**Book 13 in the Skin Walker series. This book can be read as a standalone.
Grace Rowland is on the run from an abusive ex-boyfriend. Her decision to move on couldn’t have come at a worse time because the blizzard blasting the state has made it impossible for her friend to retrieve her from the small town she’s holed up in. Assured that someone is coming for her, Grace is leery as all hell when a sexy behemoth arrives and claims to be her transportation.
Baymac Southon, Skin Walker Sentry, is pissed at his most recent assignment. Retrieve a human and escort her to the wolf shifters in Glacier? Puh-lease! He’s too damn skilled to be wasting his talents on such a pathetic mission.
Between picking up Grace and getting her through the storm, Baymac’s protective instincts quickly grow to something much stronger. Familiar with Dominant Walker, Monroe StoneCrow’s games, Baymac tries to fight his attraction to the human woman, but when he finds out that she’s going to the wolves so they can find her a mate, feral possessiveness clouds his judgment.
Wolf shifter battles have been scheduled and Grace is the prize. Baymac needs to decide if he’s going to deliver Grace to her awaited fate or keep her for himself.
My pack territory is in Central Montana, between Stone Crow Estates and the North Fortress. Born and raised in an untamed location that bridges the gap between rolling prairies and majestic mountain peaks, I am born to a family that also bridges the gap between cultures. My father’s people boast a fiercely proud Scandinavian ancestry while my mother’s tribes descend from two savagely beautiful and unique nations (White Clay and Nakoda) that inspire my Skin Walker series.
I'm a huge fan of MMA, boxing, 30 Seconds to Mars, DMX, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and 21 Pilots (“…sometimes quiet is violent”). I also love to read because it encourages me to write. (I hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really? Who doesn't love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer...kidding. I don't love beer but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don't call me when you read this.)
Please leave feedback….well, only if it’s positive. “Keep in mind that I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit! (Erykah Badu lyrics!)

Baymac and Grace. Another one where the woman's on the run and in swoops the skinwalker who, however is reluctant to get personal. Not really sure why... I enjoyed it and found the story flowed very well compared to other books I've read by this author. Really, my only complaint wasn't really a big deal but
What a wonderful Christmas story. There are so many twists and turns, does anyone know that mysterious couple, to the HEA that you begin to think it might not happen. But the author doesn’t disappoint and Grace finally gets her Walker in the end. I have added this book to my read again folder and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I just love these two... this is one of my favorites in this series.... Monroe sent Baymac into town to pick up and drop off a person, he us frustrated on why he is the one sent on this little errand. He is a fighter not a chauffeur. Grace is leery when this huge man she doesnt know comes to pick her up and drop her off with her friend. She is on the run and has no one to trust. With the snow storm so bad they had to find a place to stay for the night, an older couple lets them stay but Baymac and Grace have to pretend to be married. Baymac is confused cause he wants to make Grace happy, he is a tough walker , has no friends and prefers to fight and be alone.. why does he care about making Grace happy? They both have strong feeling for each other but Baymac is trying to fight off these feelings, cause he is not afflicted it just means Grace is not his but it sure feels like she is.
This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to pull you into the pages where secrets and fairytales live and dreams come true for those who believe!
This book was enchanting, enthralling and endlessly entertaining where stubbornness and determination to rise above conflict with a core of steel to get to where love and happiness lives! Batmac and Grace's story is one of commitment, unity, loyalty and the gift of a love so pure that it will take your breath away and catch you off guard by how riveting and intensely personal where that love triumphs and transcends all boundaries between two people who are meant for each other!!!
Very quick book, read it in a couple of hours. Grace is a sweet woman running from a very abusive relationship, and Baymac is charged with getting her to her friends pack near StoneCrowe. It is not the insta-love, but a time spent learning about each other. Loved the time they spent with the pseudo, Claus', Kris and Mary. Was a bit confused in the last part of the story when Grace and Baymac started communication via song lyrics, like they had been doing it all along. Threw me out of the moment, because it felt off and I kept trying to figure out what I had missed or skipped. Very disconcerting. Other than that, loved the story, loved the Characters and as always love the series. Well worth your time and $$.
