Another fun one! I'm enjoying this trio of bears and their unconventional heroines.
The Gist: A fairy godmother in dire straights! Her wand has been stolen and she's landed herself in jail and in need of a lawyer to help her out and help save a Cinderella's happily ever after.
Marra and Kain. Ahhh they were a duo. A bear shifter who doesn't believe in magic and his fairy godmother mate. lol Marra was cute. She's nervous and flustered over having her magic wand stolen before she even starts her first job as a fairy godmother. She was a nice lady. And Kain. Well he's got some doubts but it's his mate so...he's all in. He was sexy and sweet and determined to help his girl out. They were a nice pairing. A little steam added in eventually, too.
The story was fun. A hunt for Marra's "cinderella" who she was supposed to help plus needing to get her wand back. It was entertaining and brought in a number of characters who lent a hand and showed Marra the real magic was inside of her and not in a wand.
All in all, a cute Christmas read. Got my romance, my adventure, my big strapping bear shifter. Made me a happy reader.

When one Christmas night he's called to the police station to lawyer up an assault case, he meets his other half- who turns out to be a fairy godmother Harmony/ Marta.
Since I had never read about Cinderella/ fairy godmothers who can get their wand stolen/ Santa clause etc al before, the book was really weird for me and despite two tries I couldn't get into it.
However, the book was really sweet and filled with Xmas spirit.
Safe read but totally not for me

such.fun!
these stories are light hearted, cheerful, and perfect for making you smile. the characters are literally magical, crossing a range of fairytale beings who step outside theirs fabled ruts in order to find happiness. they make me smile

I enjoyed this book. I liked the connection between Kain and Marra and Fate sure knew what it was doing matching these two together when Marra needs both Legal help, possibly protection, help with getting her Magic Wand back so she can help her “Cinderella” Naomi make it to the “Ball” which was actually a pitch meeting so she can pitch her proposal for her business to Mr Drake and possibly meet her Prince Charming in time. I liked this modern take on the classic fairytale of Cinderella. There were a few twists that Marra and Kain had to work out with making sure Naomi is in the right place so she can meet her Prince Charming which they originally think is Mr Drake and when it’s not him they have to work out who he actually is. It was a lot harder working just on instinct as they don’t have the help of Marra’s Magic Wand since it was stolen by Lance Devere. At least they had some magical help from grumpy Knecht Ruprecht aka Rupert. I’m looking forward to reading Asher’s story next. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

Second in the series so far. 3 bear shifters are enjoying their yearly drink and deciding who was going to work over the holidays. 2 lawyers and one under cop.. kain os up in this one, and he has a woman in jail claiming some billionaire stole her wand!! A wand really? Really cute books both this one is cute, have reindeer shifters, bears, elves and a fairy godmother.. really cute..

Santa, the Tooth Fairy and Fairy Godmothers makes a person think happy thoughts, but with shifter Kain, I think he thinks people are crazy for believing in them. Until he meets Marra and then all bets are? In the previous book Sleighed we met Penelope, Santa's daughter who crashed into Bas Bear. Lets see what's in store for Kain with Marra and how crazy this bear turns out to be :-)

Fairy Godmother!
This was a cute story about Marra a fairy godmother whose wand was stolen and Kain a bear shifter lawyer who thinks his fated mate is crazy for thinking she's a fairy godmother. I love how just when you think it's solved, is not. The ending was perfect. Really good story.

Mara and Kain
This is a very good, sweet, well written holiday romance. The characters are interesting and lovable. This is the second in the Christmas Bears series. The story is a slow burn with heat between a shifter and a young Fairy Godmother. Read and enjoy.

Nice read for Christmas.

Fun series!
I love shifter stories of finding their mates in the most unusual circumstances. This was such a fun read with shifters, fairy godmothers, Mrs. Clause and magic. A truly enjoyable read.

Great Christmas read!

Escape reality and come along with three rather disheartened bear shifters who spend most of their time righting wrongs. Two are law partners of the best kind, and one is an undercover cop. All are unhappy with no mate at Christmas time. And not one of them believes in magic! But in this one, Kain, is about to learn. There are lots of twists and plenty of humor, so stick a crowbar in the Scroogey wallet and have a great read!

Harmony Raines has an exceptional way with words. Her stories are beautifully written. She has written many books but each one is it's own unique tale. She has written 3 special stories for Christmas that are perfect for the holidays. Each one has a bear shifter looking for his mate and a special lady meant just for him. I would recommend any and all of Harmony's books to anyone that enjoys a great romance. IMO, you won't be disappointed.

Marra is arrested for assault when a man steals her magic wand and she tries to get it back. Kain is called to defend her. As soon as Kain sees Marra he knows she is his mate. Marra senses something magical about Kain but isn't sure what. Kain thinks Marra is crazy when she states that she is a fairy godmother and needs to get her wand back but he knows he will do whatever it takes to protect her and keep her safe. Kain convinces Marra not to go after her wand on her own and she agrees even though she needs it to help a "Cinderella". Kain decides to help Marra in her quest.

Kain who is a lawyer happens to be a Bear shifter. He surprisingly finds his mate Marra but thinks shes not all there because she claims to be a Fairy Godmother. She is in jail for attacking a billionaire who stole her wand. It's quite an adventure with Marra trying to help her Cinderella without her wand. Kain does not quite believe her even though she can sense that he is a Bear shifter. There is quite a cast of characters including a short visit from Mrs. Clause. There was a lot going on but I really enjoyed the story!! Marra does get kidnapped by the billionaire Lance DeVere because he finds that he can't use the wand. She ends up helping him for the reason he stole the wand and he drops the charges of the attack. Fun story highly recommend.
