Sundari Venkatraman is an Indie Author who has 76 self-published books to her credit. These books have consistently featured in the Top 100 Bestseller Lists on Amazon India, Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada and Amazon Australia in both romance as well as Asian Drama categories. Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles.
Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years.
Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back.

*You can never go wrong with the books authored by Sundari Venkatraman*

It was the last time when I lost count of the books I read by this author. It is sometimes so overwhelming to see a book by your favorite author coming back to back and you just cannot stop keeping your hands on them. 😁

*Finding Anya* A contemporary fictional romance book that will excite the one deeply interested in Romance Genre.

It is a story about Anya who got married to her childhood friend Farhan. She was just in her twenties when she tied the knot with her childhood best friend because of her parents, relatives, and the thought of Society.

However, their marriage did not last long, they mutually decided to part ways and get themselves out of the marriage without their parent's concern.

And then all the excitement starts with a terrible twist to her life! Anya left with all the excitement in her eyes for the life she always dreamt of, but she had something else written by Lord, She met with a very bad accident because of which she lost her memory. She was left with no power over her memory. A complete stranger took her to the hospital.

Stranger!! Wait what, read the book to understand, how it all started for Dev! Was it really his second chance and reunite with Anya?

I bet you won't be disappointed with Dev's character, just follow my footsteps and grab your copies 😆😆😁

● I always see a good romantic book coming from the authors side!

● It is a fast paced story yet an interesting one with some tragedic and some cute twists and turns.

● Like always, I cannot deny that Sundari is one of the best writer in the romantic genre. Her books have that persona.

● Finding Anya is a simplistic approach yet very interesting read, The book cover is so mesmerizing, every reader can get attracted to.

● On point narration and Character development. Language is simple and lucid, very easy to understand.

Over all one of the mild and short read!

There are cliché romances and then there are books that actually live up to the name of its genre and my heart soars to say that this one falls in the latter category. I will say this once, but with as much emphasis as I can, why is it that novels like Spanish Love Deception have all this hype around them that they don't actually deserve while this one, that actually sends an entire nest of butterflies flying in my stomach, not talked about more? The characters are worth it(both the male and female protagonists are caring, but also focused, and hence don't have the IQ of a used condom. They are emotionally independent, know their worth, something so rare and so appreciated, but are also genuine in their relationships), and the plot is imaginative. The cottage core aesthetic the author has chosen to employ is quite unique, especially in Indian novels, and it really lights up my heart(pun intended). The narration is smooth and to-the-point so the reader dosen't get bored, and it gets a thousand brownie points for the multiple POVs and the LGBTQ+ representation (needless to say I love Farhan and Arth and am rooting for them forever). There are no grammatical errors either(opposed to some *cough* other hyped books). Book lovers really needs to sort their priorities. If you're a fan of second chance romances, sweet friendships, an amazing grandmother, family reconciliations and a psycho neighbour who's trying to sabotage the relationship, this one is for you. Definitely recommended!

YES!
+Indian Romance set in Mumbai!
+Second chance romance! Anya and Dev had gone a date 5 years ago, but then things got complicated with their parents expectations regarding an arranged marriage between them. Dev happens to be the one who sees Anya's car get hit and takes her to the hospital where he doesn't leave her side.
+Amnesia! I'm normally not a fan of amnesia, but this one felt believable and I was cheering for Anya!
+Anya and Farhan's friendship!
+No ridiculous break up drama!

NO!
-A bit repetitive for being so short. The characters have the same conversations a few time. Which would have been okay if Anya's short-term memory was affected, but it wasn't.
-Renu was a bit unbelievable.

Do you have any favourite author whose book you pick without any second thoughts?

I don't read much romance genre. However, Sundari Venkatraman's writing and plot make me read romance-fictions, and I always wait for the next book after finishing the last one.

"Finding Anaya" is a work of fiction in the contemporary romance genre penned down by "Sundari Venkatraman." The story is focused on themes like a second chance, family drama, emotional challenges, and true friendship. It will suit readers who love reading romance with a realistic approach.

The book followed the story of Anya from Chandigarh, who got married early at the age of twenty-two because of her conventional thinking parents and nosy relatives. She tied the knot with her childhood best friend, Farhaan Merchant, and her parents were happy at getting her married, and soon their task is completed. After two years, Farhaan and Anya divorced with mutual concern without intimating their family.

