She was good with kids, and the alpha male wanted more babies …
I’ve known Mandy Smith for years now, ever since she started coming over to babysit my daughter. Back then, Mandy was a gangly teen with buckteeth and braces, someone I barely noticed. But something’s changed since she was away at college.
The braces came off.
The brunette got contacts.
And holy hell, but the girl developed curves …
Because I’ve been divorced for years now, and my gorgeous babysitter would be the perfect mommy for more children – our children!
Note: This is a sexy, smutty romance that will make your cheeks burn and your panties melt! Guaranteed HEA. This book contains the bonus novella Double Massive for a limited time.
I can’t stand it, I literally hate it, when the beauty/perfection/flawlessness of the heroine is emphasised using non-perfection and “faults” of other women. It’s offensive and humiliating! I’ve seen more than my fair share of cunt and on a scale of one to ten, Mandy was twelve. She was perfectly symmetrical, with none of those gross flapping parts that some chicks have. And her smell, it was the heady scent of a female in heat, tangy, musky, none of that garbage shit that emanates from a woman who doesn’t clean down there. Yeah, like I said, I’ve seen it all, I’ve been with a lot of tramps. NO! NO! NO!

This is the most cringeworthy book I've read in a long time. And no I didnt even attempt to read the bonus book. From describing her vagina as a pink channel, to his penis as a fuck rod; from the heroine praising her love button as "having the biggest clit" and to the hero calling his body "Adonis" these are just few of the gems of writing I read in this.
How they refer to each other in the book: Teen, slut, brunette, alpha, daddy..and yeah..everything is repeated a million times..
Semen erupted from my pole, arcing across the bathroom to splash wetly in the tub, mixing with Mandy’s sweet cum as I pumped and pumped, goo oozing everywhere.
And fuck, but I was still coming, the white so copious and thick that I could have fathered five kids right there, there was so much sperm, so much goodness.
She was perfectly symmetrical, with none of those gross flapping parts that some chicks have. And her smell, it was the heady scent of a female in heat, tangy, musky, none of that garbage shit that emanates from a woman who doesn’t clean down there.
Just three examples of the brilliant writing and metaphors used to describe the acts in this book. The book is Safe with exceptions.. but I cant get over the way its written.
When I first saw this book in the New Releases, I thought I already had it. I checked and it turned out I had something else called Falling for the Babysitter, also just released, by Penny Wylder. So I downloaded this one and started reading. Then the Déjà vu kicked in.
The two books are so similar I started switching between the two to compare, and almost all the major plot points were the same. Which made me wonder; was one of the stories plagiarized? I don't know if they are, but it's awfully coincidental.
I like the younger woman and older man stories. This one is about an older man who is recently divorced and a young college girl who used to babysit his young daughter. She outgrew h e r thin frame and started to wear contacts and glasses. He sees her after a semester in college and asks her to help babysit his daughter during winter break and this is where the book gets steamy!
Unfortunately not much structure in the story. The story line itself was a good idea but when written it lacked unity. In some positive news, the sexy scenes were somewhat HAWT! Sorry, better luck next time Ms. D.

Mandy used to babysit for the Parker Family when Violet was just a baby. She knew this family very well, at least she thought she did. She was the geek girl with braces and stick straight bean pole. That has all changed since she went away to college. She filled out and developed curves. So it really was not a big surprise that when Mandy came home for Christmas break she was asked to babysit from Mr. Parker. She gladly accepted because she missed little Violet a lot. But she also missed Mr. Parker a lot too. Mandy dreamed of him and her together, in very yummy ways. Now she arrives to babysit and learns that Mrs. Parker left him and Violet. Shocked and stunned, the reaction that Mandy has to this news. Well she was here to help!
