***You don't have to read any of the other books in the series to read this one. It's 100% standalone***
Francesca Virgata wants a mate. She longs for the perfect kind of love her parents had. There’s only one problem, she has zero prospects. Thankfully, she’s heard of Gerri Wilder who promises to make all her mating dreams come true.
Theo and Marcus are best friends and share everything, even women. So when they both fall for Francesca, it’s only natural they have a friendly competition over who can get the girl. After some thought, and a hot little interlude, they realize she shouldn’t choose one over the other, they should work together to make the perfect triad. A lion, a tiger and a bear, oh my!
There has been talk of abuse in Francesca’s pride and she won’t tolerate it. She’ll fight tooth and claw to ensure all members are safe. But when her brother turns on her, who will protect her? Theo and Marcus will do anything for her, but it might be easier to let them both go than to choose only one of the men she’s come to love.
Reader's Note: This book is dirty. Very very dirty. It has bad bad language and a lot of hot sex. There's sarcasm, fighting and one sharp tigress who can't choose between a hot lion and a cuddly bear. Maybe she doesn't have to. So if you like MENAGE with two hot men and one curvy girl who gets brought to orgasmic heights like she's the queen of the world, then you will enjoy this. If you don't, keep it moving.
Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!
I love the lion’s, tiger’s and bear’s aspect of this book that was pretty neat. I also loved that at the beginning of the book both Theo and Marcus have this connection that was really neat. BUT… then we never hear about the connection again and that made me a little sad because it would have totally been hot to have some of that connection going on when they meet Francesca.
Other than that, I really enjoyed how they met, how they all come together though it wasn’t as easy as 1, 2, 3 and that Francesca had to really think about her choices.
Again I LOVED the new narration; he is really starting to grow on me.
DNF @ 55% Trigger warning date rape, under age rape, physical abuse against woman & girls. Sorry I read this series for fluff & rainbows this was not what I expected. It was incredibly upsetting.
I have to be honest, I couldn't even finish this book. Milly is a hit or miss for me with these novels. Sometimes there's just enough to keep the book interesting all the way through and others, there are holes big enough to drive trucks through. Seriously, how can you have a female lead so blasted idiotic?! I get it. You want to keep your books short and sweet but, damn, would it kill you to add a little depth?!
So Francesca, the female lead, notices her brother molesting her assistant, sees her assistant is uncomfortable with this blatant groping and just shrugs in off in the chaos of the day? Oh, but wait, it gets worse. Later in the book, she goes to a party at the "Pride" house, see a girl getting sexually assaulted, beats back the attackers and then, does she unleash some justice on her brother? Nope. This vapid excuse for a character gathers the young girls, including the one assaulted, at her home the next day to warn them about THE DANGERS OF PREGNANCY?!!
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!!
Nope. Done.
I couldn't even get into the male leads because the story was so infuriating that it really wasn't worth reading about the romance when you've already shown your female lead to be a vapid, pathetic excuse of a heroine.
Note to the author: Don't write about sexual assault if you honestly have no clue about the damage it causes to a victim. As a woman, this really makes me angry because if a woman that has been hurt by sexual assault, actually reads this novel, she would be disgusted by the casual tone you take with a highly traumatizing experience. Shame on you and your editor for letting this drivel go to print!
Not up to Ms Taidens usual humorous standards due to background story. I really enjoyed this ménage story, it was a good fun read and I loved Francesca, Marcus and Theo and how their relationship evolved and the dates the men took her on. Theo streaking, oh goodness. But the background story of Francesca’s brother Shane was not a nice one and I didn’t enjoy it as much as I could have due to inaction on Francesca’s part. I think Francesca could have been way more proactive and done so much more. Why didn’t Francesca go and see this young girl who was pregnant but was adamant she had not had sex. Francesca had just stopped an attempted gang rape so she should have put two and two together. She says she is stressed over the Pride but has not done anything or spoken to anyone to find out what is going on. She is supposed to be the ALPHA FEMALE but spends all her time in the office not looking out for her people. On two occasions she is bailed up in her office, once by her brother and once by a group of the Pride men. I am sorry but bells are ringing very loudly. This is a woman aiming for her Black Belt in martial arts so she is not a wilting flower. Whilst I was not unhappy with Shane and Jim’s punishment, I think they got off very lightly. What about the others that participated in this abuse??? I am more worried about what happened to all those girls in the Pride and especially the pregnant one. They need to be helped and counselled. So, so glad the baddie got what he deserved. This is my honest review of this book.