She left the court with dreamy eyes of her bright future; unfortunately, destiny had decided something else for her, and she met with the car accident and woke up in hospital with her lost memories and a stranger in front of her.

Dev Wadhwa was the stranger who saved her life; however, he recognized Anya in one sight when he brought her hospital. He thought it was destiny to give him a second chance with Anya. Will Anya take a second chance with her lost memory? And how will she deal with her medical condition, ex-husband, and not-so-understanding parents?

"Finding Anya" deftly captures the emotions and challenges of the young generation wrapped with the blanket of romance, togetherness, and friendship. Anya's story is highly relatable and authentic, particularly the family dynamics and conflicts. I love the true friendship between Anya and Farhaan and I crave having a friend like him in my life.

Dev's character is also inspiring and resonates with many youths who want to pursue their dreams and passion but unable to proceed because of family pressure. Dev proves as an example to that. And things were not easy for Farhaan also, as he was forced to live a double life.

The story not only focuses on women's challenges in society but also reflects the challenges a youngster faces to disclose his identity, follow their dreams, and especially the turmoil to find balance in life.

Overall, "Finding Anya" is a character-driven story that will suck you in from the first page.

Finding Anya by Sundari Venkatraman is a fictional story of the romance genre and a very engaging and amazing one.

Our storyline revolves around our main protagonists that are Anya and Dev. Anya’s family like any other typical Indian family are constantly pressuring her to get married , Anya’s best friend Farhan is kind of in a similar situation but different that you will find out when you read the book.So here they are , both in conundrum , hence in true best friend fashion they decided to help each other out. You’re right , they got married to each other and dodged the constant nagging from their families , but of course their marriage was nothing but a ruse and after some time they decided to get divorced. After the divorce, Anya felt free and excited to start the new chapter of her life and the world was her oyster.

Dev , our male protagonist , although he had met Anya only once years ago , she had left an impression on him and he hadn’t been able to forget her ever since , but during the time he met Anya was when he was totally invested in his career and had no intentions of settling down or pursuing a romantic connection.

Okay fast forwarding to now , it’s been years. Anya has been married and divorced and she couldn’t be any happier to start her post divorce life but things take a turn for the worse , she meets with an accident and loses her memory , in medical terms she’s diagnosed with Amnesia and has no memory of her past. Right at the accident spot guess who was there? Dev , years have went by but he still remembers her just as she was.

Well I can’t give away the entire story can I? But just by reading this review I’m sure I left you wondering about how the story unfolds. The twists are the biggest merits of the story and is what makes it stand out. I enjoyed reading it and wasn’t able to put it down as I was too invested in Dev and Anya and their story.

Moving on to the writing , narration and the language used , they are amazing , impeccable and lucid , respectively. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend it to a fellow bibliophile.

Farhan and Anya.

To the world and their parents, they looked like a happily married couple. In reality, they are a man and wife only on paper. Farhan is gay and Anya is constantly pressurized by her family to marry as soon as possible. They are two best friends who helped each other out.

Their marriage is a facade that lasted only for two years. And hence, they divorced.

Anya never felt more alive. The world, after her divorce, seemed to be wide and free, beckoning her to experience the life and love she never really experienced before. Her joy however was short-lived as she meets with an accident and faces a partial loss of Memory, amnesia. She couldn't recollect a single personal memory from the day before the accident.

Dev Wadhwa.

A man from Anya's past. His encounter with Anya was brief but it was one of his strongest and most bittersweet memory. He never imagined he would meet Anya again and that too at the scene of her accident! He made the mistake of losing her once but he resolves not again!

The doctors warned that Anya might never be able to regain her memory. Hence, Anya moves in with Dev and his Dadima as her parents are too self centred to give the care and attention she needed.
It was soothing to read the tender care and affection shown by Dev towards Anya.

The narration and story build-up was impressive and engrossing. I felt myself glued to the screen turning page after page and diving into the story. I loved the character of Dadima. Wish I had someone like that in my life. All the scenes and characters felt real and relatable. Overall it's a very interesting novel. Do give it a read!

