to vomit
But guess what? Brooke falls for Jameson anyway, and he falls for her as well, against his better judgement. (cause now, he doesn't want to hurt his best friend's feelings!!!)
See the irony here, the stupid shit gets better and better…
Cause, Cole's reasoning is even better
And I have to repeat this quote once more, cause it's the fucking cause of this fucked up stupid shit in the first place…
So here it goes…

But this one was way too f*cked-up, even for VA.
The hero, Jameson, was the OM till aprox. 70%. (despite all you read below I really liked him as a hero!)
Love triangle vs. l'amour de trois.
H’s BFF slept with H’s gf of 4 years to prove his friend she wasn’t good for him – da f*ck?!
H decided to hit on his BFF’s gf to take revenge on him – hmm…
And the mess began…
The h slept with H’s BFF=her bf but was attracted also to the H.
H & h made out – cheating on H’s BFF. IMO.
Threesome H + h + H’s BFF=h’s bf – they all wanted it, but again da f*ck?!
I thought she would leave her bf since she clearly wanted the H, but no, she stayed with her bf (had sex with him) and only later told him she wanted out.
H promised his BFF he would stay away from her, but the desire/sexual attraction/apparently love won. The MCs got finally together, but was it a HEA?
This scenario can only work with extreme loyal and sexually “open” people. But in the real life? I doubt it.
Since I always know what I get when I read VA, I don’t complain.
But with all the mess and a lot of cheating my inner slut wasn’t quite satisfied, even if the sex was boiling hot.
Will I read her next book? YES!

4 Star Kindle Unlimited Read:
Well, well, well... holy hotness! Hard and Reckless give new meaning to Brittany Spears "3" song. And what a hoot it was to read about in Veronica Ashley newest menage a trois gone astray.
It was a fun and sexually charged read. My only complaint is really a question, what is up with all the ducking biting?? Sorry, but if some fucker, regardless if I'm in love with him or not, bites me. I'll be the last bitch he bites with his own teeth.
I'm looking forward to the second book because things will soon be on....
Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

I was a little put off by the story right from the start since Cole and Jameson have been friends for 20 years, yet Cole thought sleeping with Jameson's longterm girlfriend was the way to show Jameson what a cheater she was. Yeah, no. It just felt hard to believe that 2 people who are supposedly such good friends would do any of this. Once I got past that though, this was a sexy and hot listen!
I've listened to a lot of books narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, but this was definitely the hottest! They have such a natural chemistry and I love their voices together! Those steamy scenes were absolutely scorching!! The scene between Jameson, Brooke, and Cole was so sexy and undeniably blazing hot! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are a perfect duet team and I love that they always make the character's voices distinct and that I never have a problem knowing who is speaking. When Jameson took the time to finish Brooke's mother's house my heart just burst with love for him. It was so sweet and seemingly out of character for him. Then when he finally couldn't stay away any longer and claimed Brooke. Wow. He tried so hard to fight his feelings out of respect for Cole, but it just couldn't be denied. The epilogue was great and opened the door for more books. Best friend's sister anyone? ;)

HOT!! I swear I overuse that word when it comes to this author's books. But I can't help it she writes the sexiest men. Alpha men that get you and their woman all hot and bothered, then show that sweet loving side that just has you falling hard.
Jameson is no exception!! He has it all planned out he is going to play with the girl but not going fall, he doesn't want to keep her. You know what they say about best laid plans.....
Brooke is a sweet girl looking for a good time. Boy she gets what she is looking for playing with not one but two hot as hell men. Holy Sh#t there is scene that had my kindle smoking and me needing a cold shower!

