Ben Jacobs owns a surf shop with his two siblings. However, he's finding it hard to pretend that surfing is the only thing in life. Stuck in the same old groove, he wants to settle down. When he meets a certain redhead, his world is turned upside down. Ben has thirty days to convince her, he is the man for her. Liz McGreary is in California to do research for her new and up coming book. She is a romance writer with a total lack of actual romance experience, being a widow for ten years and having an eighteen-year-old daughter. Liz finds herself alone for the first time to do as she pleases, and gets more that she bargained for when, she meets Ben Jacobs.
Ben and his siblings own a surf shop that had belonged to his parents and after his Daddy died, they knew their Mom couldn’t handle by herself. Ben does most of the work, because his sister moved away, and his brother comes and goes as he pleases, usually he has a date, which is a different girl everyday. Ben doesn’t want that, he wants one special Lady but he hasn’t met her yet… until Liz walks into the surf shop. Liz, a widowed, single mom came to California from New Jersey to do research on a book she is writing. She isn’t looking for a man, love, or anything that goes with it…until she walks into the surf shop. The attraction is there but can she step out of her comfort zone and learn to live? No way it would never work, but at least she can dream, or possibly Ben can prove to her, that she needs to take a chance. The characters are awesome and wait another character has stepped into the picture, and oh my goodness! Things are about to get interesting!