Anya, a happy ambitious 22 year old girl belongs to a orthodox family. A disapproving mother and an indifferent father and with some annoying neighbours her childhood passed in a cage. She have to marry Farhan in a tender age but to her destiny he became her best friend. To have some peace in her life she got divorced and in a journey to have independent life met with an accident and forgot everything even her name.

Dev Completed his study from USA but his instinct drag him to India and want to continue with his farm. He wants to be successful and earn huge money but in his own country. His father is different and wanted his son to live in USA so that he could praise himself. But Dev is different.

At the Accident spot, Dev Wadhwa came to her rescue and he take her home to make a comfortable place for her.

But would you go with someone random from the road to your home?

Does Dev knows something about Anya?

Would Anya ever be able to remember her past?

What Is the connection between Dev and Anya?

How will Anya find her family after her memory loss?

Most importantly, who is Dev?

A simple easy cosy read. The desi romance, sweet little moments and the story is quite simple and sober. The signature writing style of Sundari Mam. I expected more like it's a little predictable. I am searching for the moment where there will be a twist and different but couldn't find it. I hope there would be more elements of Farhan's life. How he spend his life with Arth so the book would be a wholesome package of societal issue with a tinge of romance.

Rather than that it's a perfect read for beginners even for rom com lovers who just want to read something easy breezy.

Sweet romance
Anya's story in the book starts a little unconventionally as she happily divorces her husband, Farhan. However even before that can sink in, she meets with a terrible accident.
In comes Dev, who recognises Anya and makes sure she gets the right treatment.
The story then brings out Anya and Dev's past, Anya's parents and their love story that could not be, in the past.
Things turn worse in the present as Anya loses her memory. She is unwilling to build on anything with Dev when she is missing a chunk of her memory.
Dev is a memorable character as a man whose family expectations and his own dreams clash with each other and added on top of it, he is in despair because the woman he loves does not remember him.
He tries to build something new with Anya which does not seem to end well because of her short term memory loss. Renu does not help either.
Farhan and Arth were a pleasant surprise.
Overall a sweet story as the two lead characters try to find love again.

Life isn’t constant to anyone and so are the phases of life, always unpredictable. The entire concept of living up in a life happily, at times appears to be a myth when nothing happens the way one makes efforts and later on desires to possess. Author Sundari, being an experienced one with her work which I’ve been noticing now regularly, has been truly impressive with the work showcased. The book is a pathway figure for the reader to connect with real time painful set of emotions than the moments filled up with healthy happiness.

The story starts in an unexpected way where it's Anya and Dev indulged in making love happen but that's not how the entire story works in a process to deliver a happy note. Ahead is a journey filled with pain, fear, anger of loss, need of presence and things unexpected. Life brings up a twist and one falls prey to it's phases.

Life in case of Dev Wadhwa suddenly falls apart when Anya turns missing. Well, going missing isn't in the regular way as other books on thrill showcase and instead, it's more in a different way where the reader finds it unpredictable until the epilogue makes its appearance to unveil things.

Dev the alternate protagonist, his professional life becomes a rubble by some dramatic happenings. Everything happening around him seems surreal. Along with his love, while Anya, finds things in a mishap after a divorce happens and finds herself compelled to leave the phase of happiness and the onslaught on the broken hopes makes the life a more complicated one.

I actually found the bonding in the beginning between Anya and Farhan to be pretty much entertaining whereas the bonding shown between Anya and Dev was a thing deep enough to be acknowledged.

Author has shown rainbow of emotions with her style of narration which I feel made me learn and feel almost everything bit by bit.

Writing style is as usual gripping enough and so is the portrayal of characters where basic details are explained in a descriptive manners which actually depicts the kind of writer the author is and proves the work to be worthy enough. A well dressed read to opt in, for the upcoming weekend.