Inutile annunciarvi che questa storia è ormonale, immorale e tanto tanto sexy. Due uomini in lotta tra loro, un tradimento e una sfida; conquistare la stessa donna, una nuova donna, il tutto ambientato in un locale dove i due fanno la sicurezza (e dove si balla stretti stretti) e i loro rispettivi appartamenti. Era da un po' che non leggevo qualcosa alla LORA LEIGHT (anche se meno sottile e più carnale). In ogni caso, lo consiglio alle amanti del genere e ammetto che nonostante l'autrice sia americana non ha spinto troppo sullo slang e la lettura è di media difficoltà. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Jameson Daniels has been betrayed by his best friend of twenty years Cole King. A betrayal so deep that Jameson many never be able to forgive him. Cole had Jameson's girlfriend of four years so why can't Jameson pay him back by going after the girl he's interested in. Cole is going to know what it feels like to share Brooke Collins. Jameson just has to make sure she she falls for the right one of them in the end....Cole. But once Jameson gets a taste all bets are off.
The first thing I'm going to say is WOW!!!! Hard and Reckless is absolutely amazing. I love a good love triangle. Jameson, Cole and Brooke make one amazing triangle but there so much more than that. A betrayal leading to payback and lots of fun for Brooke with two hot alpha males takes on a whole different feel than the usual love triangles. She's not suppose to fall for Jameson, she's suppose to want Cole. He had her first. I swear these three characters all brought the heat. I could literally feel the emotions from them all pouring off the pages. This is what makes Victoria Ashley one of my favorite authors. The way her words flow with such depth and emotion that you can't help but be sucked up in the story and loving every moment of these she characters lives with them.
When Victoria Ashely announces she has written a new book I become a stalking fangirl until I know when it's coming out and when review sign ups are. I do not miss her books. She never disappoints and always always do I say this is my favorite book. I'd honesty hate to have to pick my favorite Victoria Ashley book. If you've read her books you know that Hemy is one of her best male characters of all time. I love him and he's always been at the top of my book boyfriend list. Sorry Hemy, but you've been knocked down a place on the list and Jameson Daniels now hold my heart. I didn't think it was possible but it happened. This is a definite must read. If you don't read but one book this year this should be the one. It's got everything you could ever want and so much more from a book.

I received an arc of hard and Reckless by Victoria Ashley to read and review.
Oh My Holy Hell.
Hard and Reckless is one of the hottest books i have read to date. With hard and Reckless you get two badass alpha males fighting over one girl that they both have strong feelings for.
Hard and Reckless is told in two point of views: Jameson & Brooke
I loved the sexiness and confidence the characters showed in this novel.
Jameson and Brooke have an undeniable chemistry that is off the charts hot. I was cheering for them from the beginning.
Cole i had a little trouble understanding for one little reason, no matter how much of a bitch your best friends girl (Katie) is, you don't do what he did especially knowing how 'in love' with her, Jameson was.
I don't blame Jameson for coming up with this plan to get back at Cole. The thing i loved was no matter how much scheming Jameson did to get back at Cole he never disrespected Brooke.
The sexy time scenes in this novel are so extremely hot, thiis book should come with a warning label!
I could not put this book down to save my life but i have come to expect that when i jump into a novel written by Victoria Ashley. Freaking Amazing!
If your looking for a scorching page turner i highly recommend Hard and Reckless!

HOTNESS doesn’t begin to cover this book! We all know that I love everything Victoria Ashley writes, but OMG, this one is moving right up to the top! Could Jameson get any better, nope don’t think so! I need to know one thing, when she picked the cover was she thinking of Jonny James as she wrote those steamy scenes, because I was while I was reading them!
Ok, so I’m not telling anything about this book, just that you MUST read it… IT is THAT good. I am sitting here, wanting to beg for the next one to see what happens already, giving us a tease is just so WRONG! Write fast, please!!!