Francesca was unethical and immoral and I disliked her. Her father, the pride alpha, was sick in a nursing home and her brother Shane was interim alpha. She knew that Shane and the pride accountant were misappropriating pride money and did nothing. She knew that the men were raping the teenage girls. She lectured the young women and implied that it was their fault for being alone with the men. And what was more shocking, she did not tell her father about these crimes.
Francesca, the alpha's daughter, further showed her lack of compassion by not reaching out to the raped girl who had gotten pregnant and left the pride. It was abnormal for the shifter father to not stand up for the mother and child.
In contrast to her rape victim blaming, Francesca excused her brother's crimes by explaining away his behavior because he was bullied as a child. Shane did steal from the pride but it was never disclosed if he raped any of the girls, although his behavior implied otherwise.
So back to the sex (the reason why I read these popcorn shifter romance books) which was totally overwhelmed by the awful heroine - I don't like to read about dry anal sex. I don't care if they are shifters and can handle pain and heal quickly. Where was the lube?
Francesca was not a likable character in this installment of Geri Wilder's Paranormal Agency. She lacked the capacity to reach out to the raped girl who had gotten pregnant and left the pride. All this makes Francesca a character that no matter who she gets with not a likable story line that makes you feel good that she found happiness cause honestly she does not deserve it.
Theo is a lion shifter and grew up to become a fire fighter like the man who rescued him from the car accident that killed the rest of his family. Theo was pretty much adopted into the fire fighter's family and has been like a brother to Marcus, a bear shifter and forensic accountant. They are roommates who both email Gerri Wilder for help finding a mate without telling each what they have done. Let'snot forget about Marcus.
So why no one listened to the bad reviews and kept the male narrator is beyond me. He is killing the series for me. I also felt like Milly Taiden miss the mark in this one big time. I am not saying that rape isn't a subject that should not be addressed in a story but to use a women to turn a blind eye just does not sit well with readers when most of us are women. This whole bit pulled away from a story it took away the shifter romance and killed the whole story for me. Marcus and Theo deserved a better mate then Francesca.
Let me count the ways on how this story was just BAD!!!
1) It got waaaaaaaay to heavy!! Trigger warnings for rape and possible rape situations (What the WHAT)! 2) The narrator was TERRIBLE!!! I endured him through book 11 but his voice just grinded my nerves to DEATH! 3) The male characters were just UGH. Not sexy at all! 4) The MUSIC, WTF!!
This was just a big fat NO in my book. Now will I find more Milly Taiden books to listen too? Yes! I was completely addicted to this series until these last two stories so I cannot really fault the author for bad production.
This specific video review will be included in the August 2018 wrap-up.

Milly brings us another PDA book to add to the series. This one a fav genre of mine Menage. I loved how Marcus and Theo meet, as young boys it didn't matter the species difference they were Brothers. Francesca is a tiger shifter that runs her pride's office, he brother Shane temporary Prime, has been acting strange along with other strangeness within the pride. Meeting both men separately at first, only to find out Marcus and Theo were best friends. The dating and wooing commences giving both males a shot at being the man she picks. Overall a good story it did seem a bit rushed even at 200 pages, I dont know something. But I did enjoy the story and the characters.
I was very happy to get my hands on this latest Milly Taiden book, however I was not fully happy with reading it. There was plenty that I liked, but there was also a bit that I didn't like. I liked that this was a different species triad. Hot & sexy firefighter. The scenes with Theo were hot, fun and amazing. The scenes with Marcus were sweet. But I wasn't fully engulfed in the story.I'm not sure why, I felt like I was missing something. However, the writing was good & the story line was good. Just off somehow, IMO
I don't usually give out low ratings but I can't give this book a higher one. I usually love Milly's books but the subplot/suspense was disturbing and killed the romance for me. Horrific acts are done and glossed over leaving a horrible waste in my mouth and my stomach in knots. I won't be reading this again and hope the next story is more palatable.