He heard that Mandy would be home from college for the Christmas break. He has had a rough time of it the last 6 months. His wife leaves him for the pool boy, Violet's nanny leaves because of the way the child has become, and he needs a sitter. Mr. Pete Parker has a date. He really is not looking forward to it, but he needs time out of the house too. Mr. Parker is stunned into silence when Mandy stands at the door. Gone is the braces, the awkward geeky girl who used to babysit. Now Mandy is all woman, and he is so not wanting to go on this date now, he talks with Mandy a little and leaves. The whole time he is on this date the woman he is with (a former lover) he is embarrassed and just wanting this disaster to be over. He heads home.
When he gets home it is past Violet's bed time and the house is quiet. He looks for Mandy to say thank you for helping him out, but he can't seem to find her. When he does, he is in for a surprise. Mandy didn't hear him come in, she is too busy with the moment she is in, and didn't even realize he had been there watching until she hears clapping. There is a chemistry between these two, despite the age difference. That part really doesn't matter to either of them. What does matter is Violet and their feelings towards each other.
They get together, delightfully, and she even moves into the guest house to save on her old car and travel. Mr. Parker (being called Pete by this time) went with Mandy to a family gathering and there is some excitement between these two during a boring slide show. Now it is time for her to go back to school, and this is not settling well with Mr. Parker. But these two are determined and meant to be together. They have alone moments and then back together moments. There are some ups and downs throughout the book, not horrible ones, but a test to any relationship. Spoiler alert, they do have a happily ever after. This was a book too hard to put down. Awesome book, very awesome.
Mandy was an eighteen-year-old college student home on winter break. She agrees to go babysit for a family that she used to babysit before leaving to go to college. During that time frame, there was changes for her. She filled out from being skinny to a very curvy woman. Pete was a forty-year-old divorced man that was needing a babysitter for his five-year-old daughter. His daughter was having a tough time since her mother left a year ago, so he gets Mandy to come over to watch his daughter since she watched her before. Pete and Mandy discovered that they had strong feelings for each other. So, to explore them Mandy moves in with Pete and his daughter to be his daughters nanny and Pete’s lover. Mandy was having feelings about not wanting to go back school. She wanted to be a mother but also didn’t want to disappoint her parents about getting a college education. So, at the end of winter break she goes back to college, feeling depressed that she was not pregnant thinking that if she got pregnant then she could quit school. How does Mandy and Pete work out where Mandy can go to school and still be a family or have the family they both want with each other? How does Mandy’s parents take this news? A very good book that has a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I enjoy reading Cassandra Dee’s books.
I loved reading Loving the Babysitter, all about Amanda Smith an eighteen year old college student and a babysitter & Pete Parker the father to my special little girl Violet Parker who is four. I've babysitting for Violet since she was born and she and I have a very special bond! But things have changed and not in a good way, her mother left and divorced her father. Now it's just the two of them, and it's very tough, since all the nanny help has quite, and none of the new nannies are clicking with Violet. So I have taken to working from home, and in the mornings she goes to half day day-care for socializing and in the afternoons she's home with me. It's been months since I've been out of the house or even dated, and I need this so Amanda is home from college and is coming to babysit Violet. The author wrote a very interesting story, that is s full of compassion and lots of mutual respect and loving gestures! I could not put it down! Their was also a bonus story included about Logan & Lance Phillips a twin brother team who happened to be Billionaire Real Estate moguels & Kacey Donnelly a young girl who reminds them of a childhood friend named Katheryn who died during a tragic bridge accident. It was another great story that I was unable to put down. So check out this book, i don't think you will be disappointed!
As much as I wanted to like this book, I honestly am a bit split on whether it's something I would consider reading again or not.
Falling in love with the babysitter is probably one of the most popular and one of my favorite tropes to read about. However, what turned me away from this book was the authors constant need to remind the reader about Mandy's plus size. I GET IT! SHE'S A CURVY CHICK! I don't need the author mentioning about her "jiggling bits" every freakin page.
I also didn't care much about Mandy's indecision throughout the book. She's an adult and still seemed to have a need to make her parents happy more than herself. For her graduating top of her class she seemed quite dumb when it came to making life choices. She needed somebody else to help point out that there aren't just 2 choices for every decision she needs to make about her life.