5 stars for this gorgeous story. Susan did a great job, like she always does with her books. My opinion about Baymac is that he is much naive than Grace and a bit stupid. He fell in love with her in the first seconds but he didn't want to accept it. And that affliction thing it gets on my nerves but in the same time it increases the drama of the story. The author combined very well drama, romance with a bit of comedy and I liked how she mentioned characters from her other series. Dear Susan when you will have giveaways tell me. I love your books and I will fight like a wolf for them. I will be happy to have a shelf only with your books.
I found this book thought it interesting and bought it, but here’s the thing, it’s so good I read it in 2 days! I wanted it to continue, but alas it ended I didn’t care it was the 13 th book. For me it was book 1 and a new author for me! I absolutely loved the world and the characters as well as the concept! This book was very well written and had me worried, in tears and laughing. Goodness I fell in love with Grace and Baymac. The story needed to be longer I’m glad I will always have it so I can read it again
I love this series! All of the characters are so endearing: it makes me believe that true love does exist! Self sacrifice and integrity are traits not dAily found in another in the modern world where everyone gets a trophy. Faith, morals and hard work are essential characteristic of the skin walker way of life. This series reaffirms that folks still do work for and believe in a "happily ever after"
As always a great skin walker book loved how they know it could there Angel yet they are the typical man even if they deny it, and then boom there alpha mine mode is one and nothing can stop them, I am so hook up on these series it's not even funny, hope we have more if it's the same plot over and over LOVE IT
This one was a surprise to me and a nice one at that. I love the inferences about Kris and Mary. I often wish these books in this series were longer. There’s much more I wanted to have resolution on; Grace’s past with Otto, interactions with StoneCrows residents and a squaring off between Mac and Otto.
I just discovered this author and I am scarfing up her books as fast as I can. The skinwalker world comes across as believable and the characters are engaging. The story moves forward with action and excitement.I highly recommend this book
Baymac is a tough skin walker sentry, sent on a mission he feels is beneath his skill level. He is to pick up someone and deliver them to the local wolf pack. Baymac just never realized that someone is a beautiful woman on the run from an abusive boyfriend. Baymac just wants to get the mission done ASAP and get back home. But a massive snowstorm is going to throw them together for a while, and Baymac is going to learn much more about himself than he ever wanted to know. I loved the characters in this book. This book did not have a lot of action, but the characters and revelations made it a great read. I especially loved the older couple who gave them shelter from the storm. They seemed special somehow. But I cannot put my finger on it exactly. It was almost like Christmas magic.
she was running away from s abusive man and while going to a friend the friend sent a big man to take but the fell in love and he was to stubborn but fate has a way loved all her books
i can easily say the skin walkers is my favorite series. Grace is a very sweet person. she loves the simple things in life. im not sure when the affliction started delaying causing the walkers to doubt their Angels and almost loosing them. Recker is a great name. Monroe is still a sneaky worm but at least it is usually for the good of his people. cant wait for the next one!!!!!
I've loved this series over the years, but had stepped away for a while. This book took me back to all the reasons I fell in love with Ms. Bliler's Skin Walkers series... Skin Walker alpha, shy, yet feisty heroine, laugh-out-loud wit, and scorching hot chemistry!
I thoroughly enjoyed Baymac and Grace's HEA and look forward to the next adventure in the series!
I read three of these in one go so, for the most part, the stories are a bit blended together. That's not a bad thing. These type of books scratch a particular itch I get. Big alpha man meets his "one" and becomes completely focused on her happiness and wellbeing. It's a quick read and a little formulaic but still sweet and there's a HEA. Not bad.
Well. Don't we all want a Skin Walker now? Lol. I've been following the Skin Walker series from the start. Love the alphas all these men are. I love when they find their Angels and get afflicted. I think we all want that. Lol. Anyways, this was a good read. Keep them coming, Miss Bliler.
Baymac is sent out to pick up someone-Grace who is running from an ex Another exciting book in this series as another Skinwalker finds his angle and fall in love. Great book
I really enjoyed this one. Had forgotten about the Skin Walker series and I have missed a few. But this doesn't leave you wondering what happened before. Quick and easy read.
Cute fun fast read. Really like this series. A different kind of twist to regular shifters. Is this book we meet Grace and her skin walker Baymac. Not as much action in this one like in the previous books.
The book was very well written. I always enjoy the skin walker series . Susan A. Bliler is a very good author . I haven't read any other books by her but will be looking forward to seeing what else she has written . A great book to read from beginning to end .