Francesca is a tiger shifter and since her dad is sick, her and her brother are in charge, her brother is the prime and she runs the office. She also emails Gerri to help her find a mate and gets set up for an informal meet and greet with a potential mate. When Francesca gets to the bar she meets Theo first, who immediately recognizes her as his mate, but gets called out on a fire call and then Marcus shows up and also immediately recognizes her as his mate. Things get complicated as they battle for her affection hoping she will pick them until they realize why pick one when she could have both? Weird stuff is going on with her brother and their streak and she has decide whether their unconventional triad will work on a permanent basis. This story was really refreshing, it was quite a bit different from the previous PDA books (all of which are amazing) but still true to the series. I also liked that it voiced the question that I've been wondering for a while now, when is Gerri going to get a mate for herself?
Shifter Francesca Virgata wants a mate and so goes to Gerri Wilder for help. Shifters and best friends Theo and Marcus live together and separately go to Gerri Wilder for help to find a mate. In the past, they have shared everything but when they both meet and fall for Francesca at a meet and greet organised by Gerri, they settle into a friendly competition to see who can win her affections. Being distracted by trouble with aggressive behaviour in her pride, it's going to take some fairly dramatic events to help her decide between them. However, after a hot interlude, one evening and some thought Francesca realises that she loves them both and that they should work together to make the perfect triad. Surely a lion, tiger and bear work together perfectly well?
I loved this story which has lots of drama and danger in places as Francesca tried her best to sort ou what was going wrong in the pride and what the source of it was. It was heartbreaking for her to suspect her own brother as the centre of the rot in the pride even though he appears to have been a follower and not a leader in the end. Well written, it was easy to read and understand. Please note there is some sexual content in this book and some of it is MMF.
Once again Geri Wilder worked her magic! Milly Taiden takes on a very hard theme in this book, crimes against women. Yes, this book is fiction, yet crimes like these do exist in real life no matter how advanced we get. Oh if every female was an empowered as Francesca it would be a start. Having our own Theo's and/ or Marcus's would make it even better. This storyline carried me right into the action and I blissfully escaped reality until I reached the exciting conclusion. Absolutely love this series! This voluntary review is based against a Kindle Unlimited copy.
Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh my! Francesca just has no luck in love. So she enlists the help of Gerri Wilder. Now she might have just gotten a little to lucky. During a meet and greet she meets not one but two guys. Now she has to decide between two men she has fallen for equally. Or does she? Marcus and Theo are best friends practically family. They both fell for Francesca and now worry about who she will choose. Can they live with her choice?
I've read this series from start to present and I always fall in love with the characters, wether wolf, dragon, panther, lion, etc. This series has it all. I'm always wondering where the author will take us next.
LOVED! This was another very good book in the PDA series! I loved the different triad, a bear, a tiger, and a lion what a combo! There is a bit of a mystery with this one, love mystery. There was alot of heat, well it is a Milly Menage. These three send Gerri emails within moments of each other, great minds think alike. Francesca spends time with both Theo and Marcus and thinks she has to choose. Not if the men have anything to say about that. There are even twist going on. This seemed to be one of the longer PDA books, but it works. It needed the length to pack everything in to it.
You really can't go wrong with 2 simply hot, witty, sexy shifters. Think we all need them. Another well written story, one that's a little more gritty than the others, these PDA books are ALL just sooo good, you really do need to read all of them.
My final thoughts on this one. I own and have already read this book in ebook format. I love the story, and previously gave it 5*s. When I joined Audible Escape, I discovered that the first 15 stories of the series are part of the program, so I decided to give them all a listen. The first 11 stories were done by Lauren Sweet and, while it took a little while to get acquainted to the voices she chose for each character, especially Geri Wilder, I enjoyed her version of the stories.
The last story and this one are narrated by Joshua Macrae, and I don't really like his rendition of it. He tends to read everything with a breathy tone, over exaggerating every word, pausing far too often during the story. While I love the story, I just couldn't get past his voice. It's like every word is said in the midst of passion and not in a good way. Sometimes his voice sounded like Stephen Moyer's character, Bill Compton, from True Blood, other he sounds like Nicholas Cage. Again, not in a good way. He seems to over exaggerate some moments that really shouldn't have been and didn't put enough enthusiasm behind others. So, sadly, I'm only giving him 3*s.
The story, however, and author, Milly Taiden, get 5*s. The author wrote a phenomenal story. This was the second time in the series that both parties were shifters. Though, this time it's a lion, a tigress and a bear. Marcus (Bear) and Theo (Lion) are best friends and roommates. They both fall for and claim the same woman, Francesca (Tigress), as their mate. After spending the story getting to know each another she have to decide who she will choose. The decision wasn't too surprising but I loved it just the same. I really enjoyed seeing the author put a new twist on something that was already a part of the series. Well done to the author.