‘Finding Anya’ is a beautiful book written and published by author Sundari Venkatraman. It revolves around the protagonists Anya Chhabria and Dev Wadhwa. Anya was born to an orthodox couple who did not care about Anya’s preferences about her own life and career. She is forced into marriage by her family and relatives, which is why she planned to Farhan, a gay friend of hers, for long enough to complete and obtain her MBA degree. After happily going through divorce, she got involved in an accident the very same day, resulting in her landing up in a hospital. Dev was the one who rescued her and called in an ambulance, and even accompanied her all the time at the hospital. After Anya awoke from coma with amnesia, Dev brings her to his farm where he and his grandmother lived together; so that Anya could take a vacation in the wilderness and recover well. Anya was quite petrified after learning about her amnesia, since she was an independent individual and now she couldn’t even recall her own name. After coming to know about Anya’s amnesia, Dev’s grandmother treated her like her own grand daughter and gave her all the love. Spending time with each other, Anya and Dev fall for each other but are too feisty to commit. Will they end up together? Or will Anya’s life fall apart yet again? I really enjoyed reading the book. The amount of details and impeccable flow of emotions made the experience even better. Written in a very lucid and comprehensible language, ‘Finding Anya’ was quite enjoyable read!

Finding Aanya

Author- Sundari Venkataraman
Genre- Romance
Rating- ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We take so much for granted in life, be it our loved ones, our parents, siblings, career choices, happy times but most importantly our experiences and memories, imagine one day waking up to find you have none.

Aanya is an only child, and having to deal with persuasive and emotionally draining parents is forced to marry her best friend, who is also marrying in name only, as for him, Farhan, is not interested in marriage.

The story starts with their Divorce, as Farhan has finally found a partner with who he is in love and Aanya doesn’t want to tie him down in a fake marriage, which served its purpose. But then something terrible happens, Aanya meets with an accident in which she loses all her memory, this is when Dev enters her life (again)

Dev is now a billionaire farmer- an entrepreneur who is in horticultural of exotic flowers and vegetables. He has never been able to get this teenager out of his mind who had come to visit his neighbour's family a few years back and felt such passion for him, but then he was just starting in his career going from MBA in the states to a Farmer.

The second part of the book is filled with love and desires, warmth and understanding. There is drama on all ends especially with Aanya having no memories but will that always be the case? Will she never remember or will it come back somehow?

A beautiful read for a quite summery evening. Light and engaging. Grab your copy now.

The book Finding Anya by Sundari Venkatraman.
'Finding Anya' is a beautiful love tale and It is an extrememely romantic tale with very lovely characters. It is the affection tale of Dev, the eldest Wadhwa sibling and Anya.

The e book begins while Anya and Farhaan divorce, after signing off the papers they cross their seperate approaches but Anya finds herself in a automobile smash with nobody to help however Dev who is a former flame. Dev admits her to the clinic but no one is aware of she's there considering that she forgets who she is and Dev simplest is aware of her first name! Now it's as much as Anya to locate herself!

Upon divorce, the girl protagonist meets up with some thing that modifications her lifestyles entirely upside down. Here enters a person who enables her and is aware of approximately her past than she does in the interim. Who is that someone? What passed off to the female protagonist? Why did she get divorced firstly? Who is her husband, and what is along with his existence? What happens later to absolutely everyone forms the base of the tale.

What I cherished became the story passed off in exceptional surroundings, of a rich farmer than often stories being told and written as (a man being graduate from London and residing a high luxi lifestyles and proposed by way of Indian woman and so forth) This was genuinely a fab set up as the writer always try new plots and twists to make the tale lovely.

The e-book treated the mind-set of Indian orthodox households for whom marriage means everything, despite the protests from the youngsters. But because the story advanced, it felt like the equal problem is being shown from special perspectives just like the farmer problem of Dev.

This was a fab set-up as the author always attempt new plots and twists to make the tale beautiful. She knows how to write Desi romance and never disappoints me. The lovely love story of Dev and Anya turned into penned beautifully. The title become right and the duvet became very vibrant and appealing, like instantly out of a movie poster. Quiet waft of phrases and expressions that every lady can relate with Anya's character.

Language of the book is lucid and simple. Readers can enjoy reading it is good love story as it's a fictious read.
Happy Reading!!

This is a fast-paced and amazing story of Anya and Dev. It is said that love can be found only if destiny helps and yes, this story proves the same.

Sometimes some unfortunate incidents happen to us and we think why do such terrible things happen with me only? It's because destiny plays its role there and give us something very beautiful to cherish for life. The same thing happens with Anya too. Well, I can't reveal any spoilers so you need to read the story to get to know it all.

On the other hand, Dev couldn't lay his eyes on any other woman after seeing Anya five years ago. His focus was on his career back then. That's why he didn't want to marry and divert his mind. But then he couldn't think of any other woman and how could he find her knowing just her first name.

