Revisited the CLASSIC for tattoo inspiration - left satisfied with my curiosity satiated. Can never do me wrong, my love my everything, the big bug book 🐛
I love this book because it is the perfect bug reference manual! Whether you are an insect enthusiast or are just curious about bugs, this book is useful for identifying and learning about different species.
I found it useful not only for learning about insect species with colorful and detailed photos. It also included diagrams about the anatomy of insects, their habitats, and their life cycles. One of my favorites was a photo of a cut away of a termite mound.
Sections of this book that I found particularly interesting were about what distinguishes butterflies from moths, "true" flies, and social insects such as honeybees, their habitats, and their social orders (honey bees are my favorite insect). So I gave this book 5 stars hands down!
This book shows you lotso finformation about bugs, beetles, insects, etc. that you might be wondering about! Reading stratagies I found most using would be making questions. Something I feel the book should work on would be mentioning the weaknesses and strengths of the creature.
