For years, Spencer Lyons has been a devoted best friend to Max Ramirez, helping him through break up after break up. But Spencer has never let Max know his true feelings -- he’s been in love with his best friend for years.
It doesn’t occur to Max that club-hopping Spencer has deeper feelings for him. When he does learn of Spencer’s love, Max begins to wonder ... should he admit to the love he feels himself and risk losing his best friend if it ends in yet another break up? Or will Spencer always be devotedly his?

Again nice story, but I've had some problems figuring out the complications in the MC's relationship. Strange people noticed Max's attraction toward Spence, but he himself hadn't been aware of it, still he somehow wanted Spance, but was afraid to be cheated on, but... but... but xD All in all I loved they resolved it in the end!
This is a very cute Friends to Lovers story about Max and Spencer. They've been best friends since college - 10 years - but Spencer has always loved Max. Max keeps going through boyfriends and Spencer keeps going through Max look alike hookups at the clubs.
Then one of Max's dates gropes Spence, but tries to lie his way out of it. He tells Max that Spence has only said it because he wants Max for himself. Max confronts Spence and Spence tells him the truth. But Max doesn't want to screw up their friendship. Spence is hurt but he tell Max he just needs some time and things will just be the same as they've always been.
Will they be able to stay friends? Will anything change? You'll have to read it to find out. Or you can click on the spoiler.
Good short m/m romance about a guy who goes to clubs and hooks up with anyone who reminds him of the best friend he's been crushing on since college... the best friend who's never been interested in him. Things seemed to happen much too quickly at the ending, and not in a way that would help build trust about the friend's concern.
Best-friends-turn-lovers... We all know how the story goes. So, it's all on the execution and the settings. I like really this one. One of my favorites: people surrounding the MCs know that they are meant for each other. The only ones don't know are, well, the MCs themselves.
I liked this book more than the last one for sure. I wanted to smack Max upside the head a time or two (Spencer, too) but in the end, these two best friends finally realized that they deserve to be together.
I like friends-to-lovers stories. And this one was really sweet if heartbreaking. It was good to see why they did not want to try for a relationship and also the pain it caused them both. I liked the ending a lot
I enjoyed this one more than the previous one in this series. Good, fluffy story...I know I'm in for a quick, relatively angst free read when I read something from Shawn Lane!
max and Spencer best friends forever, max wants a steady boyfriend , and Spencer wants max but max doesnt, because of Spencer doesnt think he wants a boyfriend. But things are going to change.