And then, destiny playlist a role and made these two beautiful souls together. Anya had Dev by her side in her difficult time and that's all it took to grow their feelings for each other. They became friends and then got closer as they led their life together at Wadhwa farm.

Other characters, Farhan and Arth were friendly. Dadima's presence gave warmth. The pets were lovely. Renu's character gave the story a little spice and villain vibes. I could imagine the beautiful farm and bungalow with apt narration. The climax was fulfilling with a fairytale happy ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I have been familiar with this author and can always count on her for a fast-paced story in the romance genre. I can always dive into her fictional world and get lost with the amazing characters. The characters are woven with accurate emotions. The language is lucid. The writing style is attractive. In short, if you are a fan of the romance genre, you will love this story.

Lovely story...

This novel is a rare combination of youngsters' minds, relationships and tangled thoughts along with a craving for freedom. The author has an impeccable taste in ideas and the control to execute them.

Giving my quick thoughts, it begins with and centres around a young twenty-four-year-old girl, Anya, who is married in pen and paper to her best friend, Farhan, just for the sake of freedom? The only child of her parents who wants to lead a life on her terms and conditions.

The opening pages begin with her divorce scene where she is seen extremely happy and free....free from all boundaries.

But destiny has something else enclosed for her. After her divorce, unfortunately, she met with an accident and the plotline takes a huge turn. The entry of new characters and erasing of memories to a new beginning of life make the story gripping with the following pages.

Dev Wadhwan added more spark to Anya's journey.

Do invest time to enjoy the changes that Anya faces in her life after the sudden crush she faced after a terrible accident. An amazing tale of a young girl, friendship, love and relationship. With a perfect title and well-sketched cover, the author has done lovely work.

Theme: The story follows the life of two people who get married due to circumstances and live as best friends till they get divorced. Upon divorce, the female protagonist meets up with something that changes her life entirely upside down. Here enters someone who helps her and knows about her past than she does at the moment. Who is that someone? What happened to the female protagonist? Why did she get divorced firstly? Who is her husband, and what is with his life? What happens later to everyone forms the base of the story.

Writing style: Firstly, the book dealt with the mindset of Indian orthodox families for whom marriage means everything, despite the protests from the kids. But as the story progressed, it felt like the same problem is being shown from different perspectives like the farmer issue of Dev . It felt more repetitive in places.

All the characterizations were good. But some portions could have been more intense. Like, the female protagonist's memory issue and her adjusting to the new life after that could have been dealt even more differently. Some more information shopuld have been given regarding that.

Anya and Dev's romantic portions were written well. The Gay portion could have been explored more.

Speaking of cover and title, the title was good and cover was very vibrant and attractive, like straight out of a movie poster.

Language and grammar: Language and grammar throughout the book was very good, making it a easy and smooth read.

On the whole, a great read recommended for people who are into a gentle, breezy and romantic read!

The book being small, can be completed just in one sitting.

"Finding Anya" by Sundari Venkatraman is book based on one of my favorite genres i.e. romantic fiction. I came across so many books from the author and I really feel astonished and love her writing style, the way she maintains grace in her plots, perfectly blend and layered with exact amount of intimate moments. It makes a read a perfect one. The elements present is this read are love, longing, romance, togetherness with a blend of twisting turns which adds the spice to the love tale and the unpredictable ending.
.
The story revolves around the two protagonists, namely; Anya and Dev.
Anya Chhabria, was a sweet, chirpy and beautiful girl who met with an accident and wakes up in the hospital room, without knowing who she was, how she was there, where she belong and why she was there.
Dev Wadhwa, was the charm of the story, a handsome, good looking man, who found Anya in the middle of the road lying unconscious. Do they know each other? Was Dev stranger to Anya? How Anya met with an accident? What will happen next? What is yet to arrived? Grab your copies and go through this wonderful read.
.
Now, coming on the book cover, it's fresh and vibrant. Very well-designed, the color and picture makes it look more catchy. The title was well-suited and searched. It create curiosity among readers to go deep into this read. The writing style of the author was rich and engaging. It will keep you hooked from the first page till the end. The pace was good as it was a short read. The narrations were apt. All the characters were strongly put up and well-built.
.
Overall, an amazing read, and will definitely recommend to everyone.

