Ilona Andrews is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)
Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Oregon with their two children, three dogs and a cat. They have co-authored two series, the bestselling urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and romantic urban fantasy of The Edge.

I love Curran so I always enjoy the chance to get inside his head. This is his POV from the Conclave in Magic Bleeds where he walks in to the meeting between the Pack and the People only to spot Kate in the restaurant with Saiman. If you've read Magic Bleeds you'll already know exactly how unhappy that makes him LOL. I have to admit this is probably my least favourite Curran POV, it doesn't really add much to the story and I would have liked it to be longer than it is but it's still a fun read and it's free so there really isn't anything to complain about!
This is what went on in Curran's head when he showed up for the Pack/People/etc. meeting at Bernard's, and saw Kate there with Saiman. HIGHLY entertaining.
I don't know what this one adds to the series really. It was pretty clear in the book what Curran was thinking during this scene, without rehashing his POV here. It's the part where Curran goes to a meeting with the 'People' at a restaurant where Kate is playing guard disguised as date to an inebriated Siaman. But it cuts short before the good stuff.
Extremely short glimpse into Curran’s thoughts when he saw Saiman & Kate together at Bernard’s. Ahh how insecure both Kate & Curran were about how they thought the other felt.
(Magic Bleeds) - I mean ok YES I love seeing the interaction at Bernards but how you not gonna finish the scene and give us the chase and first fuck?!? *sad face*
The scene at the fancy dinner club where a dressed up Kate and a drunken Samain encounter Curran and the shapeshifters and Samain shows his ass. I forgot what an idjit he was in this book. Curran, of course, is awesome. Way too short.
I don't believe I've read this particular scene from Curran's POV and while Conclave was appreciated, I wish we had gotten more. And by more, I mean all of that stuff that happened after Saiman, Kate, and Curran left Bernard's. It would've been nice to see what hunting Saiman was like through Curran's eyes.
This snippet is at the restaurant, Curran's point of view when he sees Kate with Saiman. It was way too short I definitely would have liked his side of the story for the rest of that evening.
