*This is the final book in the Amour Toxique serial. It should be read after books 1 and 2.*

Something went wrong…or maybe right. I can't decide.

The devil before me is several shades darker than the one I knew not long ago.

When I look into his monster eyes, I’m afraid to blink. I’m afraid to breathe. I’m afraid to give him what he wants. He wants me. He wants me alive, and he wants me dead.

The name of the game is revenge.

**PLEASE READ: This book contains dark themes, including violence of a sexual and physical nature that could trigger emotional distress in readers.**

An exquisite epilog with a roller-coaster of emotions!! The anticipating last book of the series once again blew my mind away with the twists, the secrets, and the suspense!

I want to say many this about the conclusion but spoilers then will be inevitable so I'll stick to the basics it's better when you get the surprise face from the story itself!!! Before I say anything further I really have to say that I am really sad to see the series ending, I got attached to the story and it's characters the author creates this interesting background vibe and it's impossible not to connect with everything that is happening, all the emotions.

The second book of the series left us with a huge cliffhanger, I couldn't imagine that the third will leave me breathless, in this book the intensity is in the Warning Zone. Page after page secrets revealed yet the suspense increases cause you expect that Ivy will never escape this nightmare. But I have to admit that even though Damien is a twisted personality and he really overdid it with his last action, I keep loving this guy and I can still overlook all the bad things.

Alright, I stop here cause spoilers are overloading me from the corner... So to sum up if you're looking for an earthshaking full of twists story then look no further Amor Toxique is the perfect series for you! I love all the psychological thrillers the author has created, I honestly can say I'm addicted to them so I looking forward to reading more amazing stories from the author!!

The conclusion to this book was epic!!!! I was so wrong about every conclusion I came to from book 2, I'm usually good about knowing twists but, this book threw me for a loop!!

This book starts off right where book 2 ends. And all the mysteries and questions are revealed, this book answered every question I had perfectly and wrapped the series up perfectly. I'm deliberately being vague in my review cause the smallest little spoiler will ruin the whole build up of this series that started in book 1. The suspense of this series was there from the first page of book 1 up until the epilogue of book 3.

Ivy was so incredibly strong & resilient in this series. She's definitely a survivor with a huge heart and I loved her. I even loved the damaged soul that was Damien! I'm sad this series had to end.

I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy of this book

Wtf did I just read? How can Ivy just forgive Damien like that? Helloooo!! He freak'n almost buried her alive for god's sake! Left her in a coffin! If that's not enough to traumatize someone for life then I donno what is! And wtf is up with Damien thinking Ivy will love him if he pretended to be his psycho brother? That's just.. sick. Damien can't be any better than his brother if he's capable of such brutality. No one can just change 180 degrees..
Also, I didn't find Judson's character in this book to be terrifying at all. It felt forced and the author was trying to make him scary but it just didn't work for me. I think his character was more believable in the first book.. Judson was so so creepy in the first book it's not even funny! Judson from this book just wasn't scary enough..

Overall, I donno what to think of this series.. it was fun to read but it was a bit predictable! But it was good all in all.

This last book really touched me, it spoke to me In ways I didn't think possible. I don't agree with all Damien's decisions he wasn't innocent not by long shot, he hurt ivy in a sick way. But I believe in the grand skeem of things he truly loved ivy.

ARC Provided and Reviewed by We’ve Licked that book blog!

Too fully understand Midnight Rain you must read books 1 and 2 as this is the final book in the Amour Toxique serial.

After the end of book 2 I couldn’t wait to get my hands-on book 3 and it did not disappoint. I am not going go into details of this book in this review as it could be a spoiler…And I don’t want to give anything away.

Well what can I say about this book, I was sat on the edge of my seat reading… I was holding my breath throughout this Book I really wasn’t sure how it was all going to end..

I have been so hooked on the series since the first book. needing wanting answers and I got them and more…

I really liked Ivy in this one. Damien was another story I didn’t agree with some of the stuff he did to Ivy and what he put her through.
This one has a few twists I really did not see coming.
Very quick read but well worth it, the story just draws you in and it is very well written.
This book has Dark themes please read the warning if Dark reads are not your thing.
But if you love a dark reads then this book/ serial is for you.

This is a must-read serial.

I can’t wait to see what Dori brings us next.

Ugh! She had to go that route with the book. The evil twin route. I get enough of that with General Hospital, plus I'm reading one of her other stories that also go this route. Though while it did have some twists, it did end how I expected it to but at least it wasn't too predictable.

Before the actual evil twin came, I thought she would be let go, try to fit back into normal life, realize she couldn't, and figure that she had feelings for him the entire time and ends up going back to him at the end of the book. Well, I'm glad it didn't exactly go that way but I'm still confused as to how and when Damien actually entered the picture and caught on to them communicating from the start.

