Kiara is experiencing a string of bad luck. First, she gets rear-ended at a stop. Then her internship lets her go because they don’t feel she has enough passion for the field. And then her rich neighbor’s friends burn her house down during a wild party.
Yeah, Kiara isn’t having a very good time. And Teddy, her rich neighbor, is about to incur her wrath.
Rich, spoiled, and essentially her exact opposite, he makes an easy target. But the truth is that Teddy isn’t quite who she thinks he is. His wealthy father didn’t even know he existed for the first five years of his life, and since he has known a life outside of privilege, he longs for something more.
And part of that something more is Kiara. But like everything in life, it is complicated. She is unsure she can trust him and he is facing the possibility of being cut off from his trust fun if he doesn’t marry the high-society Whitney. Will this Cinderella story have a fairy tale ending?

I really liked this book however it was nice for the bonus stories but admit that they did not get read by me. I want to read the book in question not others no offense to the author it's a nice touch but just not for me.
As for the book it was sweet, addicting and romantic at times I found it repetitive in places more than needed. The story flowed for me but then stalled and jumped in places the slow burn could have been just right. I don't look for errors but a name error came up. At the epilogue I was totally confused because it wasn't the characters it was that of Maddison one of the stepsister.
A Cinderella story maybe but not really Cinderella has the man chasing this guy as hot as he was perceived was annoying at times. The story should have really been his. Sorry but overall it was a solid 4 stars
Keira went to the cottage where she had lived with her brother and father. When they left to be in the marines they traveled to undisclosed location and she was left alone.
Keira was living in Brooklyn and working as an intern for a law firm. She gets a call that she had to come back and take care of something at the cottage. She found a old sleeping bag and tent which she used to sleep. The next day she was in the tent when Teddy and his friend showed up. Teddy tried to tell Keira that he would get her help but, she refused him thinking he really wanted to help so that he could buy the land. Even his friend offered to pay for her to stay somewhere but she declined.
Teddy feeling bad for her he told her she could stay at his mansion until things got situated. Keira was leery but stayed for a while. She was going downstairs to the wonderful kitchen in the mansion to make breakfast when she comes down to find the chef drunk sitting by the fireplace. Keira decides to make coffee when she runs into her friend who works for Teddy's family and told him what happened. He fires the chef who was famous around Manhatten but needed a chef for party Teddy's that he for forgot. So he asks Keira stay and cook for him she could pay him back for letting him stay at his home.
They were having the party when her two step sisters showed up and crashed the party. The guests were very snooty and made comments about the poor women whose house burnt down and that Teddy hired to cook for his party. Keira was heartbroken so she went up to her room.
Well this books goes on about the budding relationship between Teddy and Keira . When Keira hears that Teddy has a fiancé she leaves and goes back to Brooklyn and goes to work at her favorite pizza joint. One day when she comes into work she see Teddy's friend Roger sitting there he starts talking to her and she wanted to find out how he found her.
Twists, turns, heartbreak, step sister drama, and a wonderful sauce. I really went through different emotions in reading this novel. I stayed up half of night reading because I couldn't put it down and I wanted to read it all at .
Teddy and Kiara are next door neighbors that grew up.
Theodore Brickman is a Billionaire playboy who always got whatever he wanted and did whatever his father wanted him to. One night he throws a party the guests decide its a good idea to a bonfire by the back fence it gets out of control and burns down the neighbors cottage.
Kiara Davies is the daugher and sister of Marines and lives in Brooklyn while going to college to become a lawyer. She gets a call that there has been some damage to her family's cottage in Long Island so she drives out there to see what the damage is. Finds out that her twin stepsisters threw a party and a made a mess. She gets the house all righted again. While she's home she runs into Teddy. After she has dinner she decides to go to bed but cant bc the music from the party and the bon fire from next are too much. She gets dressed and goes over there to have a word with Teddy about it. They see each other across the fire and sparks fly. What does she do? Does she stay? Does she go? Do they talk? Or do they ignore each other?
Kiara is proud of her strength and not needing others to help her. Teddy is a rich playboy who seems as far from being as independent as Kiara as possible. They grew up next to each other in an exclusive neighborhood, but as different as possible in every way. Yet after a disaster that the partygoers at Teddy's estate destroys everything Kiara has, they start to learn more about each other. Kiara stubbornly refuses to accept Teddy's offer to help her, and he won't give up trying to make things better for her, but he doesn't understand that money can't fix everything. After numerous misunderstandings and clashes with nasty "high society" girls, Kiara learns several lessons about accepting help, family and Teddy's desire to help. And Teddy learns that all his money is just a chain keeping him from understanding real life and how to handle real relationships. Finally, Kiara and Teddy find their way to one another, as if they were destined to be together, and they get the chance to live "happily ever after"!