Tiktok recs FTW once again!! I saw a sneak peek of this on the authors tiktok and I literally ran to my KU app to downloaded it. Even though I had to put the book down to make my family supper 🙄 I craved to finish this book. It was so good and way hotter then what I expected. This book was everything 😘🤌🏻

Best friends for 20 years has Cole made the decision to show Jameson that his girl is not the right one for him, unfortunately his actions only fueled Jameson so give him a taste of his own medicine. Brooke is dating Cole and although she’s happy she starts to feel a pull towards Jameson and a deep desire burns in her to know what it feels like to have him. The storyline jumps a level hotter then before as an attraction is created and builds stronger each day. The sexiness is off the charts and Brooke is one damn lucky woman. As long as you have an open mind and are open to a little taboo you’ll love this story. This is a standalone but I hope we get to hear more about these characters on the future, I feel there’s more to be told with everyone. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

You just know... It's guaran-damn-teed... when you read a Victoria Ashley book it's gonna get hot. It's gonna need alone time and plenty of fluids for hydration! This? This is why i love this author she's one of my faves!
This book is about Jameson. We join him just as his life is going to hell. Betrayed by his best friend and girlfriend of 4 years he's drinking his life away and holding onto his anger. He's desperate for revenge on his friend as he thinks this will make him feel better and get his friendship back on track.
The friend that betrays him Cole is having fun with a new girl Brooke. When Jameson see's her he knows what he's gonna do. He's gonna get back at his friend and have some fun with Brooke. No feelings he's just going to make Cole work to keep this girl. Having had threesomes before Cole and Jameson aren't new to this but Cole knows this isn't about fun it's about revenge.
I loved it!!! When one scene of them not even touching gets you so hot and bothered you have to turn the heating down and take a breather you know you're onto a good one!! Mother effers!! Jameson is so hot he needs no hands no no nor his *private parts* touching his girl no no he just has to be in her presence! I want him!! New Book boyfriend fantasy alert! Oh yes! Jameson Daniels will hit the top of your list! When we finally get the three of them together? Bleeding hell! Make sure you're alone for that bit! or maybe with a *friend*.
It's not just sex though. He's kinda sweet in a rough way. He can't help developing feelings for Brooke and of course that can't turn out well for any of them.
Brooke is a fantastic strong woman. I love how open and free she is sexually. Most books make girls embarrassed of their feelings not this one. Brookes up for the two hotties and who the hell can blame her?
Jameson and Brooke together are like magnets that can't be pulled apart. The connection between them jumps out at you and makes you a little jelly if I'm honest! I want to be in her place!
The story keeps you gripped because you care almost instantly about them and of course the hotness coursing through the pages has you screaming for more more more!
I loved the additional characters too. I wanted to hate Cole at the start but as the story goes on i started to really like him. He may be a bit of a Douche but he's a lovable one. Their other friends Rev and Rowdy have also captured my attention. I'm a healthy woman of course of they have! And Brooke's best friend Karson is a lot of fun i can't wait to see what happens with her.
This book has everything you need for a great night in. Hotness level - bazillion! Excitement - flipping those pages like a mofo! Love - jelly i wanna be Brooke! Fun - ooooh yeah baby!
Love love loved it! Auto one click for me! Highly recommend to all hot blooded females everywhere!

Holy HOTNESS!! I have found my new book boyfriend and his name is Jameson Daniels! And let me just tell you he IS the shit and the stuff wet dreams are totally made of! Whew! I felt the need for a private moment or five...just sayin’ ;)
Livid that his best friend slept with his girlfriend of four years, Jameson decides the best way to get back at him is making Cole work a little harder for the girl he wants...Brooke. Seeing her for the first time, Jameson is definitely interested, so sharing her with Cole won’t be a hardship...at all. Even though Brooke has wanted Cole for a while now, meeting Jameson brings things to a whole new level. Working her up without even touching her, Brooke decides she needs to have Jameson and if the only way is to have both men together, then she’s totally game. The one rule Jameson has for this situation is it’s a one time only and if feelings are exchanged, it has to be between Brooke and Cole. Separately, Cole and Jameson are hot AF, but together? Oh my DAMN (insert one of those private moments)!! I’ve never really been jealous of a heroine before, but I was totally jealous of Brooke in that moment.
Jameson is totally swoon worthy and is trying so hard to be the better man leaving Brooke alone, even at the risk of his own heart and happiness. But in the end, the heart wants what the heart wants and you just got to take the risk. I absolutely LOVED this book! Victoria Ashley ALWAYS brings fantastic hot AF Alpha men, strong females, and sexy steaminess that will set your kindle on fire! I’m sooo looking forward to Cole’s book, Hot and Reckless!