This would be classed a a taboo book where eighteen year old Mandy Smith has gone to babysit little Violet, only for find that nearly forty year old Pete Parker has divorced from his wife and both find that there is an instant attraction to the other that was not mutually there before.
The story moves along quickly and you find that Mandy actually seems very mature for her age, and Pete being a red blooded male finds that the attraction is just far too strong to ignore.
It's a fast read and the HEA had me smiling at the two and how they are still very much compatible all those years later.
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
I didn't hate the book. I knew what to expect going in so my feelings aren't really a disappointment over the content. I expected hot and fast and over the top and a hea. My issue is that Mandy is obvious plus sized which is fine. But what I don't get is when did jiggling flesh become sexy? It's realistic but nothing else about this is realistic. I'm in the minority here so I definitely recommend reading it for yourself to draw your own conclusions.
Wow what a sexy steamy story. Mandy goes to babysit for Mr. Parker. When she gets there she has no clue he is now single and sinfully hot. Peter Parker sees Mandy and how much she has grown . He wants her and will do anything to have her. Loved the instant connection these two have. Even though there is an age difference, it doesn't affect the story or how these two are with one another. I can't wait to read more!
I almost didn't finish this book, but that's a habit I'm not going to start. When I commit to starting a book, I see it through. It's also unlike me to give one star. This book however, was NOT my cup of tea. I'm actually a big fan of taboo/forbidden reads, when done with a bit of taste, and a logical story line. Pretty much, nothing worked for me in this book. From the over the top dirty talk, down to the nonsensical story line...
I found this read just ok, I expected more from it from the synopsis and blurbs I had read but felt like there was trying to be a story but somehow would get derailed every once in a while and then get back on track...
This was a bit underwhelming. Probably because of the many euphemisms that peppered this book. Don't get me wrong, am not fazed by smut or a bit of smexy depravity, if it adds to the story:
But I think my relationship with this particular genre is going to be brief. Have got the bonus book Double Massive and also her virgin series, so will dive in and hold off any conclusion on whether this author's overall style is for me.

“Loving the Baby Sitter” has all of the elements I enjoy (and search for) in a novel: insta-love/lust, a dominant alpha hero, innocent heroine and extreme heat. The authors writing style is engaging, providing a story that not only flows but easily retains the readers interest. Rather than utilize the overdone plot method of relying on a copious amount of angst, separation and evil ex’s, Ms. Dee follows a more contemporary and highly popular plot process of creating tension as well as interest through the attraction itself. Potential parental disapproval, surmountable obstacles and brief (rational) separation is effectively utilized to augment interest and keep the story fluid. Her writing style is professional with few grammatical errors or not enough to detract from the story. The main characters are easy to identify with and very likeable. The epilogue is both hot as well as endearing and provides a sweet HEA.
I’ve purchased and read nearly all of Ms. Dee’s work and “Loving the Baby Sitter” is one of my favorites.
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. The characters were very well done, Mandy is a caring, loving, and quite mature college student who reaches out to a young child Violet and her recently divorced dad Pete. With Violet's mother having moved out of her life, Violet was acting out and their senior aged nanny had quit. Pete calls Mandy to babysit for a date night but then decides Mandy is who he wants in his life. "Because the teen was perfect for me. Everything about her, that sweet sensuous body, the dulcet voice...she was perfect, one hundred percent. And all I wanted was more...as much Mandy as possible, as soon as possible." "Maybe this is what it meant to be a teen. I wanted direction, focus, but instead was fumbling, flailing wildly, trying to keep it together as I spiraled out of control internally." "...a man had never plumbed those sweet depths, never caressed her inside, never tasted that pussy?" This was a fun and sexy little story, I enjoyed every moment of Mandy's firsts; her confusion about her life plan and want she really wanted to out of it. Typical teenage thoughts and feelings combined with feeling love for the first time with your first lover. Excellent book.
