I read the first three volumes of this series about 5 or 6 years ago. I wouldn't say this is for everyone. But all the intentionally jokes on the 'locked room mystery', classical detective novel cliches and the conspiracy surrounding the mysterious 'Detective Ritual' (what the actual fuck is that? I still don't know) did keep me entertained for a while, just not enough for me to stick around to buy the last few books and read to the ending.
To sum up, the author has highly original ideas (you can find more of this guy's great ideas in his other series 'MPD Psycho'), it is just that his stuff might not be for everyone.

I did really enjoy this, but it really was just a set up for the next mangas. I'll be picking up the next ones in the series to see how this unfolds!

No sabía qué puntuación darle a este manga porque el principio llegó a aburrirme bastante y a parecerme completamente absurdo. Sin embargo, mejora mucho hacia el final y la última escena es un cliffhanger enorme que ha hecho que quiera leer por lo menos el segundo tomo.
No es fácil describir la historia. Por una parte, está la policía, que resuelve todo tipo de casos, pero llama al JDC (Club de Detectives de Japón) para los asesinatos. Por otra, hay un grupo de voluntarios, el BDC (Club de Detectives Voluntarios; y sí, se menciona lo ridícula que es la B si "voluntario" empieza por V). Ell BDC mete las narices en las investigaciones y los tres miembros que salen en este tomo tienen poderes paranormales. Éste fue el momento en el que el manga empezó a parecerme completamente absurdo. No porque tuvieran poderes, sino por el tipo de poderes. Por ejemplo, uno de ellos besa cadáveres para averiguar cosas sobre ellos.
El fallo más grande de este manga es que casi todo el tomo es una introducción sin importancia. Es sólo al final cuando el argumento comienza de verdad. Los casos anteriores están únicamente para que el lector vea el modo de investigar de los distintos grupos. Si no le hubiera echado un vistazo al final, probablemente lo habría dejado a la mitad.
Lo mejor es el último capítulo. Un poco antes se empieza a ver que hay algo que no cuadra. Ha habido asesinatos que se han encubierto demasiado bien y el JDC se vuelve un poco sospechoso en general. Y justo al final está esa última escena, que no revelaré, pero que ha hecho que, por mucho que me haya aburrido más de la mitad de este tomo, quiera leer el siguiente.