A perfect pick for a couple of hours to relax and enjoy a romantic ride with Anya and Dev! At first, when I started reading about the two characters (Anya and Farhan) I presumed it to be a normal love story of proposal, wedding and reception but when Dev entered the story it was different from what I imagined.

Anya is on the path to recovery from an accident as well and Dev is trying to find the life-mate he believes the woman he once kissed and never looked back at.

Every character in the novel is lively and has equal importance.

What I loved was the story took place in a different environment. You have the complete ingredients with which Sundari Venkatraman can do wonders and leave you wondering what next.

The book dealt with the mindset of Indian orthodox families for whom marriage means everything, despite the protests from the kids. But as the story progressed, it felt like the same problem is being shown from different perspectives like the farmer issue of Dev.

This was a cool set-up as the author always try new plots and twists to make the story beautiful. She knows how to write Desi romance and never disappoints me. Quiet flow of words and expressions that every girl can relate with Anya's character.

Finding Anya is such a beautiful read by none other than Sundari Venkataraman again!
She is just a magician when it comes to writing.
And by now, I have like become a huge fan of this author and also the variety of genres she chooses to write.

This novel is a tale of love with a variety of twists and turns. The story starts with Anya and Farhaan who are on the verge of a divorce, but Anya met with a car accident and Dev's character enters.

Dev helps her by admitting her to the hospital and she suffers memory loss.

Dev is trying to find her soul mate which he once kissed.

The book deals with various societal problems. One is the other orthodox mindset of families where marriage is the only good thing despite people being hurt tremendously.

Also, what I love the most about this book is the LGBTQ representation.

The cover of the book is aesthetic and catching.
Every character in the novel is lively and has equal space, that is what attracts it as well.

In all, the book was a smooth read. The language was lucid. The narration is smooth and to the point, making readers into it. The book isn't lengthy, so can be easily finished in one go.

Have read many books by the author and I must say the author never forgets to add magic into all her work.

The author's name is enough to force the reader to go through the book.

'Finding anya' is a beautiful read where you'll get romance, the fear to lose our dear ones, the power of destiny and the generation gap...which can be a reason why some parents finds it difficult to share a healthy relationship with their children.

Only destiny knows where we should be. If there's something that we wish to be ours the whole universe works together to give that to us.

It's definitely a must read. I'm glad that I got the opportunity to go through the beautiful book where Dev and Anya invoked cheerful moments.

A perfect pick for a couple of hours to relax and enjoy a romantic ride with Anya and Dev!
Anya on the path to recovery from an accident as well herself and Dev trying to find his life-mate which he believes is the woman he once kissed and never looked back at.
Her ex-husband who cares for her, hurts along with her but her parents who are very much indifferent to her. You have the complete ingredients with which Sundari Venkatraman can do wonders and leaves you wondering what next. And of course, leaves you impatient for her next book.

Anya Chhabria is about to step into a new life when an accident turns her life, literally and figuratively, upside down. When she wakes up in the hospital, she has no memory of her life before the accident. Dev Wadhwa, the man who saved her, is by her side and provides his full support in helping her recover. Anya's parents, her ex-husband, and a lot of people from her past show up, but Anya doesn't recall anything. Will she ever make a full recovery? And, is a romance possible between her and Dev when she can't even remember how they knew each other from before?

A lovely read!

We rarely go for an impressed author and their works to look after. Sundari Venkataraman is one of the authors who made me go in search of all her works to explore and enjoy it after reading this beautiful story "Finding Anya". This is the first book of the author I'm reading and I'm impressed by this amazing narration of contemporary love.

As a fiction lover, I thoroughly enjoyed the story that is bounded with pure love, friendship, ambition, destiny, modern life, and what more? All we need and expect in a fiction love story was there to live in an imaginary life of a world beyond practical life.

Though the name of the book is Finding Anya, I feel like the main protagonist was Dev and Anya was the core of the story which gives more charm to the character of Dev. The friendship between Farhan and Anya was unbelievable.

Every girl would love to have a wonderful partner like Dev and a friend like Farhan. I loved Dev and wish to have someone like him to live this beautiful life wholly.

The author's usage of language, narration, writing style and the emotions of all the characters that are expressed was simply amazing and no words to praise her more. The correlation of the past incidents to the present situation was a unique part of the author's specialty that I found in this book.