What an ending to the series. As usual with Dori's stories, there was excitement, fear, and evil. But also some good, and some redemption. This was a great series. Definitely worth a read

Okay, I'm only writing one review for this series for a couple of reasons. One, they are all about the same people, journey and the first two end in cliffhangers. And secondly I feel like I could just copy and paste the same review for all three books. That said this is the most FUCKED UP series I have ever read. I mean the ONLY reason I kept reading after the first book was that I HATE half finished stories. The only reason I'm giving this series 3 stars is because I'm not sure what else to give it. I mean the writing style itself was good. The author definitely got her thoughts across beautifully. Not to keep repeating myself, but those thoughts she got across were FUCKED UP. I sort of feel like I need a shower after this series. This last book threw you for a loop and didn't let up until you wanted to vomit, but at the same time I was still cheering for Damien. And let me tell you, that my friends makes me FUCKED UP TOO. I will tell those of you wanting to read this series this...go into this series with an open mind, an empty stomach and a bucket just in case. I'm not going to say "good read" because I'm not sure that is what it was but I will say that it was one HELL OF A FUCKING RIDE!!!!!

OMG the conclusion to this amazing what can only be as a dark romance has completely thrown me away.

Every question us the reader have asked ourselves is finally answered.

Like book two in what I have to say is one of the best dark read trilogies that I have ever read I cant give to much away as i really don't want to spoil it for you so close to the end and being the final book.

I know i haven't long just said this but seriously it is one of the best dark series each book in the trilogy has blown me away. I think at what one point a feather could of knocked me down. Expect a serious book hangover after reading this trilogy.

A must read read for 2017

Okay.

This series of books has touched my heart. Some parts of the book I did not like, as they were kind of rushed or confusing. But I loved this book because it shows great struggles, and someone healing and letting go of the past. I envy the characters in this book, feel every emotion they do, and want nothing more than to be able to forgive. The characters in this book were able to achieve what I could not accomplish, and they show a path that would've been lighter for me. This book has helped me in many more ways than one, and I am grateful for that. I would highly recommend this book to others.

Complete emotional rollercoaster! Very hard to read over the 3 books! Wow Ivy grew up didn't she! From making silly romantic decisions in the beginning when everyone was screaming DON'T DO IT!!!! Throw the letters away! To becoming such a strong character whose heart stayed pure and true to herself, I was so happy (and relieved) she got her ending on her terms! Just would've liked an extended epilogue of a few years on so we knew it all worked out!

Midnight Rain

Midnight Rain is the third and final book of this series. I read all three one after the other and was spellbound by the excellent way the story unfolds into the three books. This is a dark romance thriller but I found it really interesting also. People need to be more careful of their actions and willing to takes chances with someone just because they have a pretty face or sexy voice. Great books in my opinion. Be sure to read them in order.

This book now titled Dear Monster (dirty letters book 3)
Fantastic read. Betrayal, Suspense, psychological romance. So many twists and revelations. I can feel Ivy’s pain, indecision, confusion. I hated Damien, I loved Damien. Each time Ivy thought she was free from the monster another monster reared it’s ugly head. Who can she trust in this cat and mouse struggle to survive, to escape, to live.
Well worth the read.

Part 3

I started book one a few days ago and have carried on , this book continues the story between ivy and Damien .

The book ties up a few loose ends however I found this book rushed I managed to read very quickly and was a little disappointed that the story seemed rushed near the end .
The twists was a bit of a shock but what I expected .
I found book 1 much more exciting but I liked to finish and honestly this wasn’t as spectacular but worth the read .

This rain washed and nurtured.

These books make one of the best story's I have ever read. The depth of characters, situations, trauma, resilience of th human spirit. The attendant to go forward after a great trauma and forgive yourself and those who wronged us. The truth that love is a life renewing force. This should be celebrated as one of the greatest story told.

Finally finished reading the trilogy in a week! I really liked it, Ivy was really a tough woman indeed. This is so different from what I usually read, much more darker and give it a new sensation that I've never found anywhere. I must have a hard time to say goodbye to Ivy and Damien :( I really liked this book so much! Thank you ♥

This book kept me enthralled from start to finish. It was jam packed with action. There were several plot twists I didn’t see coming which makes me love it even more. I love when I’m proven wrong in my predictions. I read the whole series in one day. I love how it all ended. Worth the read for sure.

Wow!

I’m not even sure where to start. I surly was not expecting any of the way the story unfolded. I’m still left with many questions but I love how the story came together in the end. This will read again.

Better than the last two. Predictable of course but it did pick up the pace and add a little more spice to the story but still wasn’t anything fabulous.

OMG, this is the gripping conclusion to this wonderfully written series.

This is book three of the Amour Toxique series and it is the final book in this dark, thrilling series. The story picks up where book two left off and it takes you on an exciting, emotional thrill ride that has twists and turns of epic proportions. You must read Midnight Scent and Midnight Rain before reading this book if you want to get the full awesome story that is the Amour Toxique series.

Dori Lavelle knows how to write a powerful and gripping story that just pulls you in and takes you on the ride of your life. Don't miss this great series.

If you haven't read anything else by Dori Lavelle, read this series. Then go find her other dark romances, which are The His Agenda Series and The Fatal Hearts Serial. They are both some of the best written and totally engaging dark romances I have ever read.

Looking forward to reading more from this wonderful author.

Once again this author blows my mind. This series is definitely my most favorite from Dori. I'm sad that this is the end, but I'm 100% satisfied.

There is lots of twists, and turns in this dark, edgy and steamy book. Which isn't a surprise considering this isn't my first series from her.

We pick up right where we left off on the 2nd book. Ivy is trying to recover from what Damien has done to her. A relative from Damien's side and really messes things up. Can Ivy survive once again? Or will this break her?

I was honored in receiving this arc for my honest review.
Thank you so much for another incredible series.
