I'm tired of Liz. She's too old to be this stupid! She takes whatever she wants, makes Gloria pay for things that are way too expensive and never seems to appreciate ANYTHING!!!!!
Greed with Envy is the 15th book in Hope Callaghan’s Garden Girls Cozy Mystery Series and is a wonderful book. Once again, Ms. Callaghan has written a well thought out and interesting mystery, with a good story line and excellent character development. The writing style flows smoothly and is an easy read. The mystery is well throughout and there’s never a dull moment. Ms. Callaghan’s descriptive writing makes the reader feel like they are right there watching the activities as they unfold and there is a strong sense of love and friendship. This is a clean cozy mystery featuring no gratuitous sex, violence, or foul language. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-crafted cozy mystery.

Greed with Envy: A Garden Girls Cozy Mysteries Book 15 by Hope Callaghan
The more I keep reading this series, Garden Girls Cozy Mysteries, the more I just have to keep going! These Garden Girls are incredibly talent! I just love Ruth's spy van! Gloria, the ring leader, Lucy, the weapons specialist, Dot & Rose, the restaurant owners who know everybody in town, Andrea & Alice, these women are all awesome when they are sleuthing, and keeping their town free of crime! Way to go Hope Callaghan! Keep up the great work! Thank you.
I love this wonderful sweet series and I love all the garden girls you'll laugh and cry and love right along with them Hope Callaghan's books are a must read getting the next one now
Gloria and her gang of senior sleuths investigate the death of friend Margaret's husband Don. Even though the police ruled it accidental... the girls snoop to find out why Don't cleared all the accounts he had easy access to. Gloria's sister Liz is pain in her behind and is in town for Gloria's help in tracking down her m.I.a. boyfriend, but proves invaluable in their investigation. Fun and fast moving...this would be wonderful to pass the time waiting... you might even resent it if your turn comes up before the end
Again Hope Callaghan has written about a modern day scheme that involves Margaret, and sad to say Margaret's husband Don. Margaret arrives home to find Don dead. For awhile the police feel Margaret killed him. But perhaps he committed suicide. Of course, the Garden girls try to help their friend out. The reader is treated to a signature cozy mystery by Hope. If you like your sleuths on the older side (except for Andrea) try the Garden Girls.
Margaret's husband Don had a heart attack and he has been bickering with her so when she went to a wedding he stayed home. When Margaret returned home she found him in the garage dead and the police make her the primary suspect. Gloria and the garden club try to solve the mystery while Gloria is handicapped with her sister Liz who came home to ask for Gloria's help in tracking down the guy who swindled her money. Great Christian reading
Gloria is better than ever at her detection skills.
Gloria and the girls come to the rescue to help one of their friends get justice for the evil perpetrated upon their beloved friend and her dead husband. With the twist of Gloria's sister mixed into the story, your are in for an enjoyable read.
The garden girls are first of all friends who look out for and support each other. And when there is something suspicious going on, they are there to support each other and get to the bottom of it. This is another fun, lighthearted mystery with a big touch of reality added in.
I love every one of Hope Callahan books. She makes them so intriguing and wonderful with all the Bible verses and prayers. She definitely lets people know they can let people know you can have your religion and it’s ok. She is a GREAT influence to all!!
While everyone attends Andrea and Brian's 2nd wedding then reception, Don died. Then they learn he emptied ALL of their financial accounts, Margaret is broke or would be if not for the money from the gold coins they found. The detective thinks Margaret may have killed him. Gloria and friends have to clear Margaret and find out what happened to the money. Good story.
This was funny and bright yet sad also. I love this series so much. Hope keep writing such refreshing clean Christian books. I love that it a cozy mystery. We also get to see something new about each of the ladies.
Oh to be included in a group of friends like these ladies. They care for one another through all types of plausible predicaments. Just when you feel something bad will happen the singer hits and they have solved another crime.
The ladies pull together during a tragedy and, of course, work together to figure out what’s going on. This group of women are so special and feel like family this far into the series.
This topic of investment scams is very pertinent. The Garden Girls are on the job in an interesting way. I loved it as I loved all of the Garden Girls books and Cruise Ship mysteries.
This series is so much fun to read. It is nice to find books that are clean, wholesome, and are Christian. The characters are quirky, feisty, smart, kind, compassionate, and also seem to fond themselves is precarious and sometimes dangerous situations. Love reading this series.
Gloria and her Garden Girls save the day and the unsuspecting town in this book. Pain and heart ache along with friendship and love all come together in this book. Hope Callahan has a winning formula for writing intriguing novels. You’ll love it!
This book was sad as Margaret's husband died and Gloria 's sister Liz is very inconsiderate of others. So I did not enjoy this one as much but the mystery was good.
I love this book and series. This plot was interesting dealing with missing money. I enjoyed the addition of the country club as story location throughout this book.
This book had the right amount of everything in it to keep the readership, puzzled and excited to find out what was coming next. But then, all the Garden Girl books are that way.
