Está claro que no soy de esas personas a las que les gusta que alarguen una historia porque si. Todo iba bien en este libro, bueno, si es cierto que ya en el tercero pensé: ¡Vaya, esta historia podía haber acabado hace 3 libros!, pero se dejaba leer, ahora bien, después de acabar este libro vuelvo a decir basta ya. Ganas de estropear una buena historia para darle de nuevo una vuelta, cuando todos sabemos cómo terminará todo. Creo que paso de seguir leyendo, gracias.

I loved seeing Zeke and Rae as an official couple in this book. So many times you read a book and you don't get to see the couple just be happy until the very end. In this book, you really got to see their relationship bloom and see how they handle the change in dynamics in the friendship group. But this wouldn't be an EL Todd book if it didn't have a cliffhanger. I'm not happy with the information I found out at the end but I also know an author can turn things around so I really need the next book now!

I was super excited when book 4 & 5 from this series finally came out, I couldn't wait to get more from this set of friends and finally get Rae & Zeke as a couple.
I almost forgot how much I love Rex!!!! I mean who doesn't love a guy who's so oblivious and silly that when someone asks him he's ready to take the next level in his relationship, he asks what's the next level anal? Oh Rex how I love this blubbering idiot lol!!!!
In this book we finally got to hear Rykers story with his confession to Rae. And even with the events that unfold in this book I still adore Zeke and Rae together and can't wait to start the last book in this series.
This book ends on a slight cliffhanger wondering what Zeke will do but, thankfully book 5 is already out so I don't have to wait in anticipation.

Rae in this book was not my favorite character. She was mean and grumpy most of the time.Rex was a sweetheart and I loved him in this book more than I did in the previous ones.Rex has never had a real relationship and he’s afraid to do something wrong and he knows Kayden deserves the best.Rex and Kayden have a smooth sailing boat and I hope it stays like that but unfortunately for Rae and Zeek things are a bit patchy but they have managed to come through it together up until the end.
The ending of the book Broke my heart.I felt like screaming WHY into the sky.the cliffhanger is much more effective.

The author knows just how to keep our attention as this series features Rae, Zeke and let's not leave out Ryker. Me gusto mas que los otros por que aqui tenia ya una relacion con zeke PERO ENCERIOOOO ASI TERMINA DIOSSSSSS
No puede acabar asi,aunque ya lo veia venir cuanto llego tarde zeke a la casa al dia siguiente algo asi me imaginaba pero enserio como actuo todo normal no pense que mi suposicion sea cierta y ahora a espera hasta 26 cuanto salga el 5 ,pero saben ya en ese plan prefiero a ryker por que almenos el nunca se acosto con otra en esos 6 meses separados y el otro en cuanto pudo fue a revolcarse con otra y lo peor es que algo me dicee que fue su ex....no lo se pero ya me lo imagino y cuanto se entere rae Morira lentamente....PORQUE son los hombres asiiii dijooo DIOOS nunca aprenden♥

The wait for this book seemed to take forever but it was so worth it. I love Rex and Rae's relationship...I am so glad that we see this brother/sister viewpoint as it is so rare in any book.
I love all of her friends and I want a Zeke for myself.
Without giving anything away the ending actually made me cry and I can not wait to read the last book in this series. I devoured this book and read it in one sitting as it is that good.
Zeke and Rae are a bright light and make me so happy to read about. Their love is so strong and you wish she had realized it so much sooner.

I don't know what to think
Ok so I loved the first three books so much it's so hard for me to give this one a 3 star. While the story is good the end is stupid and I dreaded reading it because it was predictable. I'm so unhappy this happened, a misunderstanding is not the same as the actual thing so getting to the end and finding out I was right hit me hard. I don't even want to read the next book!! I know it's going to go with a lot of drama and tears at the beginning just to end up with a happily ever after, the kind of drama that is unnecessary! So over it :/

La verdad es q me ha parecido el más aburrido de todos, ya el tercero terminaba bien, no era necesario alargar más la historia, demasiado erótico, trama muy simple y el lenguaje más vulgar si cabe.

This a review for the entire series. all 7 books.
The series is supposed to be a romantic comedy but I can’t say that’s the case for all the books, not all of them I found to have a comedy anywhere near it, book one for example. So why did I continue to read the series well honestly because I was on the ARC (advance readers copy) list. I read other books by E.L todd and I can tell you one thing she seem to follow the same format for her characters, they are youthful early 20’s and somehow live very soap opera lives.
Rea , oh Rea….she does what every girl should never do she falls not only the bad boy but her brothers best friend as well in one series. Like I said book 1-5 or Light – Heart focus on the relationship between Rea, Ryker and Zeke. While the characters were easy sometimes I found myself questioning their intelligence. While the books were good and I kept reading, You could easily tell what was going to happen before it happened. So the twists through that series really in fact were not really a twist but still written well enough that I still read on. But by the time you reach book 4 it goes from being on a good streak down to plop. Book 4 was just completely mind-boggling and not in a good way at all. The relationship that formed with Rea and Ryker was hot and steamy. But then Zeke happens and it fell flat for me. It just wasn’t there, you know what mean. That sparks. I didn’t feel it. I didn’t even feel it towards the end. I was so team Ryker and E.L. Todd was so set on Zeke and Rea.
There is a lot of back and fourths in these books, like all of them you’ll find it happening at least once in every book. Throughout the book you don’t find your usual run of the mill problems for young adult. Rea is scientist, Rex ( her brother also the comedic aire in the book) won the lotto and bought a crappy bowling alley, Ryker (guy number) was left his father’s company and is now Rea’s boss and Rex’s friend, Zeke (guy number 2) is a freaking doctor and Rex’s best friend, Kayden and Jessie are the best friends of Rea. I think the author missed an opportunity to turn this series into a really good read. There were issues that could have been explored with the female lead character...Rae...with her mom's suicide and she could have gone into Ryker's past as well. I think that is truly what ruined the series for me. I felt Ryker was short changed in all of this. I am actually glad he did not end up with Rae...she was incredibly selfish and I was team Ryker all the way. Too much drama and manipulation with Zeke. The book just seemed like immature drama in between sex scenes. I actually skimmed through a lot of the sex because it quit being hot and began being repetitive. I am not a fan of these books at all. I did read five of them before reviewing...wish I didn't. I actually thought book five would unleash the deeper details...didn't happen. Don't get sucked into this nonsense...move on.

