I am giving it a 3 star because if you are clueless on how to start playing it gets you started. Considering it is published in 2016, it leaves with more questions than answers.


I did learn different areas ( grass, water, mountains etc) produces those type of pokemon. It gave me two websites I am hoping are current for 2023 at least.


It didn't tell me about gyms, raids, battling etc

There were only a few tips I didn't already know about in this book. To be fair, I've been playing for a few years and had already figured out a lot of this on my own. I do think this would be super helpful for someone just starting to play Pokemon Go. Well-written, good illustrations, excellent examples.