The expectations that the parents dumped on the children to face society was clearly explained. More than a romance, I can see this as an inspiring story of youths who want to live their life as they like.

Simply, I can say I loved and enjoyed this story by reading it in one day. I can pause and read but I was not able to put it on hold while reading this story. I would like to appreciate the author personally for this lovely story. And best wishes to do more in the future.

Enjoyed this book enormously. It was a marvelous story of love between Anya and Dev and friendship between Anya and Farhan. These were the 3 characters that I adored, I loved Daadima and as far as Amal and Renu went they really got on my nerves. I was very pleased that the cats and dogs also got a mention. In short a griping love story very much in the way that Sundari Venkatraman has got us used to. Another best seller.

Great book!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was nice to read how Anya slowly regain her memory and not for it to happen just like that. The parents seemed a little over the top but I guess that's what you get with typical desi ones.

Book Review 📕

I'm a great fan of romantic fictional books. This book titled "Finding Anya" is authored by Sundari Venkatraman. The first thing that made me pick up the book is it's mesmerizing cover page. The title is also good, and very much appropriate.

The plot and the diction made me love the novel to the fullest. The easy going and ornamental words makes the book a complete page turner.

This contemporary romance fictional book has a storyline that revolves around the themes - love, drama, emotions, heart-breaks, and friendship. The plot is set up in a manner as if it's some romantic movie.

Summary👇
Without mentioning too much of the spoilers, here's a short summary. The storyline is set around a girl named Anya. She is from Chandigarh and already married at a mere age of 22. Indian society sometimes forces marriages and Anya also had to accept her fate.

Anya is lucky as she had been married to her best friend named Farhaan Merchant. But, there is a twist in the plot.

The couple soon gets separated on the basis of mutual understanding. The divorce after a successful marriage must have been for some reason. What is their reason? Know it all yourselves by just diving deep into the storyline.

Another twist in the storyline left me speechless. Anya meets a road accident and loses all her past memories.

A 3rd character enters into the storyline. His name is Dev Wadhwa. What's his role in the storyline. "Finding Anya" is a beautiful book that presents emotions within the couples. The beautiful storyline also have beautiful memories and importance of friendship within.

Unique Love Story

At first when I started reading about the two characters (Anya and Farhan) I presumed it to be a normal love story of proposal s wedding and reception but when Dev entered the story it was different than what I imagined. The cute love story of Dev and Anya was penned beautifully. As I have read many books by Sundari I loved this too and the story was beyond my thoughts.

What I loved was the story took place in different environment, of a rich farmer than mostly stories being told and written as (a man being graduate from London and living a high luxi life and proposed by Indian girl etc) This was really a cool set up as the author always try new plots and twists to make the story beautiful.

Lastly the author said in an interview that since childhood she has been listening to stories of Raja Rani and at early age how to wish to write fairytale of king and queens. It is evident in every novel she publishes which comes up with a new exciting fairytale of her own.

Review
🎀
Farhan looked into her stormy brown eyes for a few seconds before nodding slowly. “Yeah, I know. But then, we have to live in hope, right? How else can we survive?”
🎀

The book starts when Anya and Farhaan divorce, after signing off the papers they go their seperate ways but Anya finds herself in a car wreck with no one to help but Dev who's a former flame. Dev admits her to the hospital but no one knows she's there since she forgets who she is and Dev only knows her first name! Now it's up to Anya to find herself! Dev wants to help but the person who only knows her by her first name can help so much and finally after almost four days Farhaan's spider sense works and he finds her only to see that she's lost her memories! Now he's tasked with the tough job of talking to Anya's parents (shudder) and explain to them of her condition without them knowing that they've divorced! Watch the tango of hearts as they dance around love and friendship and deception and sabotage!
The ways Anya's parents behave are woah! very well captured, in a typical indian family these things are natural as the air that you breathe and this book just had realism and fiction in a beautiful cookie dough batter that everyone will love!! I found Farhaan's part in the book very necessary because he's always there for her and that's what real friendship is!

A well written book and deserves the five stars! The characters are relatable and set in a typical Indian Orthodox family the book is informative of close minded people and a new generation of open minded people! The plot was very well executed the twists were set in the right time so that the reader cannot put the book down for even a single minute!