Cassandra Dee is the type of author that you just want to read more of as each book just keeps getting better and better. This is Mandy and Peter's story. Peter is a forty year old, divorced man and self made millionaire. Mandy is a college student home over winter break who is called to babysit five year old Violet, Peter's daughter. Violet is going through a turbulent time as her mother has left and abandoned her and Peter. When Mandy arrives, Violet is elated and Peter is taken aback as Mandy has become a sexy, curvy and very attractive woman. Mandy has always harbored fantasies of Peter, a gorgeous alpha male, but never thought anything would come of it. Over the course of spending time with one another, they start falling for one another but Mandy battles with her feeling of her growing love for Peter versus what her parents and society dictate her life should be. Can Peter and Mandy find a compromise to get their happily ever after? Is Mandy strong enough to go after what she truly wants? This is an engaging read of the challenges that a young woman faces when falling in love with an older man while trying to figure out her life's path. I voluntarily read a copy of this book for a review.
Loving The Babysitter is about Mandy and Pete. Mandy was the Parker's babysitter for years until she went off to college. She's back in town on winter break and Mr. Parker (Pete) has asked for her to babysit during the break. She agrees, happy to take care of Violet. Turns out, Mrs. Parker left, Violet is acting out, and the nanny quit, not able to care for her anymore. Now that Mandy is 18, she filled out during her months away, and he is divorced, Pete really notices her and wants her. Mandy, though a virgin, also wants Pete.
Though the sex scenes were steamy, I didn't care for the daddy references or when he would call her a slut or a whore (though I understand that is par for the course in these books sometimes). It is a short read, so I know we can't get too far inside their relationship, but it just seemed too quick for everything for me (sex, love, etc). It just didn't vibe for me.
Mandy is an eighteen year-old college student home on winter break who is babysitting for extra money for tuition. She goes to the Parker house to babysit for her favorite little girl, Violet, and learns that Mr. Parker is now single and Violet is throwing temper tantrums. Mr. Peter Parker and Mandy have a connection and begin a relationship together. Mandy however has issues with what she wants and what her parents and what society wants for her. She struggles throughout the book and you just want to take her and shake her sometimes but she is young so I can understand her view. I loved all the naughty, sexy, dirty parts in this book, I think my favorite part is the beginning with the tub. Cassandra is a good writer and I can't wait to read more. I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
For some, and I do understand why, this book will be a 5 star read. It's just not for me. This book was a DNF at 39%. After that, I just couldn't continue. I tried, I really did, but I couldn't. The heroine just seemed to go back and forth between grown, sexy seductress to a self deprecating little girl. That and she went back and forth between calling the H Mr. Parker, Pete, and Daddy. i feel like if hes taken your virginity and has had you in his bed over a dozen times while TRYING to get you pregnant, the Mr. Parker formality should stop. The hero had zero believable emotion. I feel like the author read some smut books and tried to recreate them in a dirtier way without the steam. I don't know. Again, I'm sure a ton will love this book. I just didn't.
I 'm sorry, but these stories just didn't do it for me. In fact I often found myself cringing, thinking the protagonists needed therapy not each other. I love good erotica just as much as the next person, but the constant role play of Pete, who is initially indicated to be 20 years older than Mandy, but later in the story he gains an extra 2 years, and Mandy, who only months previously was 'stick thin', but now sounds like she has gained 100 pounds, is off putting. Her referring to him as 'Daddy', and his comments that 'Little girls don't say no to their daddies', and 'this little girl is gonna be punished if she doesn't do as Daddy orders' come across in the story as being more disturbing, and molestation based, than steamy. Hopefully, not all of Cassandra Dee's stories are like this, or I may be giving her a wide berth.
i am home from the college for the summer term and I got asked to babysit the loving little girl I have babysat with for a long time and her dad is hot so when I get there I find out that he is getting a divorcee from his wife and I have always had a thing for him so after she was asleep I went and had a bath in his room I thought it was the spare room and I had a awesome time in the tub and that is when he found me in there and I said his name when I came I boy and he wants me too a a dream come true and that is the first of it loved this book it was so hot and steamy read and so good I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and you wont be disappointed to get this one Yeah.
