With her best friend's upcoming wedding ripping at the seams, bridal consultant Evie can't help but take matters into her own hands. With the help of her worst enemy, Evie may just keep everything from unraveling... except herself.
I've been reading a lot of dark/depressing books lately, so I wanted to lighten things up a little and this fit the bill. I've read the three previous books in this series, and this one was similar: funny and charming, with just a little romance.
Evie works as a bridal consultant, but what she really loves is sewing her own stuff, and doing the alterations on the bridal gowns. One of my favorite parts of the book was her side gig designing costumes for plays (first it was "Jane Eyre and the Atmosphere", then "Wuthering Heights and the Terabytes"), futuristic takes on classic literature! She's a pretty normal 20-something, who likes her job and wants to find a relationship. She has a snarky love-hate relationship with Adam that slowly evolves over the course of the book.
It's a quick read that made me laugh a few times and ever tear up a time or two. It was also nice getting a glimpse of the characters from the previous books.
I literally love this series ! Evie and Adam are perfect for each other, it just takes a little extra time to figure it out, the way they bounced off each other and their little insults to each other made me laugh. I would recommend this book to everyone! <3