[Werbung, da Rezensionsexemplar] #schimmerderzeit ist bereits Teil 4 der #schimmerreihe von #eltodd und es kommt garantiert keine Langeweile auf. Rae und Zeke sind mittlerweile fest zusammen und das Leben könnte so schön sein, wenn ihre Liebe in diesem Teil nicht hart auf die Probe gestellt werden würde...und dies durch mehrere unvorhersehbare Geschehnisse. Lasst euch überraschen, es wird sehr spannend! Natürlich ist auch beim Rest des Freundeskreises jede Menge los und es macht Spass die Geschehnisse als Leser zu verfolgen. Das Cover des Buches finde ich wieder sehr gelungen. Und eigentlich lässt die Frage auf dem Cover #habichmeinentraumprinzengefunden schon einiges erahnen.... ich wünsche euch viel Spass beim Lesen und bedanke mich bei #hartwickpublishing für die Bereitstellung des Leseexemplars!

Honestly, reading these books felt like watching 5 seasons of the show Friends; except the characters and humor weren't as good.
The characters were all around 30ish, but pretty often their dialogue and thought process had me thinking they were in their early 20s. It had several moments where I was shaking my head at what was happening or being said, and thinking "Seriously?"
Rae was the main character and unfortunately I was not a fan. To me, she came off as a know-it-all who did no wrong. I actually liked Ryker more than any of them.
Overall it was just ok for me. It kept my attention, but I didn't love it like I hoped I would.

Awesome series
Just another book in a long line of great books! The life of Zeke and Rae seemed to be so well fitted. Then Ryker, a blast from the past, decided he needed to "clear the air" with Rae and what happened to him to make him drop Rae. Zeke decides he has had enough of the past coming back for Rae and has a night of drinking that may be the end of life as he loves it......cant wait to get to the next book to see what happens next! This entire series of Ray Of... is a definite must read.

This series is more like a soap opera than a romance novel between 2 people it's cost to much for me not to enjoy it so I'm quitting here
I was always team Ryder all the way I always like the broken bad boys but obviously the author is going for team Zeke . This is why I'm not for Zeke he's bff with Rae brother and Rae Confides in Zeke like a girls best buddy that you ask about guy stuff . I've read several series from this author and this series is my least favorite I think I'm done with this soap opera series.

I didn’t review on the last book. I was waiting to see where this one went, with Ryker coming back into the picture.
He does not deserve her time.
He’s got nothing about him. Swoops in after sitting on his arse all day, everyday and takes over as CEO. Turn off!
Then, he’s the opposite of Zeke, and is selfish and can’t just leave her alone when she’s happy with Zeke.
At least Zeke was respectful, and let the relationship run its course.
And lastly, Zeke!! You idiot!

Wow! Another scorcher from E.L. Todd! A complete turnaround in my hopes for how this instalment was going to turn out. I couldn't put this one down either. It's a great read and this time it was nice to get to know some of the other characters a bit better. I don't want to ruin the story for anyone so I'm a bit stuck for what to say but believe me, you'll be put through the ringer a bit more and it will certainly stay with you.

This 4th book finds Rae and Zeke finally together. This series doesn't ever let well enough alone though so the reader is in for a bumpy ride. The book ends on a decision Zeke makes that Rex tries to talk him out of. I'm on to read book 5 now. Book 6 comes out on the 23rd. Fabulous, engaging, heartfelt, sexy series! I'm loving it!

Pensaba no leer ninguno más ya que la trama (sí, la poca que hay) está un poco estancada, pero la autora ha conseguido captar mi atención con el último párrafo, abriendo de par en par la puerta del salseo, (bien por ella). Así que leeré el quinto, ya que se lee muy rápido (con las escenas de sexo que sobran en diagonal o directamente las saltas) para saber como soluciona ese desenredo.

Zeke n Rae are finally together but then their pasts come back to upset both of them. Ryker's damage is the worst but of course the book ends on a cliffhanger. Rae is a real sweetie with some great girlfriends. Rex's character is actually starting to round out more 3D n become more believable. Zeke is a typical boyfriend...hot, a great lay n jealous.

I loving the series but finding the situations are getting repetitive. Never heard of so many big cocks and the same feelings etc. but the story line is good and I will read the last book but need a break from it first.

(Retitled: Don’t Worry I Still Hate You) Another book in the Ray Series, again they all remind me of a more explicit version of the TV show, Friends. Ray and Zeke are madly in love when Ryker tries to win her back. Zeke reacts wildly, which in turn, drives Ray away.

another great story from E.L. Todd. I like this series very much. I am on final book and can't wait to see how this ends. Rae has had so much loss in her life. I am surprised she trusts anyone.