Now, you know why this one only got 4*s, because I averaged between the two different ratings. Off to listen to the next book!
This was a great story and even though it is the 12th book in the series it works fine as a standalone.
I liked Francesca Virgata who was a tiger shifter. She had a very strong personality and had a good head on her shoulders. She also was ready to find love. Funny I do not think she knew what her future had in store when she contacted Gerri Wilder.
Theo Liannus and Marcus Ursav were best friends Theo was a lion shifter were Marcus was a bear shifter. Theo was this sexy fireman and Marcus was this sexy FBI agent. It was like these two were destine to share a mate. Ever since they were young they could feel what the other was feeling. They truly had this special bond. There is a funny story or two behind that but you will have to read the book to find out.
I found it funny that it did not accrue to Theo and Marcus sooner to go to Gerri together to find a mate. They both did it separate behind the others back. You would think they would know they were meant to share one due to their special bond.
I can not imagine having a job like Gerri Wilder. To sit back and watch fate take over. It has to be very satisfying to know she brings happiness to so many.
Francesca’s father is really sick and it is up to her brother to help with the leadership of of the Pride and Francesca to help with office work. There is something strange going on with the Pride and soon Francesca will find herself in some danger.
I loved reading about Francesca’s date and Marcus and Theo. It was very interesting when she met their family. I love how excepting Marcus’ mother was of the 3 of them together.
This was a great story and glad I to a chance to read the book.
How I love this book! You have to wonder where she got the inspiration for lions tigers bears oh my. We all know this one. I think I've heard it for years. This book is extremely well-written. And was a blast to read.
This story is Francesca, Marcus, and Theo's story, a tigress a lion and a bear. The guys actually live together. And I have to say I love how they ended up together even it was a tragedy that brought them together. Hell Marcus's family took him in as one of their own. They even love how they're connected, Marcus in Theodore feel each other even when they're far apart. I know things going on in Francesca's Pride arches horrible I hope she can get them straightened out. She's one tough tiger. I love has she keep that dude butt. That something is up with her dad ill and your brother acting strange it's up to her to figure out how to fix the pride, when things take a turn for the worse. But can the boys get to her in time to save her?
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too
I am loving the PDA stories by Mills Taiden. They are a cute and fast reads that aren’t too heavy, usually. I found this one to be a bit heavy with drama and lighter on steam than some, especially for a menage.
There was some quick glossing over of several (or more) rapes (ganged?) in the tiger pride, mostly to young high school girls. I was not super comfortable with the casual way it was addressed, plus I didn’t totally feel the connection between this trio like some of the other PDA books. Also There were a few open-ended storylines as far as the tiger pride was concerned (so who is in charge now?). Then there was this whole thing about the guys being emotionally connected but then it was never was brought up again, like I felt like it was going to elevate their intimate time with their mate (feel each other’s excitement which would double their own?) but nope, not brought up again…definitely a missed Opportunity on that one. I’m still looking forward to reading more in the series, I tend to read the PDA books between my other longer stories. Every book can’t be a total hit and while this was FAR from a miss, it wasn’t one of my favorites in the PDA series.
Heather's Notes Finally a book that wasn't about how hot and big the woman was. I have nothing against big women but it was beginning to get a little bit much. This story was nice with very little angst so I liked it. I enjoy that these are quick reads and will continue reading them.
A lot of plot holes, inconsistencies on the overarching themes of the series, did not have trigger warnings for rape and sexual assault, spotted a spelling error too. Comradry. Tf??
Been reading a lot of books in the series and pictured Gerri W as a middle aged woman and on other books, she was described as a widow, whose height is 4”11, and then suddenly on this book, is a tall woman? The MCs even wanted her to get a mate of her own. And this is book 12?? Tf. The ghost writer didn’t get the memo?
Also, Francesca is an idiot who sweeps things under the rug and couldn’t put two and two together fast enough to protect her pride. This is not a book that should be read by rape or sexual assault survivors for how poorly it was all handled, even with Francesca the idiot who gave girl talk about pregnancy and protecting against men in their pride. What a wimp. She should have reprimanded and punished the men and not the girls. Yes, girls. Underaged ones. That’s how horrifying the subplot is. Which was unresolved and you’re left wondering what happened to the other perpetrators and enablers. I feel like I wasted hours on this and the payoff left a sour taste in the mouth.
