I rated this book a three because I am not a big fan of nonfiction books. I find that some of the facts are interesting and some are just flat out boring. Overall the book gives some pretty interesting facts. I would encourage readers who want to learn more about the earths past.

THe only virtue of this book is that it's easy to read and on a subject likely to appeal to reluctant readers.
