Richard Dolan Lecture #1

The Secret Space Program and Breakaway Civilization

Rate this book
Is there a secret space program that is connected in some way to UFOs? In this booklet, historian Richard Dolan delves into this question, one of the most discussed in ufology today. Providing a wealth of data and context for the reader, he offers his own conclusion: yes, there is indeed such a program. But this program is not a simple extension of the normal operations of the U.S. government or military, much less of NASA. Instead, it seems to be the product of what Dolan has previously termed a "breakaway civilization," a radically advanced and increasingly separate structure that has access to classified science and data denied to the rest of us.Adapted from his classic lecture at the Secret Space Program and Breakaway Civilization conference in San Mateo, this is now offered as a volume in the Richard Dolan Lecture Series.

This gets two stars rather than one, because some of the things Mr. Dolan says about the black budget and the security state make sense. The rest...?

Look, if you're going to make an extraordinary claim, you have to have extraordinary evidence. If your "evidence" consists of:

1) Remote viewing

2) Telepathic contact with Aliens

3) Second and third-hand "eyewitness" accounts from people you can't, or won't, name; or from people whom you will name, but who are conveniently dead,

Then my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

For those that don’t know, Richard Dolan is a scholar, historian, and renown researcher within the field of alternative research.

Dolan’s research has been integral in bringing in a fresh new point of view within the field of UFOlogy. This incisive and cursory overview on the Breakaway Civilization works exemplifies this rather trenchantly, in which he postulated in UFOs & The National Security State – Volume 2 and coined the term “Breakaway Civilization”.

In The Secret Space Program & Breakaway Civilization Dolan elaborates on his Breakaway Civilization hypothesis rather intricately, although in a much more accessible manner given the length of the book.

This booklet is a salient synopsis of the presentation he gave in San Mateo, CA in 2014 at the Secret Space Program & Breakaway Civilization Conference.

Admittedly, if you have seen that particular presentation of Dolan on youtube, then this will be nothing new except in a written format. However, if you are new to the subject, or want to have a written reference for what Dolan discussed in his presentation, then this book is certainly for you.

Dolan begins discusses UFO reports, statistics and the ongoing phenomena. Thereafter, the author discusses the fascinating story of Ingo Swann and his remote viewing prowess. Swann’s findings and experience add significant depth to the book given his unique skillset and credibility. The fact that remote viewing experimentations were taking place decades ago within the military shows how vital this type of discipline was to reconnaissance of not only events on Earth, but far beyond.

Later on in the book, Karl Wolfe’s testimony is discussed, which he shared during the Disclosure Project. Also touched upon is Donna Hare’s testimony regarding having to airbrush any evidence of UFOs, as well as the story of Vito Saccheri.

Throughout the book Dolan homes in on the implications of the SSP & Breakaway Civilization and how these interweave with our reality in myriad ways. This is appreciated given how many new folks will be reading this particular subject, and to have this subject analyzed and spoken about in a methodical, no-nonsense but in-depth and open-minded way is definitely refreshing.

Another data point delved into is Leonard Stringfield’s finding of “the crash retrieval syndrome” coupled with some cases which are highly provocative to say the least.

Also noted within the book is Dolan’s take of what journalist James Goodall was told, which regarded highly advanced technologies stationed at the Nevada desert at the time.

Most notably, Dolan makes sure to mindfully unthread many of the deeper implications that the subjects of Secret Space Programs and Breakaway Civilizations entail, as well as why it’s vital for the SSP & Breakaway Complex to maintain control of the subject and more importantly, the sciences and the technological advantages that have been derived from them.

Also glanced upon is the ever illusive paradox of disclosure, while also giving light to some of the more notable renderings that relate to footage of UFOs, such as the STS 114 footage.

Dolan also gives his take on what he sees as the most likely current scenario of the topic at hand, while also giving a cursory glance to the possible goals of the handlers of this abstruse subject.

Finally, Dolan gives his take on what individuals can do to detach from the control system and help bring about change in this discipline as well as others.

In its totality, the book not only gives individuals a hardcopy of one of Richard Dolan’s best presentations, but it’s also a different way of assimilating information. Different people learn in different ways, and having this type of media for people to learn is highly helpful for those that learn more efficiently through books rather than in a visual or audio format.

This book, or perhaps most notably, the idea of a Breakaway Civilization and Secret Space Program, helps connect dots from many seemingly disparate pieces within the alternative research field in a way that helps shed light onto the darkness that abounds many subjects, while considering more nefarious possibilities that these connections portend.

Having said that, we need cognize deeply about how the world looks a century from now, and how that will be proportional to how individuals today decide to live their lives in relation to this topic and those that revolve around it. If individuals choose to educate themselves and others by becoming autodidacts, while also inciting change at the community level as Richard Dolan has and continues to do, then the world will in fact begin to change accordingly.

The world of tomorrow begins today, and we can either be a catalyst of change, or we can get swept by the tide.

Eye opening

Again, Richard Dolan covers a lot of ground very quickly and enthusiastically. Good introduction to his longer works on authoritarian control of secret information regarding the Others who have clearly visited us again and again over time. Dolan proposes some good routes to address information control

I see some very thought provoking and thought nourishing information contained in this first book I have read from Mr. Dolan. The information he provides has made me question the powers that be and the believability of our news medias.

I recommend this book to all who want to be enlightened.Sorting through the massive amount of information that is presently out there on the subject of UFOs is daunting! The clarity and logic of the information presented was very well understood.

Comprehensive but limited

This book is actually the text of a speech, and while it touches upon most if not all of the salient points of the UFO/ET phenomenon, and it doesn't go very deeply into any of them.

I thought Dolan would provide some original information, but didn't realize until opening it the book is simply a slightly edited version of one of his lectures. Worse, he's not making hardly evidence-based claims or observations here and reaches far too often in many areas. All of this is quite a shame, since he's largely responsible for creating the concept of a Breakaway Civilization. Even if there isn't much to build on to begin with, he's certainly not making any serious attempt to do so here.
