Hedone Eros ve Psyche'in kızı.

Bee'yi sevdim. Çok hareketli aslında iyi niyetli biri. Kankası Mac'le olan ilişkilerineyse bayıldım! İki kız her yanı dağıtıyorlar :D Bee potansiyeli Austin'in ilgisini çekmek için olayın aşkla ilgisi olduğunu düşünmedi tabii başta.

ARC received for an honest review

It has been a while since I have read a Kirsty Dallas book, but what a way to get back in there!

Stupid Love is a little bit paranormal, a little bit contemporary, and a whole lot of fun.

Grounded to the mortal realm, meet Bee Cupid (yes, of those cupid's). She is in for a dose of her own medicine when the gods (who are also her parents) tell her she has to fall in love to know how it feels.

I freaking adore Bee and her BFF Mac. They are quirky, and fun, mischief makers and masters of mayhem.

Enter their potential lovers, Austin and Walker. Talk about a couple of guys who would make even the hardest of hearts melt.

Kirsty Dallas had me hooked from the blurb. The story flowed, the characters jumped off the pages, I laughed out loud at times whilst reading.

Ms Dallas has a way with words, and she draws me in every single time.

Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

So Phoibe aka Hedone (pronounced Head-One but don't call her that to her face or she'll go all Rocky on your ass), is the only child of Eros, the god of love. Born into the family of love meant when she came of age, she automatically took up a bow and arrow and went to the mortal realm to shoot potential soul mates. The thing is, Phoibe hates love. Instead of following her fathers orders to help bring soul mates together and increase the success of love on Earth - blah, blah, blah - Phoibe shoots anything but potential soul mates. She and her BFF, Mac aka Macaria (the alleged daughter of Hades), spend their days traveling the mortal realm, drinking cocktails, sunbathing and creating chaos. When Eros decides he's had enough of his daughters rebellious ways, he shoots her with one of her own arrows, then proceeds to shoot her potential soul mate with an arrow of indifference. The best way to learn about love, is to fall into it.

Cripes, Phoibe is grounded to the mortal realm, and slightly obsessed with a muscled, sexy, toe curling mortal who she just wants to climb like a stage five clinger! And Austin isn't going to 'see' her until she starts peeling back a few layers and exposes the not so icy heart beneath.

Plenty of LOL moments, a great supporting cast and a catchy tune (Sam Cooke's 'Cupid'), I have no doubt that if you enjoy a RomCom and prefer your romance without drama, Stupid Love is the book for you!

With brilliant characters and a story that was just a little bit different, "Stupid Love" kept me entertained with every turn of the page. I loved this lighthearted and fun read.

"Love was for losers, the special kind
who used the wrong hand to make an 'L' on their forehead."

Bee had an extremely cynical view of love and stayed away from any kind of romance, which was kind of hilarious considering her family background and her job. Bee's surname was Cupid and her family business was all about helping people fall in love. Just as long as Bee didn't fall in love too. I loved Bee, she was a bright and breezy character that appeared to be having heaps of fun with best friend and partner in crime, Mac. Mac was an equally lovely character that I enjoyed getting to know and even though she was a secondary character, she supplied me with a truck load of amusement.

"Just go with it, Bee. Stop fighting and see how effing great love can be."

The story that was delivered by Kirsty was something different to most of the books that I'm reading at the moment and I enjoyed the refreshing change. It was an easy read with a slight paranormal aspect, which I found highly comical and appealing. And I just loved the romance element of the story. It was sweet and swoony without being over-the-top sickly sweet. It was just an all-round fabulous read about falling in love.

"Him and me, forever. Nothing had ever been so damn right."

If you are looking for a fun and lighthearted read, this one was well worth the read.

Stupid Love - A standalone comedy romance that’s a little bit contemporary and a little bit paranormal, by bestselling author Kirsty Dallas - the author.
This sums it up pretty much.
Meet Hedone - Phoibe - Bee Cupid. She´s the daughter of the goddess Psyche and the god Eros.
She doesn´t believe in HEA- " love is for losers " .
With this witty and fun read Kirsty Dallas proves that love isn´t for losers- at all, no it´s love conquers all.
Stupid love is a beautiful love story, beautifully thought out, beautifully written and beautifully told. I love the words, the story and the characters. I could feel the characters emotions in the words.
I recommend Stupid Love and give 5 stars. Thank you so much, Kirsty Dallas!

I liked it from beginning to end, but since it took me a long time to read it, I lost some emotion in the middle of the book, because at first I thought it would be in my favorites. Poor thing is more a matter of me and time on other things, so I hope to reread it in the future and see if my perception changes, so I have no hesitation in recommending it, it was a great story.

I love Bee and Austin's relationship, hahaha it didn't start as one wanted but that was the joke, that Bee will show her weapons to win him over and in the process understand that love is once in a lifetime. I was glad that she noticed and fixed her mistakes. Just as Austin made me angry but he is not far behind, he still deserved his slaps for being a moron, here I needed a little bit of suffering but that's okay, it had a nice outcome.