This book starts off with a sweet intimate moment and then BAM, you're instantly ready to choke someone lol. Betrayed by his best friend and girlfriend.
What happens next is just intense, a little insane if I'm honest and simply HAWT!!!
Jameson, Cole and his girl Brooke play with fire and dayummmm if it doesn't make for some scenes that will have you wanting to remove your own clothes thinking to yourself "Is it getting hot in here, I feel warm really really warm."
At one point I wasn't sure how this would go whether or for that matter how I wanted it to turn out.
I ended up falling for both Cole and Jameson but at the end only one man will get the girl right?
If you're looking for a hot steamy sexy read then this is a book you are going to want. I'm looking forward to the next books in this series.

Going in I wasn't sure how I would feel based on the blurb, but just like other Victoria Ashley reads I enjoyed this one! She always has great super steamy reads, with a nice emotional side to the story. Hard & Reckless fit that, it may seem like any other erotica, but it has a sweet romance to it. I liked Jameson a lot, he can be an ass, but he has more sides than that. Him and Cole are sexy as hell too! I really liked the way the story turned and liked the plot. I think it could have really took a bad turn, but I think Victoria walked a perfect line with the story. It was edgy enough to be exciting, but not enough to cross a line I didn't like. I am really glad I got to read an arc!

Oh holy hell.. Victoria what did you do to me??? I loved this book soooo hard.., I seriously could not put it down.. I want a Jameson all to my self... but Cole.. I loved him too... gah these boys....
I seriously loved Jameson & Brooke.. he was just sooo sweet and attentive.. he did want to fall for her but he fell HARD... and the heart wants what the heart wants... I have loved EVERONE OF VICTORIA's books!! She is truly amazing and I get the pleasure of meeting her in march!!!! Thank you for this amazing read!!

Jameson Daniel's is the ultimate male fantasy. He has so much sex appeal that it oozes. His charmastic personality sucks you in where you wish that its you that he wants. I got lost in this book, I felt his pain and betrayal but I also felt the depth of his love and the nuturing side of Jameson. Victoria Ashley writes the best books but this is by far her best yet. Take ride on Jameson's wild side you wont want to come back.

3.5 meh starts.
I really hate to say it, but this one really didn't do it for me. Jameson and Cole drove me absolutely crazy. They were like 2 little boys fighting over a new and shiny toy. After a while, I just didn't care about any of them. On the flip slid, the dirty talk and the down and dirty times were on point. But other than those two things, I'm chalking this up to a big...meh.

Dang that was HOT, but I wouldn't expect any less from this amazing author who continues to give us those stories we can't get enough of. Hard & Reckless was the perfect name for this book cause it was hard to choose whose side to take and totally reckless on both alpha men parts. Love it though!
Jameson has it pretty good-a job, home, awesome bike, a girlfriend of four years and a BF of over twenty years, well so we think. This all changes when it comes to light that his BF and girlfriend made a mistake of getting caught. Busted!! Cole you may have been trying to do the right thing when it came to helping him see his girlfriend wasn't the right girl, but now you go and let Karma get in the way.
Karma is a beach! Jameson comes up with the plan. Hurt Cole the way he hurt Jameson while helping Cole get the girl. No strings attached! Easy right?
Meet Brooke. It was simple really. Help Cole keep the girl he recently started a thing with. No commitments at the moment. Jameson was going to share Brooke with Cole and then go back to doing what he does best. Being hot and swoon worthy after we see what he's been up to. Karson you are an awesome BF to Brooke. Not only in your sneakiness, but you supporting her.
Well nothing is that simple since not all our plans go the way we like all the time. Does the game plan change or do you leave it be? This was a tough one to decide cause I loved them both equally. Karma comes into play, but boy oh boy the next book is going to be killer. Gooey does the tables turn and it looks like Cole may be at it again. haha.