Trigger Warning/Drugging and Teen rape/Terrible story
I was very surprised by this book. I read a few books at the same time, depending on my mood. I took a break and got this for something with some laughs and a more lighthearted story. Instead I opened a book that involves drugging and raping teens at parties. There was a lot of male to female dominance and violence, inc?chaining teens and women up to rape and get them pregnant. This book definitely does not belong in Gerri Wilder's series! I found it very upsetting, because of course after the above events the principal characters just continue on and it's not addressed again. To make matters worse, there are numerous errors throughout the book! Typos, duplicate words, missing words, parts of the story that contradict other parts, everything possible in an error.
This is the worst Milly Taiden book I've ever read, and I'm furious! There's no warning on Fantastic Fiction or Amazon regarding content. She does make a quick note about "rumors of abuse in her pride" but that's it. To me this is the type of book you read to escape for a little while. There is no escape in this book.
Let's be honest for a minute, we all know the reason why we read these books. We're looking for the steamy love scenes and female worship that Milly has perfected. Yes, the mystery and violent background story isn't the best but if you want mystery look for a book in that genre. These stories are designed for the lover in all of us looking to feel worshiped even if it's just in a fantasy life. This story didn't disappoint in the aspects its deigned for. I loved it.The characters are fun to read and Theo had me laughing out loud at some of his antics. Marcus, the shy, serious bear shifter, had a fierce sense of protection and quiet strength. Theo, the lion shifter, was a thrill seeking adrenaline junkie. And Francesca, a prima tiger shifter, was stuck in a desperate situation trying to protect the young women in her pride.
Book 12 Oh, My Roared in Paranormal Dating Agency by Milly Taiden Francesca is a Tiger that is feeling a vibe in Pride that is off but she can’t put her finger on it. Feeling it’s time to settle down Francesca contacts Gerri to set her up. Marcus is a bear and a accountant that contacts Gerri to find her mate. Theo is a lion and a firefighter that’s feeling his biological clock ticking and get Gerri to set him up on a date. Francesca meets both guys the same night but at different times but her Tiger know deep down they are her mates and agrees to another date. I loved the mix species mating and how all characters are very different. The only reason I’ve put three stars is the way the raping and problems in the Pride was dealt with especially her stupid brother and the irresponsible things he did and the backwards way he and other male thought in Pride.
Enjoyable enough, although the big bad was far too much for what is supposed to be a quick and sexy mating story. I cannot believe everyone in Francesca's pride is so awful to let rape happen. The brother is excused, although he is just as horrible a person. This completely overshadows the main plot, which suffers greatly for this ridiculous side story. Without the rape(s), this could have easily been 4-5 Stars story, but quite frankly, there was far too much depravity for a "quick and sexy" love story. What a bad taste to leave in the mouth.
let me preface by saying that I read this via audio book. The person reading the book reminded me so much of Nicolas Cage's character in Gone in 60 seconds.
I will say this book and the next were both different. I am not sire how I feel about the presentation but that is neither here nor there. It seem to have a different feel to it this time. I thought it was funny how the two friends attempted to give flowers and chocolate and it was failed attempted but great on both sides of the equation.
It really irked me how with her brother behavior and I glad that prick got his just desserts.
Another good addtion to the PDA series. . . Overall 4 out of 5 stars Performance 3 out of 5 stars Story 4 out of 5 stars
Gerri has done it again. She stays on her game and makes the right plays with the pieces on the board. Two hot sexy friends and besties fall for the same woman. They form a trifecta that was none traditional. A lion, tiger and bear oh, my. This carries on the theme of non-traditional coupling, great romance that have more.
Narration was pleasing, clear, clean, and flowing.
Amazing story of a bear and a lion shifters finding their mate
Marcus is a bear shifter who is a bean counter. Theo is a lion shifter who is the fireman. They made Francisca who is the secretary/office worker and their mate.
Who will she choose, Marcus or Theo or both? Who is Holloman?
The characters are both funny and obsessed with Francisca. The plot is a fast paced drama with many twists and turns.
I love this story because it has drama and a mystery. I highly recommend this book.