Kiara and Teddy may come from different sides of the fence but they both feel outsiders to their lives. Kiara is lonely - with her father and brother off serving our country, her mother passed on, and two stepsisters she just cant relate to she has no one to lean. So when shes rearended, loses her job, her life direction, and her house burns down all in one day it kinda makes a girl take pause. Enter Teddy, seemingly a rich playboy without a care in the world, but appearances are deceiving. He is just as lost as Kiara, bring relentlessly pressured by a woman for all the wrong reason and wanting to please his father bad to make up for the loss of his mom. Kiara thinks she isn't made to fit in Teddy's world and Teddy's being pressured to find someone to fit that prefect works mold. But their attraction and chemistry is to much to ignore any longer! Whitney will just have to find someone else to climb that social ladder with!
Sweet story about the poor girl in the neighborhood and her wealthy neighbors. Kiara seemed to always feel like an outcast especially in her neighborhood full of wealthy elite social members. Teddy was her wealthy neighbor who always seemed to be throwing some type of party. He remembers being poor as a child before he came to live with his wealthy father. At times when he was alone in the big mansion, he often remember the peace he felt when he and his mother was poor and even envied Kiara because she had a purpose in life.
Circumstances bring Kiara and Teddy together and they both discover themselves and each other but Teddy is supposed to marry someone else or lose his inheritance. Great story, find out if love is stronger than money.
This book has an actual story vs the usual we just met and sex is on almost on every page, amen! I guess an author who makes me so frustrated with the pompous rich, deserves applause. Whitney, the rich lying manipulator sinking her claws into Teddy, just drove me bezerk hoping she would disappear into a locked alcove never being heard from again...but that didn't happen. Kiera proved a very strong character I wish we saw more of today. Lots going on in this story even though I felt the bull about the bank stocks didn't make sense to me. The ending came a little too fast for me and I felt a sudden rush that the author had to finish as soon as possible. Very nice effort!!
I don't read books so that they can be referred to in my mind as "cute". I read them because I want mature writing style, combined with a good story and great character development. I also want people, mainly authors, to realize that this "billionaire" trope is not only old, it has been told so many times that it isn't a fantasy any more, its just a joke. The boy meets girl theme is blasted away when boy is rich and girl isn't. Nice fairy tale, if you can write it so it comes out of CUTE and go into GOOD.
I own two more billionaire books by the author, and so far the last two have been pretty much the same, so I'll be deleting the other two and consider it a lesson learned about spending my money.
This book was great. I loved the story line, it was simple but still quite addictive and I did like the characters as well. The book just made me happy especially with the ending. There was also some additional books included and although one book was included twice it was still great to read all the other stories as well because they were great.
I loved this story. Teddy is the billionaire 's son, although he is a bastard, and Kiara is the proud daughter of a family that owns a cottage in Long Island but has no money. The two find that appearances are definitely deceiving while each denies that happily ever after can be had with each other.
I loved reading this book. It was sweet, heart warming and of course, the happily ever after experience. Enjoy the read as much as I.... if that is possible.
This read was a little annoying to me mostly because of the heroine she really grated on my nerves throughout this book. Other than that this was a sweet read and a nice little take on the Cinderella theme.
I managed to force myself to read upto 16% into the book before I gave up through frustration! Very bad story line. Pompas idiots for characters and not easy to follow as it's unstructured and has no flow to it! Don't bother to read this is my best advice.
Five stars for this real life Cinderella story. You'll love every detail described throughout this classic fairytale set in real life. CLaire Adams weaves her words into an emotional take of love. Kiara and Tedd will test your heart every step of the way.
I really enjoyed this story. Gives a new perspective on wealth & privilege compared to everyday people and how true love can actually not only factor in but win in the end. LOVED the characters and the plot.
Billionaire's Cinderella is a really good read. It's romantic, entertaining and heartwarming. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonus books. The only disappointment was that what was supposed to be the second book in the Chase series was the first book again.
Much better than any of the other billionaire books that I have read; however, why does walking down the aisle during a wedding suddenly turn into a sex scene with a different couple who were not even in the novel?
Kiara and Teddy's story is so sweet and loving. They think they are from different world's but in the in love is what matter. I would recommend this book to anyone!
I really enjoyed how the author modernized the Cinderella story with this novel, it was such a fun read! The heroine is tough and determined but vulnerable, and the hero isn't as he seems. The characters were well developed, all of them. Not of the interactions seemed force or unrealistic, the story just flowed really well. Once I started I couldn't put it down!
Kiara runs through a string of bad luck right from the start. Add in the twin stepsisters who are quite a handful, and you have one heroine with quite the chip on her shoulder. Enter Teddy, the billionaire next door neighbor. Immediate clashing occurs and the story progresses to see how their relationship changes.
I loved the fact that it was the hero chasing after the heroine and not the other way around. Kiara is the one who teaches Teddy a few valuable lessons, but it's not all one side. Both characters bring the out unexpected aspects of the other.
I definitely plan on reading other books by this author!