Mac and Walker were super cool, the two complemented each other and were very supportive of their friends. I was surprised with him, his level of wisdom really struck me, yes, he made me laugh a lot in the last few chapters, hahaha just remembering...

*

LEEANN'S REVIEW
5 STARS

Ever thought about what cupid does when not firing those pesky arrows into unsuspecting lovers butts? Well have a read of this book and find out!
My knowledge of Greek mythology is pretty much zero so for me this book was pure entertainment and I hope that if anyone is into the facts of mythology that they read this book and take it in the spirit it was meant to be taken. Kirsty Dallas has let her creative juices run wild with this one and has pulled it off with absolute brilliance.

Pheibe Cupid (Bee) has no interest in love. She and her offsider Mac cause complete mayhem everywhere they go. Their antics had me in hysterics at times. When Austin comes along he quite literally turns Bee’s world upside down.
This book is fresh and fun and very different from anything I have read in while. I found myself so caught up in the story and the adventure that I lost track of time and it was 3am before I knew it.
I can say in all honesty that the character development is astounding and who they are at the beginning of the book is very different to who they are at the end.
The journey I was taken on in this story was completely unexpected but absolutely delightful. The anticipation was tangible, the feelings real and the storyline fantastic.

There are lots of romance stories available on the market at the moment and I can say in all certainty that none of them are quite like this. Kirsty Dallas has written an original, funny and sexily entertaining romance that will keep you captivated from page 1 right up until the very end.

I absolutely FLOVED this book!!

Arc received from the author for an honest review.

I love a story with some Greek mythology thrown in and of course how can you not have a love story without some cupid. So when I got the chance to read this novel I jumped at it. I am so happy to say that it was exactly what I hoped it would be.

This novel follows Phoibe Cupid (aka Bee aka Hedone) the daughter of goddess Psyche and the god Eros. And yes she is from that family of Cupids. But while her parents are all about making the perfect matches and have spent thousands of years doing just that, our Bee is different. She doesn't believe in love and with her bbf Mack at her side they have more fun making trouble and lust matches. Its hard to explain my love for Bee. She is everything I love in a fun novel heroin. Then though in Mack and you cant help but what to read about these two. When Bee's father, Eros, literally grounds her on Earth with no option but to go after her happy ending you cant help but not be able to put the novel down. What's better then reading about Cupids' daughter falling in love and finding out just how wrong she was about love not being worth it.

If you love a sassy female, a swoon worthy perfect match , and a little Gods thrown in for good measure then this is the novel for you.

I was lucky enough to receive an Advanced Reader's Copy of Stupid Love, and boy was I thrilled with it! Kirsty Dallas is the master of romantic comedies, in my opinion, and did not disappoint with Stupid Love!

Bee and Mac are such fun and quirky characters and I was reminded a lot of myself and my best friend when reading about them. They're BFF's, partners in crime and haters of love! Or is it just that they don't understand the power of love?

Austin and Walker are so incredibly swoon-worthy and I found myself falling in love with them right from the word go; I mean who doesn't love insanely hot men that know how to please (and tease) a woman?

Stupid Love is a stand out read and one not to be missed! It's a great laugh and a beautiful love story all wrapped up into one neat package tied with an awesome paranormal twist bow. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Loved this book so much. I've always loved Greek mythology and this story gave it a fun and exciting twist.

I've been glued to my iPad all day, no matter what I just couldn't put this book down. I just adored the characters and their witty and wild personalities. I was literally in fits of laughter through this book, the constant banter between Bee and Mac was just classic. I'm writing this with a huge smile cause I can still hear them in my head lol.

Another book to add to my faves list. Definitely one I'd pick up again and definitely a book I'd recommend reading.

This was my very first Kristy Dallas book and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I didn't exactly realize what I was getting into when I started this book.

Stupid Love is a cross between a Paranomral story and a Contemporary story. It is fun and a little different. It's energizing and marches to beat of its own drum.

Fun game on the Gods

Bee and Mac were fun. I like how they took in Goth Boy.
Austin was a bit of a jerk, even after the indifference arrow obstacle was overcome.
A few things were left undone, what happens to Maive? Why does Mac always wear a hat?
There were a few editing errors, but they weren't enough to detract from the story.

Bee and Mac are a couple of immortal besties out to have some fun. Bee is a Cupid who has been having a little fun with her arrows until her Dad steps in and not only grounds her to the mortal world but shoots her and her potential Austin with arrows.
Stupid Love is a little different than your standard romcom but is definitely full of fun and love.

It was a fun read.
Seeing a whole goddess like Bee struggling to conquer her soul mate, when he was infected with indifference, was very funny why when that goddess is used to everything going her way, conquering a man becomes a battle of wills, ha, ha, ha, ha.
The little drama gave it a little bit of interest and also had its fun, although the happily ever after came without much pain.
